Asked these owners to give me a receipt to get my money back, and they couldn't even do that! Real quacks for a business. And not to mention he wanted to threaten me over a phone. Real big man!
Car accident on Tuesday. They came and without telling me a price of what it would cost before they tow it they just hook it up and tow it. Then later tell me I owe them $200 for a tow that was only 5 miles from their lot. Should’ve told me the price before towed it or I would’ve had someone else tow it. Will never use them again. Extremely rude and unprofessional. Telling the customer that they are cocky and other things. Super rude and unprofessional. Bunch of a holes there. Absolutely Ridiculous. You want to run a business then tell people prices before you do the work on their car and then tell them that they owe you a ridiculous amount is stupid. I would give them 0/5 stars if I could.
Reliable, Professional and dependable. Prices are more than fair, driver went above and beyond even before towing my Ford Escape to the shop. Forever grateful
I had a minor accident and my car was towed. When I called the owner and asked if I could get my personal things out, clothes, shoes, makeup etc he told me that I would have to sign over the title and pay him $100. To get my car out the next day, it would have cost me $300. I was very dissatisfied. Now 2 months later almost, The owner states below that I was "under the influence" I was not under the influence of anything, that is a lie. I have congestive heart failure. I had and do still have my title to this car. That was also a LIE, everything the owner says is a Lie and I can and will back up EVERYTHING I am saying.
My vehicle was stolen and wrecked. it was picked up by rapid recovery. I was never notified by the highway patrol or the tow company that my vehicle had been in an accident. But I found it and contacted the owner who met me at the tow yard so I could see my vehicle. I was told by him that I could see it but I could not touch anything in it because it was stolen, it was on a police hold. I told him i would not be reteaving my vehicle it was too far damaged to fix, but I would be getting my personal items. I told him I had the title and would bring it when I came back for my personal items. I waited about 20 days to hear from the police or highway patrol, with no response. Finally I called and was told highway patrol didn't have a hold on it, it was stolen from my house which was city police. I called city police and asked them about the hold, they also had no hold on the vehicle either. So I called the owner of the tow company back who told me he never told me that. He told me it would be 150.00. And the title of my truck to get my personal items back, I agreed to that and called everyday for the next week and a half trying to get him to make time to meet me at the yard. On the day it turned into 30 days he told me I would not be getting anything back. That after 10 days he owned everything, but now that 30 days was up I wasn't getting anything back. The law doesnt read that way. I will be getting a lawyer. Read the law before you trust what they tell you is the truth. Title Xix section 304-157 covers towing companies. They cant just do what ever they want to.
The man who runs it is very friendly and at the same time very fair. He sticks to what he says and everything will still be where you left it in the vehicle even a year or better later! Highly recommend this company!
Very helpful and cheap! They got called to an emergency call and they lined someone else up for me and it was the same price as they quoted. I definitely recommend them
Engaged in outright profiteering when performing a tow less than 20 miles because contacted by the highway patrol, $175.00. I attempted to speak with the ownership and ask them to show some degree of understanding, but their position was they were allowed to charge the exorbitant fee and were sticking to it. I am aware that most other tow services within the City of Poplar Bluff do show understanding for people and their families under the same circumstances. If you do business with them, please be aware of the type of business you are supporting.
