I’ve been in the cell phone tower business for 18 years and never been turned down for 1 5/8” coax that has copper that runs all the way through it. 2500 feet. It has an inch diameter hollow ring that’s solid copper and the out side under the jacket has another 1.5” ring with foam that separates it. 😂 just made me laugh and thought I would share. Not to bright
The staff working at Gold Star Recycling were so pleasant and helpful. I was there on the Saturday after Christmas after searching out a place to take my Recycling since Columbia's is closed. Although it wasn't much I gave all the $ I got for my aluminum to the young man helping me recycle my cardboard. I will be back.
They were very quick to unload and were friendly, pricing seems fair, place is what you'd expect for a recycling facility. Would recommend if you have scrap to recycle.
I frequently do business with Gold Star. They have always been great. Their prices are fair, the staff is very professional. They are helpful and polite. The owner is always smiling and respectful. One time I left my chain and come along by mistake at the unloading area and they saved them for me. I wouldn't care to take my metal anywhere else.
I had some scrap copper to take down sell it painted it to the guy at the scale and he separated it and weighed it 900 my ticket told me to go inside to the lady I haven't heard the ticket she needed me to cash and out the door I went friendly people Connecticut lottery in the warehouse and it looks good just remember whenever you got it if it's crap whatever they'll take it if I
can recycle it they'll take it
So are recently scrubbed a 38 foot refrigerator truck. And I took in the heavy aluminum all the heavy aluminum other than the floor and 140.00 is all I made.
I brought in 4 rotors and they gave me $.06 for 4. I also brought in a 4X4 box of brass door knobs and was charged $.06 as well. When I went to correct it the owner said I'm lucky I got that amount because their system doesn't like decimals and rounded it up. They were rude.
This place is dishonest. We had an 800lb water heater and other metal. They said it weighed 200lb for everything! Completely dishonest and ripping people off. If we could have lifted our stuff back on we would have left but we can’t lift an 800lb water heater! Drive to ANYWHERE else if you want to deal with honest people.
A really good place to take scrap metal and aluminum to for recycling !! The guys that help you unload are helpful and friendly !! I've only recently been there , but i know i will keep taking my business there👍👍👍

I been going to Mr Star ⭐ recycling center sence the open I am the owner of A-1 Appliance services and Apache Appliances and I recycle,all the appliances I receive if I can fix them I Will completely take All cooper off the appliances and the are very good at giving me the top price,

If you are in a semi, its a tight squeeze! To me, they need to have signs telling you what to do or where to go because lord knows the employees don't. Once you are on the dock, they move pretty fast. Its just getting in there thats the problem!
Employees are always very busy here and always friendly. It's a good place to drop off metal no matter how large or small a load you have. I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY BUY ELECTRONIC PARTS FROM COMPUTERS. My son and I occasionally recycle them.
Took a set of catalytic converters out there 5/24 the guy checking them over didn't know what was what. Went to the office and total was $31. I should have just kept them but took the $31. Today 5/25 took the exactly the same converters out to Miller's off 54 and got $65... I figured maybe $5-$10 difference, but $34.. Lol will never return to gold star!! I will start delivering my scrap to Miller's.
