I was told at first that my car would take from being towed to out of the shop in 2 days and estimated around $1500- to NO MORE THAN $2000. Well, NEITHER of those happened. The estimate was almost $4,000 and with going through an insurance claim, they had my car for 19, yes, 19 days. To make matters worse, the front desk receptionist, Sandra O, spoke over me REPEATEDLY when trying to find out information about my vehicle and also about the insurance claim on why the absurd amount of time. (I also had to pay for a car rental and that in itself cost around $2,000). I do have to say that I just had to bring my Nissian back in and had to have them replace my back break pads and they got me right in, so cuddos, I did however appreciate that . I do wish that I had just a review for the front desk. I DID NOT care for Sandra, she’s just rude. She kept talking over me throughout my WHOLE ENTIRE experience. It’s too bad that I couldn’t have given the shop a better rating. I’m not the only person who has had issues with her, it’s all on the reviews
Tyler arrive in about 39 mins after our tire blew out in 15 degree weather. Not only was he quick and changed our tire but also took the extra time to make sure our spare had enough air all while having a funny personality!
If I could give Bryon Dilley 10 stars, I absolutely would. These last few weeks have been extremely rough on my family, and part of that was my car breaking down. I left work and got to my car, and it wouldn't start. Even though we were his last tow of the day, Bryon took the time to look at the car and figure out what was going on with it, to try and save us some trouble and repair costs. He was patient, and even let us use his gas can, just in case the angle of the car had anything to do with my car not starting. I was beyond impressed with everything he did before he even hooked the car up. Genuinely a customer-oriented driver. We also had the privilege of Bryon being our tow driver to get a second opinion, and he stood up for us when the dealership was being difficult despite open communication. If Bryon is towing your car, I guarantee it's in excellent hands!
Great customer service, however the body work was subpar. The hood and fender alignment was so bad, we noticed it before we even got out of the car to take a close look. The did correct the issue, however its still not perfect. For ~$9k worth of work I thought I would have received a small discount for the shotty work and inconvenience of additional time without a car.
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I would like to share my opinion on Collision Repair. They have been extremely great to me. My truck has given me LOTS of issues, and they are always so understanding & willing to jump in, helping me solve the issue and fix it. I have been towed by them AT LEAST 7 times now. Whether it was back to their shop, or somewhere else. Every time they have been respectful. One time we thought it was just the thermostat, but ended up being the whole radiator… they came and picked me up off the side of the road when it overheated again, (on them) and fixed the issue for me. They have always been fast about getting me in and out!! They have done little jobs from routinely changing my oil, to big jobs like the radiator. The desk ladies are so nice, and Ricky is a great mechanic! I will continue going to them, and I am very grateful for their kindness & honesty.

This is, by far, the worst car repair company I've ever used. Sadly, they were recommended by my insurance company. Backstory, my son was in a car accident and the car was towed to their location. After approximately 5 weeks of work and repairs, we arrived to pick up the vehicle. We immediately noticed a large crack in the windshield, that wasn't there prior to his accident and wasnt claimed on the numerous insurance claims by Collision Repair. Marcus, a repair specialist, stated "he noticed the crack earlier when he pulled the car around". After a very heated argument Marcus also stated "it's my word against yours and we're not replacing the windshield. We've already placed all claims with your insurance company". Mind you, the vehicle wasn't in my possession during this incident and Collision Repair feels no obligation to repair a windshield that was clearly damaged while in their care. Do yourself a favor and never use this company!
Wonderful experience with them fixing my bug. They took all the care to make sure that it was in the same condition that it was in when before it was wrecked. I can not thank them for the work they did on my car.
Everything about my experience was amazing. Fantastic communication, personable staff, courteous phone calls, explaining everything in detail and the repair speed due to needing my vehicle returned to me to take our scheduled family vacation was the absolute BEST! I truly appreciate you and I WILL return if services needed and I will tell everyone I know as well.
Most of the employees here are great. Teresa is amazing along with Sandra and their tow truck team. The problem is with Dayne, an estimator. It was clear I was just a number from the beginning. He was dismissive and clearly didn’t care about me as a customer. I paid out of pocket, my choice of course, for the repairs at over 11k. After I left Collision Repair, a part flew off of my car. I inquired about it and what we could do to fix this problem and Dayne and his technician pointed the finger at me. Dismissed! Again, most of the team was great. Now after over a month of repairs and 11k dollars, I have to buy a trim piece that I have never had an issue with all because Dayne and his technician couldn’t be bothered or wouldn’t take accountability.
After a terrible collision with a deer, the staff at Collision Repair fixed my car with limited hastles. The AC did not work once the weather got hot. The work was warantied and thebrepair team ordered new parts and made it right. Friendly people from the tow truck opporator, appointment maker on the phone to the mechanics team. I definitely recommend them if you need their type of services.
Update #2: 3rd day no car. I did get a call from Ricky explaining the situation. Today is going much smoother. As far as the glass goes i do have an unusual car and it's an issue to replace anything especially glass. I thanked Ricky for talking to me and letting me know what was going on. I should hopefully get my car back tomorrow.
UPDATE:: Dale the owner calls me. Instead of talking to me and finding out my side of the story. I was told to take down my post or he is not going to fix my car. I have used Collision Repair for years. This is the worst i have ever dealt with. They have no idea what is wrong with my car even after having it for days. NO ONE called me to say hey I am sorry but it's going to be longer than expected. Nothing. Make a post and now they don't want to even look at my car they have had for 2 days. I have known the Eaton's for years. Apparently that means nothing. I understand they are short staffed like everywhere else but common courtesy just went right out the window.
I had my car towed through AAA. The tow truck driver was friendly and prompt. Gave me high hopes. They said they would call me. I called at 4:45 friday afternoon. They said they would get me in first thing Monday morning. That didn't happen. I called Monday at 10am. They still hadn't gotten to my car. 1pm Monday. I called and they aren't sure what is wrong with my engine and THEY BROKE MY WINDOW. On top of whatever the engine is going to cost now I have to add $300. NEVER AGAIN!! No more Collision Repair for me!! Btw...still no car!!
First let me say the lady at the front desk that helped me was so rude.
Second I made an appointment to get an estimate for hail damage THAT I HAD NOT YET DECIDED TO FILE AN INSURANCE CLAIM ON. But was told I couldn't get an estimate because my insurance wouldn't take it. I am allowed to pay for repairs myself without going thru my insurance correct??? VERY DISAPPOINTED I used this place in the past and was very happy with the work but WOW is all I can say right now.
Collision Repair staff and workmanship to fix my vehicle after hitting a deer was great. The tow truck driver arrived at anticipated time and was very nice. They remained in contact about completion of the work and the car was in great shape when i picked it up. Thank you
Great concise communication from start to finish. The repair work is top notch. They even repaired a small imperfection in the bumper that was not part of the estimate. The only wait time was for parts to get in. When I picked it up, they had detailed the entire interior (including door jambs). Talk about above & beyond! Our vehicle looks better now than when we purchased it. Thank you again Collision Repair!
Awesome people!!! They have a wonderful team!! We broke down on the highway in the middle of the night and had our truck towed to this shop and these awesome people dropped what they were doing the next morning and went to work on our truck and the parts were hard to find and they stayed on it for two days. So we could get back on the road . I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone.

Our car repair was completed one day earlier than anticipated. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Their location is very easy to get to on Frederick. The quality of their work is first class. I was surprised to see that they had even cleaned the car's interior without being asked. I highly recommend Collision Repair Specialists.
Great car repair. I was able to call and ask questions really easy and got support from the team while my car was being painted for an insurance claim. I recently used Collision Repair Specialists with our StateFarm insurance claim after an accident. I never had to call for any updates or information. I received updates about every 2-3 days during the repair process. The staff is very friendly and professional. I knew exactly what was being completed, and what I needed to do during and after the repairs were completed .The repairs to our car was great! An insurance claim can be stressful, this company made it easy- simple as that! Highly recommended. We will have a 30-day follow up inspection another reason to trust this company!
All the staff members were polite and professional. Their estimate was lower than another one I received. The final cost did not exceed the estimate. They did a beautiful job of repair & paint matching. The car was ready on time. It was an excellent experience overall & I would gladly use them again.
Their towing service was dispatched through AAA. The driver called me prior to arrival and helped with arrangements to get my husband, 5 kids, and I safely off the side of the highway and to the motel we chose. Dennis was professional, sympathetic, he went above and beyond his job description. The driver sent a couple days later (after we found the repair was beyond our equipment) to tow it to Kruse Automotive, was just as nice and competent. They were a shining light in a very stressful time of being stranded during a family vacation. I would use and recommend their service again and again!!!

Man when I’m telling you that If it wasn’t for Joe and Karen taking care of my family and me we would of been up you know what’s creek. Seriously from the moment Karen heard my frustration she jumped in and showed me what the great folk at St Joseph can do. This one is one for the books and if you’re searching for a tow or a collision place look no further. They will have my business period. They work extremely hard and you can tell they pour passion, sweat , and tears into their business. 110/100 they went above and beyond!
Recently had my vehicle repaired after an accident. Everyone at Collision Repair was wonderful from the time I walked in the door. Until the time I picked my car up. I am very happy with the work that I received. The entire staff that I encountered was absolutely amazing all the time.. Even when I left some things in my rental car. They made sure I received them. Always professional and respectful. Driver Chris picked up my car and he was great. Their repairs are done the right way and they guarantee their work. Happy Customer! Covid has slowed the process of parts availability/delivery, but that is no one's fault.
Collision Repair Specialists was very helpful to the Scout program at Camp Geiger in St. Joseph, MO in 2020. They provided a van for the Scouts to learn Automotive Maintenance Merit Badge, which included changing tires, identifying hoses and engine components, learning about the vehicle's electrical system, and more. This was a great public service by a great local company.
Tldr; do not let them 'detail' your car if you care at all about your finish.
Full review; From first contact they were unprofessional and inattentive. My wife's car was side swiped while it was parked on the street overnight in front of our house. She had a place in mind she wanted to take it that she had had good experiences with before but after contacting progressive they recommended going with this place because it was on their list and would be an easier process insurance wise. She contacts them and we get everything worked out and we go in together to drop it off and they what they end up telling us is completely off from what they had initially told her. We decide we'll just try again another day because we were on our way somewhere and had just planned on dropping her car off and taking mine to our plans. Every time we dealt with them in person either the desk attendants were eating on their lunch breaks, or talking amongst themselves, ignoring their waiting customers which is very rude and unprofessional. Every time we called they had a friendly greeting but ended up giving us the run around saying the insurance company or the rental company gave us the wrong info and vice versa. On top of all this, the reason I went in with her the first couple times in the first place was to sign paperwork so she wouldn't have to come back in for anything since she would be at work during their hours. She ended up still having to come in and sign for the parts, because they 'showed up in her name'... What was even the point of having me sign the paperwork.
All of the bad customer service, I can usually deal with but my next complaint was the thing that REALLY got me irritated. When I saw the vehicle for the first time after the car got brought home, I was just getting home from work and it was dark. I quickly glanced over the repair and to my eyes it looked just fine. The thing that was off to me was it looked like they had attempted to 'detail' the car but did a really shoddy job. The first thing I noticed (in the dark) was the splotchy and still wet tire shine. I asked my wife if they had done something like wash the car and she said yes which I wasn't expecting. Had I known they were going to, I would have requested they not. A week or so later, I was riding in her car and saw it for the first time up close under lights. I was furious to find the whole car covered in swirls and scratches. The car never goes through car washes and is always had washed by me. I had just hand compounded and sealed the car before winter and there were only a few micro scratches here and there. The paint was in excellent condition before their services. You can even see one spot (pictured) where it looks like someone tried to dry rub a spot off the paint, rubbing grit into the clear coat and leaving tons of back and forth scratches. The glass was also very hazy, even after cleaning inside and out, like they cleaned it with a dirty rag and muddy water. Now I'm going to have to paint correct the vehicle to remove the scratches and swirls and clay the glass.
The only reason they get 2 stars is because the repair itself was fine... They get 1 star in every other aspect.
I just don't understand how a business that specializes is body work can let a vehicle leave their shop in worse condition than it came in.
Everyone here was very friendly and helpful. I had absolutely no issues with getting an estimate on my truck done and getting it repaired. Hertz was always very easy to work with and got me the rental I needed for the two weeks. They got my truck done early and cleaned it up, I was very pleased with the overall experience.
