Just went in for an inspection with no issues. My car was in the inspection bay for a bit more time than the place I normally go to for inspections but if the list they have posted at the counter is accurate then the inspection they did was very thorough and not just to try and inspect it to pass. If your looking to buy a new car and have it inspected these guys will be thorough. They've also got a friendly cat that runs around the lobby to play with he jumped up on my lap while I waited. There was a lot of cars there but they got me in right in time for my scheduled appointment
Needed new fuel pump installed, shocks and radius arms, was promptly informed on the status of my vehicle and if there was anything going bad or needed replaced while being repaired. Stayed within my budget. Great all around experience. Thanks guys and gal!
Don't listen to these 1-star review people. It's hilarious to me how entitled they all are.
Listen, I really got into it with Dusty's mechanics, because they made a mistake working on my car. I was heated and so was the mechanic. I am not proud of my behavior.
Dusty was assertive, but reasonable. I was very impressed by his dedication to doing right by his customers, even when they are being complete a-holes like I was this morning. We had a discussion about the problem and came to a very amicable conclusion.
Communication is key in all things. Dusty will talk to you about any issue you have in a reasonable manner. The team might not be perfect, but they will make it right. Give these guys a try.
Also, they have a very cute kitten in the shop.
Dusty’s Auto is a Great shop to take your truck to I’ve had my interlocks calibrated here everytime and the service is amazing and the prices are low not high like everywhere else in town
Dusty’s offers Intoxalock services. They charge $40 for each calibration while other shops charge $20. They priced removal at $185 while other shops perform the exact service for $75. Please go elsewhere to handle intoxalock business, you can have Missouri done in other states even if it’s for Missouri, doesn’t matter. They are culturing off of people with limited options.
Took my car there when it wouldn't start up. They looked a it and said they couldn't find a problem but charged me 60 to run thru diagnostic. Well those diagnostics failed to find short in air leading to the battery? I found it an I'm no mechanic with computerized euip. Also I was told thy wouldn't get to it for a week but my car st intht shop almost three weeks and I obestly don't think they ever elooked at it. Never again.
Had ac/heater box replaced had vehicle 7 days supposed to take 1 day, when done ac still not blowing cold air said he didn't want to over charge it, took it back 4 more times cause ac blowing hot air and would cool for a few days then blow hot air air again, had to call them for updates, took it to a friend of ours who hooked his gauge up and the needle showed overcharged, guy says he released at least one can of freon, Dusty's only one who touched the ac, don't understand how they did not find this, luckily did not ruin anything and ac working great, done with Dusty's.
Dusty has been our mechanic for about 15 years, and I hope forever. Every experience has been positive, and he has been thorough and helpful; I feel that I receive great value for my money. I even buy my tires from him, and the last set were a better deal than I could find anywhere, even Sams Club. He and his team are busy, but that’s what happens when you’re the best!
Bad business. Told me theyd have my vehicle on lift same day or next morning. It took 2 full days. And I only finally found out what I was looking at because I called them, 10 minutes before the shop closed for the day. Only to be told 130 dollars for x amount of hours on a fairly simple wiring job. Hard pass.
Did a great job on my sons Jeep, fixed the problem with not extra problems found, came in 14.00$ under estimated cost, I think I just found my new mechanic.......job well done
wow... thats all i can say. rude and ill mannered and im not sure they should even be allowed to be in business. save your self the time and effort as well as the head ache associated with this sorry excuse for a repair facility. they are just one very good example of a poorly managed and operated business. would not let them touch my vehicle after seeing how their operation is ran. run away people... run away. its a shame it makes you give one star to a place just to write a review. i would have given them negative 5 stars
Had new tires put on a few days prior at Mark's Tire & Repair. I was told by Mark that I would need a lower ball joint replaced on the driver's side, which I had my mechanic do the next day. 4 days later I took it here for an alignment. My appointment was at 11 and they finally called me at 3:30. Dusty proceeded to tell me that I would need a passenger side ball joint replaced and my brakes were metal-to-metal. Funny how two previous mechanics, who could have made money off of the repairs, didn't tell me about them. Just because I'm a woman, don't assume I know nothing about cars. I've had him do alignments previously and never had a problem with them until now. Needless to say I'm done with Dusty's. And don't even get me started on Huffman's down by Hyde Park.
Dropped my vehicle off came back an hour past the time they said it would be ready and nothing! They had not even pulled it in the garage yet!!!!! half a day wasted . Save yourself the trouble go somewhere else.
