Their Website said there is a charge of $15 for mattress and box springs. Well after the trip there, they wanted $20 for each piece or $40. I think that is too much. I'll find another way to dispose of it.
Overall a well maintained recycling center with no charges outside of certain items like mattresses. The bins have never been closed while I was there and the only downside is that you must sort your own recycling.
Large assortment of bins!! I had the choice to park in the center area of the parking lot or I could pull up next to the bin I needed. It was satisfying to see so many like-minded people taking the time to recycle. Upon leaving, I was happy to discover the secure donation box for my monetary donation!
Usually great place. Today, I found out they close on Saturday at noon. Had my truck full and needed this location to be open as advertised until 5 pm.
This place is such a nightmare. Must like the dentist, I dread ever going. Parking is abysmal and it's always packed, so you will absolutely have cars parked in front of the bins and cars all around you, circling the small lot. Most of the bins are closed or almost completely full. Strongly needs to be in a different location and redesigned.
Called them to ask about paint recycling and was transfered to a gentleman named Jody. He was extremely helpful. One of the most informative and helpful calls I've had for recycling and environmental sustainment. Thank you for your help!
This recycling center is convenient to east Springfield. It’s usually pretty busy but easy to get in and out. They have yard waste recycling and mattress recycling that benefits Victory mission.
Lone pine recycling center provides a very much needed service for everyone, very well maintained and clean facilities. They should be comminded for what they do for recycling.
Parking is a little awkward. Everyone is very friendly. Honestly I would give it 4 and a half stars if I could. Wear walking shoes as you will have to trot from container to container as you deposit your various recyclables. I rather enjoy the time I spend here. Let me be clear: parking isn't difficult at the Lone Pine Recycling Center just awkward.
Great place to drop leaves, branches (<2 inch diameter), and recycle. However, they are closed Sundays and Mondays. Please, consider opening Sundays during busy leaf season. Charge more taxes, create more jobs. People need that service on Sunday. I am struggling to get leaves done on Saturday before 5pm.
This recycle center is fairly close to the house and most every time I've been there it's generally busy. However not this time, I was the only bloke there... Regardless it's a great place to drop off glass, plastic, tin, aluminum, card board and paper. They also do yard waste.
Great recycling center for paper, glass, cardboard and yard waste. Easy and convenient location. Very organized and clean. Help minimize the trash load by recycling as much as possible. This center is a big help doing that.
I frickin' LOVE this place!!! Always clean and the staff are just about the friendliest and most helpful folks you'll find. Also, a great place to get compost and mulch, while supporting the facility, the community, and the environment!
Great facility in the community for recycling. It was nice to see the attendant helping people (elderly and disabled) recycle their items. The facility always seems to be busy, which is good! Most folks get in and get out.
The facility is really nice and hidden away from the surrounding buildings. The staff is very helpful and the customers are too. It is always busy and I love seeing that.
I took two mattresses there tied to the roof of my van the guys were at the other end of the lot and before I could even get out of my van they were there ready to help me and they literally did all of the work they could not have been friendlier big smiles on their faces very pleasant experience.
I am very impressed with Lone Pine recycling. Branson may not reopen their facility. I had 5 months of recycling that was taking up so much room in my garage. A man told me about this facility in Springfield. I packed my SUV with all of my recycling and took it there and I'm glad I did. It is an awesome place. I did not meet any of the employees there, but was able to get all of my recycling put in the proper bins. It appeared to be run very well there, and people dropping off recycling were very nice. I discovered that I did not get this sent a couple of months ago. However it is now almost a middle of August and I want to take up another load to Springfield. There is still no decision made on reopening the recycling center in Branson. Once again I will be more than happy to make a cash donation.
Great place! Staff is friendly and helpful, plenty of parking or you can drive through, the bins are always emptied in a timely manner. They also take additional things that other recycling centers don't take such as mattresses, leaves, tree limbs, etc.
Excellent place! Staff are helpful and friendly. I've see several of them help more elderly folks get their recycling items to the proper place. Been going here for years!
