We own a local business and today we needed a vehicle fixed quickly so we could keep operating. They worked us in. JE does all of our auto repair, always excellent service at a fair price.
If I could give them zero stars, I would. I took my car to them twice within a week and they just kept telling me my spark plugs needed replaced even after replacing them the day before! They were trying to charge me a 3rd diagnostic fee for something they couldn't even diagnose correctly the first two times. I ended up taking my car to 360 auto where they found out I needed the short block on my engine replaced!! I was absolutely livid JE auto had me spending $750 on spark plugs and was trying to charge me another diagnostic fee for a 3rd diagnostic that I needed. They were literally just guessing on what needed in hopes it would fix it and having me spend all this money without even knowing the real problem.
The friendly receptionist was sympathetic to our need to get immediate help! Radiator had a tiny hole. Hector took us in and remedied the radiator and was fast, extremely efficient team of mechanics, and had mercy on our situation. Thanks Hector and team! 5⭐️
Horrible. Took 7 hours to get breaks done when told it would take 2. They broke the cover on my tire and didn’t mention anything. Will not be back and will not recommend!
This is a very reputable and honest repair shop. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are reasonable and he gets the repairs done in a very timely manner. We have used J and E many times and have also been glad we have. He was recommended by several different friends.
I paid them $1300 to align my car, and replace struts and hub bearings. My problems continued for a month, with multiple tows to them and Firestone. Come to find out through Firestone that JE did NOT align my vehicle. I would not have found out about this had I not taken my car to Firestone. THEN I found out (after 3 more breakdowns) that when they replaced the struts they forgot to tighten a bolt on the drivers side (again through Firestone).
I had it towed back to JE to fix and get a refund. They refused to refund the labor cost (of labor that was incomplete and negligent), and only refunded half the cost of one strut and the alignment repair after I fought them on it.
I drive my car to work everyday on the interstate, and I also transport my son in this car. I had taken my cars here multiple times before, but I will no longer. I cannot recommend them with a good conscience.
I’ve used JE twice now when I had some emergency issues come up with my vehicle. Both times have been completed very quickly and the cost is very fair. Highly recommend.
They managed to get me an appointment in a very timely manner. They fixed the problem but had an issue. The issue was not their problem but was a bad part. They immediately fixed the problem and I was on my way. Very satisfied. Thank you J & E.
Just called to look at my radiator leak. Fixed my slef. But the guy let me know everything. Even if it was found as other issues. He price me on that. Very friendly and very to the point. I love that

Our car would not start. I called they referred us to a towing company. The people came very fast. It was a Saturday afternoon by the time I called them, and they had the car fully repaired by monday. The price was decent as well. I have no complaints about our experience.
Got my company's work van into shop right away with no hassle. The mechanic was very helpful and when I had a question about a repair cost it was explained to me. All together it is a really good repair shop.
Brought my girlfriends car here to have fuel pump replaced. Their prices are fair, diagnosis and repair explained with detail, and done quickly. Id return to J E auto again.
Just a bad experience. I purchased an 08 F150 through their sale lot and in less then a 1000 miles issues started to arise. The check engine light came on and truck would just stall out after engine got warm/and reverse. I reached out to JE Repair to see if they could repair it cheaper with my recent purchase from their sales lot. Codes came back as Catalytic converter and so they replaced both (non OEM parts so they welded them without a heads up).
Shortly after picking it up it happened again (in line to pick kids up from school). I immediately took it back to the shop and I was able to replicate the issue to the owner. They kept the vehicle for over a week to find out they replaced the fuel pump without my knowledge and consent. Also a lack of communication throughout the whole process. They said they fixed the issue. Picked up truck and was still having the same problems I was having before catalytic converters & fuel pump were replaced. On top of it now I get an EVAP code most likely from faulty fuel pump replacement. Very upset at this point.
While they had my truck I decided to youtube my truck and issues I was having and VCT solenoids are a common problem on the f150. Purchased OEM and replaced myself and all fixed now except Evap code. All in all a very bad experience. They made money off my vehicle purchase, in my opinion unneeded repairs, and now I have issues related to their repairs. Very disappointed and I hope my experience isn't repeated. Have a good one!
We had a transmission problem on our van less than a year ago. They had the best price for rebuilding the transmission, about $1,600. Before the year warranty was up, the transmission began to jerk when it was changing gears. We took it back, and they kept it about 3 weeks. (After 2 weeks we asked for a loaner, and they provided one.) They replaced the torque converter and torque converter pressure solenoid at no charge.
A month later, it began to shift rough again. We took it back again, and they said there was a recall on the torque converter. They kept it for 5 weeks, while waiting for a replacement that was on backorder. (Again we asked for a loaner after 4 weeks, and they loaned us a junker pickup with no heat.) They again replaced the torque converter and torque converter pressure solenoid at no charge, but also replaced an EVAP purge valve solenoid on the motor without our prior consent at an $81 charge, because the "Check Engine Soon" light was on. They had taken it to another dealer for diagnosis and then reset the computer upon their suggestion. When we got it back, the engine had a rough idle. The transmission still jerked when shifting, but mostly later in the day after it had been driven for awhile.
We took it back, and they said they would look at it and check out the rough idle. They called us in a couple days and told us it needed a $360 tune up (plugs and wires), and that they could not duplicate the hard shifting. They said that they would have to do the tune up before they could diagnose the transmission problem. We declined the tune up, and was charged $30 for the diagnosis. They said we were given a $30 discount, as a diagnostic normally costs $60. We brought it home, and it's sitting in our driveway.
We are very dissatisfied customers to say the least. My wife and I feel that JE Auto Repair needs to make this right.
Thank you for excellent SERVICE. Always I take my Car for any kind of problem and oil change and I never had a problem. I trust in this people, they are friendly and profesional . They are very honest and fulfilled and they do not charge you more as in other places that for being a woman they invent more problems than your car really has. Thank you very much!
My husband had his truck towed here, and so we also called about my vehicle and a man insisted that he had property diagnosed my vehicle prior to any inspection and he was wrong! We did a $25 fix as opposed to his $200 diagnosis and they kept adding items and "fixing" them without our approval. To add, when we picked my husband's truck up, IT HAD NEW ISSUES. Beyond annoyed and feel like we were cheated.
I was traveling to visit family in Arkansas when my truck decided to spit out a spark plug of all things. I was able to limp to the shop and Hector dropped what he was doing and personally fixed my vehicle and got me back on the road inside of 2 hours and more importantly didn't overcharge or take advantage of the situation. Took my son's car there for a minor repair. They had it done the same day even though there was an additional problem to fix. The shop looks clean and organized. They were somewhat busy but very courteous. I would go back again if needed.
I took my truck in to get my heads replaced and worked i was quoted 1200-1400 and they said it would take 1 week They had my truck almost 3 weeks i went to get my truck and the bill was 2000 how there quote was so far off they couldnt explain they through a bunch of little parts tht were just fine in to make them a quick but worst service ive had then wen i got my truck it had a tick i took it back they asked me when i had my oil changed and i told them when they did it last they said they didnt but on the bill it showed they did one more lie so now im 2000 in my truck a bad tick and they wont do nothing about it im WARNING anybody who wants work done on ur vehicle DO NOT USE THEM.
WORST SHOP IN WEBB CITY
We purchased a vehicle from these folks a couple of years ago. It's been a very reliable car. We have been using them for scheduled maintenance on that vehicle ever since. Recently, our other car needed an inspection for license renewal. The mechanic located a problem in the front end that was causing very uneven wear on a set of almost new tires. They fixed the problem on time and at a very reasonable price. The staff there is very well trained and very customer service oriented. They're a family-owned, local business and I like that a lot. I would recommend them without reservation!
They have done work for me twice and it was excellent. I had to leave my vehicle with them but they were kind to give me a ride home and fill me in on the repairs being done.
It is a family business and they are very fair and honest in pricing their work.
