Our truck broke down on 60 west in the afternoon. Barkers was able to tow our truck AND our rv at the same time. Dropped our rv at Camelot rv park (which is a clean friendly lovely park) and then deposited our truck at the barkers repair shop. Justin was friendly, confident expert at towing! Bobby at Barkers Repair said they would find the problem within a day..kept his promise and called with the reasonable repair price. Done the very next day. Got a personal call in the morning from the mechanic. This is the best pla et to get your repairs done or if you break down may it be where Barkers can get to you. Thank you so much for your honest great work!

I typically never leave reviews on Google, however the folks at Barker's Towing/Auto Repair deserve to be recognized for their outstanding customer service! In late August, while traveling from St. Louis to Hot Springs, Arkansas my wife and I were stranded 40 miles from Poplar Bluff, MO. The driver arrived promptly, safely loaded our truck and had us in line at Barker's repair shop. The mechanic ran a quick test with a code reader, isolated the problem, and had our truck running in less than 30 minutes! We arrived at our destination as planned without canceling our hotel or dinner plans. Seldom do you run across the type of exceptional service and courtesy that we experienced with Barker's Towing/Auto Repair! We 1,000% recommend them if you're faced with auto repairs or need a tow in the Poplar Bluff area. May God bless you and your business!

Sam Conway is the best, awesome guy and great service. Some how i got myself locked out of my truck and Sam didn't give up until he opened my 2024 Peterbilt 579, it was tuff to pry open, but Sam did it. Highly recommend Baeker's!

On the way home from camp on Friday our church van overheated and we needed a tow! We were still 30 minutes from town and worried about being out with the kids in the heat. Justin from Barker’s Towing was there within 45 minutes! We were able to get back to the church quickly and efficiently! Thanks Justin for rescuing us so quick! Baught a old truck, ran pretty rough..they worked on it for a day under cost, and fixed it right the first time....I highly recommend them... staff are great, and never at any time received a sales pitch trying to get more money.. told me what the issue was and fixed it....great place with great mechanics..honest place

The service and employees are wonderful at Barkers Towing. I went to check on getting tires for my vehicle on Monday at the recommendation of Connie Allen. Vernon was very helpful and friendly. He was able to get them ordered for me and set up an appointmeent for the next day. They were very considerate of my wait time and finished way ahead of schedule. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them for your auto repair needs. Thanks to all who took care of my vehicle today!!

Called barkers to come and move a shed from one property to another and Justin at barkers came. Out and did it in a timely manner and safe and no damage done at all

Came very quickly and were able to get the car onto their truck without any damage even though it was sitting on one of the wheels! Good job guys!!

I always call Barker's Towing for anything. Whether it's to replace my tires, getting my car out of the mud, or towing it to the nearest mechanic they're the most reliable. Especially Josh! He's the MVP and helped me out of more issues than I can count. Thankful for him!

I am a 64yo woman! And I had issues with my car not starting. I changed the battery since I was at Walmart when this happened. Still wouldn’t start. Called my roadside assistance and this gentleman was there in 5 min. He took a look at it and said my connections really corroded. So he convinced me to take it to Barkers Repair. Everyone there was nice and kept me informed of everything. They took me home and picked me up when it was fixed!! Fantastic service!! They were able to fix it for less than what I thought!!! I wish I could give 100 stars! So if you need repair or towing make sure to call them!! Very professional and very very nice people. Also thank God they have a sense of humor cuz this old lady’s is very warped! 😁😁

ALWAYS recommend Josh with Barkers to EVERYONE that I know when they are in need. He is timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and get the job done! I've had just about every service I believe from tow, battery jump, to helping me get in to the shop for repairs. He is always willing to do whatever needed to ensure the safety of his clients, ensure the vehicle is in same condition when picked up, and makes an otherwise potentially stressful situation better!!! Called Barkers when our tractor got stuck in the field and Josh was quick to get to us and done an excellent job! Would recommend Josh to help anytime!

Told me the hose wasn’t leaking refused to fix the vehicle said nothing was wrong with it charged 102$ for a hose clamp that supposedly fixed it and they rotated tires. Took to Matt’s auto right after and the line was leaking as well as the intake runs and drives perfect now no codes when I was showing the tech you could tell he didn’t want nothing to do with the job and the guy up front just goes off what he says doesn’t check behind his workers.

I would like to give a big shout out to Josh he did a fantastic job getting my sons f250 with wide wheels delivered to my house safely . He also was very helpful answering my questions about getting it repaired. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a tow.

I highly recompensed Barker's! Our car, 2008 Lexus, broke down on move across country from New York to Tucson Arizona. It was the radiator. Barker's was so helpful. They towed us and dropped us off at the Hampton Inn. They even called to check on us. We broke down on a Sunday and they took time to look at it Sunday evening. The radiator was replaced and we were on our way Tuesday morning. I couldn't believe how cheap the bill was. I offered to pay more than my bill and they wouldn't accept it (I was paying with a card or I would have just left cash). I usually only write negative reviews, but Barker's stood out!

Great experience with Josh from Barkers. Towed our 2019 Highlander from Malden to Poplar Bluff. He called us to let us know when he would be arriving. Got us to the Toyota Dealership so we could get it fixed and get back on our way to Northwest Arkansas.

Vern and all the guys at Barker’s are so great, so helpful! I was just down visiting friends in Missouri from Michigan when my rearview mirror fell off my windshield, they sent me down to Patriot Glass and assisted with grinding some junk off the mirror base, no wait, no grumbles, no charge, just really helped a girl out! Super appreciated, they’ve always been so good to me!

Fantastic place to deal with! I don't live in Poplar Bluff but was on a shopping trip and ended up in an accident while there. The driver who towed my car was extremely nice. He took us to the car rental and waited to make sure I got a car before leaving us there. They were also very nice when we had to retrieve our items from our totaled car. Great business to deal with.

My daughter and I were traveling from St. Louis to Houston when her car engine service light came on. The car suddenly became underpowered. We were able to make it to Popular Bluff and google searched an auto repair shop. We were lucky to have found Barker’s. The staff was incredibly friendly and quickly checked out our vehicle. The computer indicated a bad alternator. Unfortunately, no one in town had a replacement alternator as this was a VW manufactured part. The gentleman at the service desk, the young man that assisted, and the mechanic that checked out the vehicle were incredibly helpful. I ended up renting a U-Haul truck and tow dolly to get our vehicle to Houston. The gentleman (sorry that I did not get your name) went beyond the call of duty and helped me load the vehicle. We sincerely appreciate the Barker’s team and all their efforts to get us back on the road. Merry Christmas and all the best for 2024! Mike

We were on the road when our emergency brake broke after hitting a pot hole. It sounded like the whole car was messed up. Being hundreds of miles away, we stopped at Barkers expecting a wait and expensive fix. They got us in right away and were honest in letting us know that (after removing the broken brake from the tire) my car was completely drivable when they could have nickel and dime’d us. Quick service and honesty greatly appreciate.

We 2 women drove an hour and a half one way to pick up my daughter's Harley-Davidson that was in an accident. The mechanic and the fella's in the shop helped us secure it on the trailer even loaned me straps, as ours wasn't sufficient enough. All around good people. However, didn't really appreciate the fee for using debit card, but business is business I suppose. Thanks again guys for all your help!!
