I’ve trusted Ave Auto for years to take care of mine and my kid’s cars. They are honest, fair and do great work. They will do homework if they feel something should be covered by warranty or recall rather than just take my money. As a woman it’s hard for me to trust I’m not being taken advantage of on things I know very little about. I have never felt that way with Ave Auto and would recommend them to anyone!
I’m not a mechanic but I do simple things like my own breaks and oil changes. After doing my breaks one of my wheels was making a terrible noise. I called them and was pretty embarrassed but they took the car in within the hour, showed me where I made a mistake, were very kind to me and didn’t make me feel small for my mistake but rather complemented my other brakes. They then fixed it for a very small charge and showed me what not to do in the future. Very impressed by the professionalism and kindness I experienced.
they do great work but they never open in time tell you to be here at one time they show up 30 mins past from when there open when you got to be late for work it cost me money
It takes a lot for me to trust someone fully, especially with my personal vehicles. It takes even more for me to continually trust them for SEVEN YEARS and exclusively bring them my business. Avenue Auto is one of a handful of businesses I trust without a shadow of a doubt. They've always taken care of me, my family, and anyone I've ever sent their way. Every job I've brought them has been done effectively, efficiently and with the best service anyone could ask for. Never a shortcut taken. Ryan and Joe have worked long hours and have always gone the extra mile to ensure that our vehicles are safe and functioning properly even going so far as to fix something outside the scope of the job just because they already had their hands in it and because they care about their customers. Misti at the front desk is always a pleasure to talk to and does her best to accommodate you and your schedule into theirs. I will always recommend these guys to anyone looking for their vehicles to be maintained and fixed THE RIGHT WAY.
I took my car to Avenue Auto a week ago, and asked them to look over the engine and tell me if anything needed to be fixed. They called me and said that only the battery needed to be changed, for $375. I let them change the battery. The next day, I got my car back and drove it for 20 minutes, when it overheated and died. I called the auto shop and told them what happened. They said to bring it back in. A friend checked my engine before I brought it back in and showed me that there was a hole in my radiator. I brought the car back in. I waited three days for them to look at my car again, and when they did, they told me that I needed a new throttle body, which would cost me $850. I asked if they had looked at the hole in my radiator. They said they didn’t have a note about that, and that they would check it. I waited another day for them to look at my radiator, and when they did, they said it was the water pipe, and that it would cost $400 to fix. At this point, I had gotten other opinions and prices, and felt like they were just trying to get money out of me and didn’t respect me. I decided not to let them repair my vehicle. I do not recommend this auto shop.
Avenue Auto Sales& Service di a wonderful job on my son's car! They did alot work on my son's car and it didn't take them very long. They car runs much better. I would recommend them to anyone that needs an honest and reliable mechanic.
They are the Best!!! They will get all of my business. They treated me really good, especially their secretary!!! Awesome and fixed all the problems that needed fixed.
These guys are awesome! Recently had to switch mechanics because of a horrible unprofessional environment. These guys are professional, courteous, and do honest work. After switching to them my long list of car problems in and out the shop finally got taken care of! I recommend this place to everyone I talk to when they're looking to get their vehicle repaired.
I have an older car which typically repair services think they can get away with lying to you about how much is wrong with it. I checked it over myself pretty thoroughly before I ever took it in and got the expected feedback, they told me my battery was old. I wanted to take it to professionals just in case I really did miss something. My parents have been using them for years and always told me that there’s pretty much no other place out there who will be as honest as they are. They are very friendly and I will definitely be using them again in the future!
I’ve only just recently moved to MO and since the virus followed me into town, I've searched high & low for folks with that friendly Southern Hospitality. I get it, I'm not in OK any longer and I'm the outsider here but when I find my elusive prize I cling to it like a dog with a bone.
This dog found his bone at Avenue Auto!!! From the second you walk in and are greeted by a handsome fella named Rebel to check in with his kind and welcoming mother to the guys in the shop. Just good people doing what’s right by their customers.

I called Avenue Auto they got my car in the very next morning, was having issues with my steering making noise, they called me within a few hours to tell me to take it back to my dealership because it was under warranty, Want to thank Joe and Ryan for their honesty. I will surely be bringing my car back here if it ever needs to be serviced again.
These guys are awesome! Both times that I have taken my car to them, they were priced right and fair, explained the issue/solution very well, did the work in a timely manner, and they were friendly! We will be taking our vehicles to them for everything in the future.
At Avenue Auto you can be sure you can trust the mechanics to fix your car only if it is actually broke. They do top quality work and go out of their way to make sure you're satisfied they'll even run you home while they work on your car and come back and get you when they're done with it. They always call if there's more to be done and what they told you to make sure you want them to go ahead and fix it at the new cost. Ryan, Joe and Ken are Top Notch quality Brothers trustworthy and they keep their word I don't take my car no where else and I won't let no one else work on it while I'm not there but I will let them work on it while I'm gone. While I was living with my mom who has Alzheimer's and I had to be home most of the time for Mom like I said they would bring me home then they go back to fix my car when they was done they call me and say they were on their way to come and get me can't ask for better service these guys are the best Tom Dawson....
These guys are the best. They know what they are doing and they will always shoot straight. I can't tell you how many times they waived small fees or thrown in an alignment for free. These guys have the highest level of integrity I have seen in about any business. Worth every penny and will save you many dollars!

The front desk was prompt, fit me in during a busy day, and provided an impressive estimate. First-time customer and trouble-free brake and rotor replacement after two weeks. Newly used car had been in 3 states in 3 years. When asked about a speck of surface rust on the underside, the lead mechanic verified the exact origin and reason. No hassles, frills, nor excuses and would go back.
Honest and courteous. Treated me with respect and showed me exactly where the problem was. Great pricing on labor and parts. They didn't try to scam me or try to get me to buy something that was unnecessary. I will definitely be going back to them.
Avenue Auto took great care if my car. They originally quoted me a 2 hour service and had it done in way less time. The boys there are so nice and caring! Definitely would recommend!

My daughter broke down side of the freeway, did not know lucky for us in we were close to Avenue Auto. I would recommend this place to anyone while in St Joe. I was on my way to meetings in Lincoln and had to pick up someone in St. Joe. As I was pulling into town my car started acting up. I just happen to come across this auto shop from me googling it. I had to leave my car there for two days and get a ride from the person I was meeting to Lincoln. They got my number and called within an hour to tell me the problem and what it would take to fix it. It was a reasonable price so they fixed it and even serviced my car for free. I came back from Lincoln to a fixed vehicle and no worries. Super nice guys to deal with. So if your in the area and need help go see them.
These guys explain things in terms I can understand. They have always been very fair with us and reliable. When another shop gave us BS answers, these guys told us like it was. I really like that in a mechanic shop. Plus they don't mind my mess. lol!
