These guys are great! I couldn't find wheels anywhere for my 1997 Toyota; and I called and even went in to every tire place in town. They were the only ones who found them. They ordered them, put them on promptly and even changed the valve stems for me the next day, for free, when I realized I would have a hard time with the short ones. The wheels and service were very affordable and they were honest and professional. I can't recommend them enough.
What started as a bad encounter was quickly resolved by management and hopefully it was a lesson to staff on communication with customers regarding time frames. Walk-ins are welcome, but take it from me....make an appointment or be prepared to wait. Staff is friendly and Hunter was knowledgeable regarding what they had in stock and what my options were. Discounted tires were available to me at $98/tire (pretty inexpensive for my Chrysler 300 however I opted for better tire) so I suppose the name, 'Discount Tire' fits. Overall, a negative experience turned in to a positive one. Sometimes just making something right can make all the difference.
Took my car in for some brake work and a safety inspection. After all finished, they said everything was good to go, and the inspection passed. I put the safety inspection in my pocket as they bring my car up and I see that the passenger side headlight is out... I'm looking right at it. Also the car just sat there in the bay after they finished working on it for like a half hour while I waited for them to say something like, "We're done." I'm standing there looking at the car through the window and no one touched it for like 30 minutes AFTER THE WORK WAS COMPLETED.
Called and scheduled an appointment for an Odometer inspection so I can get my car registered. Appointment was for 2 and I sat there until 3:30. They finished up and said my inspection failed because of my third brake light being out. They weren’t even supposed to be doing a full inspection because my truck is exempt. Pretty much told me I’m out of luck and that’s what ordered, which it wasn’t at all. They never offered me a refund all they did was made me pay for a full inspection and offer to change my third brake light bulb out for $120. It’s four screws and a bulb….never going back there again.
Sunday morning, Tires Plus came to our rescue in St. Joseph. Heading up to Iowa for a funeral, my vehicle notified us that there was low pressure in a tire. We stopped and my husband could see a nail. Tires Plus was near by and got us fixed up and back on the road in a timely manner. Thanks for being a hero on a stressful day!!!
Tires Plus found another problem and fixed it when I went in to have a tire checked and tires rotated. Very friendly and efficient. They went the extra mile and thanks for that
They're also extremely kind to me, very fair and honest. I've been using them for family van repair for almost 15 years and i certainly have no intention of stopping. They treat you very well here, very accommodating.
PJ and the Manager come to my rescue and I was very grateful. They did such a great quick job with my wife’s tire thank you guys. Thank you for not just shoving me to the side and attacking the problem head on. I’m very thankful. I highly recommend this shop and these guys. There are shops in this town that will try to gauge you and take you and take advantage of women and anyone that needs help. Tires Plus is very professional and care about their customers I felt like I was family. They made my day and the wife is happy and all is well.
I had an unexpected issue. They got me in right away for an inspection, and within 2 hours my car was fixed. I am so thankful they could get me in and fix it the same day
If I could give this place a NEGATIVE 0-star review, I would. The hours on the door indicate they open at 7 am. We arrived at 7 am just to be told that the technician would not be in until 8 am. Why open at 7 am for your customers if you cannot provide them with service until 8 am? I called the "corporate office" and asked the same question, to be told I am not sure what to tell you. Tires Plus has lost my business for all of eternity. This company needs some serious help. Value your customers and maybe they will return.
Recently had a great experience at my local store in St. Joe. No I didn't get any special deals or treatment. What i experienced was a team doing their jobs. Manager Nick runs a tight ship, everyone was hustling and on top of that they were enjoying their day. Thanks for doing what you do!
Great place to take your car, got a tire rotation for the tires I bought from them about 3 months ago and a complete oil change. Seems like those take pretty good care of me
I called that morning to get in for a tire sensor change. I am not from St. Joe, but had an appointment that afternoon. I accidentally went to the wrong location, and was 20 minutes late to my appointment. I walked in, explained and apologized. The were friendly, fast, and priced well for my tire sensor replacement. I didn't realize they do so much more than just tires, and will be back.

We have always had good experiences with having our vehicle serviced at Tires Plus. Prices are competitive, the service is excellent, the quality of the products are well maintained, the showroom/waiting area is always clean and well-maintained, and employees treat customers with courtesy and respect.
I took my suv to tires plus for some work on my thermostat housing a few months ago and they claimed that the problem was that the bolts weren't tight enough. Fast forward to today and I took it to a different shop to have a new thermostat put on when I received a call from the shop informing me that the bolts on the housing were tightened so much that one of them was stripped and the housing was cracked, so instead of just getting a new thermostat, I now have to pay for an entire new housing. Tires plus just cost me an additional $114. Tires plus is completely overpriced and they can't even do their jobs correctly. We will not return to tires plus and will share our bad experience with anyone thinking of using them in the future.

Said they couldn't put a valve stem in my tire for 3 days. While they had one car in the shop and 2 guys standing around smoking cigarettes. Went to discount tire and had it done in 10 Minutes. Don't go to this place terrible service. Discount Tire will be my go to for now on. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Definitely not customer friendly.

Bought four new truck tires , and had to come back 3 different times . Twice because the new tpm sensors on the front tires wasn’t working. And 3rd time due to a vibration and was told my wheels were loose and they had to torque them tighter. I called again this morning because my driver side valve stem is leaking I’m on my way out of town and I’m told they can’t get me in until 3:30 this afternoon. 6/29/24. Terrible service! I live 20 miles away and have had to make 3 different trips for poor service.
Wow- what an incredible place! We had an emergency roadside problem with a stripped lug nut. These guys got our car in and inspected within the half hour. They had the part and we were in, out, and back on the road in less than an hour. Very grateful for their help, kind service, and quick timeline. Will recommend them in the future!
I compared prices with another local place my father recommended. Not only do they not do alignments, the price for tires were a little bit higher. After looking at the services and setting an appointment online, I was called to confirm said appointment and services requested. Unfortunately the tires I saw online were discontinued, but the person I talked to found me another brand around the same price and had them delivered to the site. My only complaint would be it taking 4 1/2 hrs to service my vehicle. Then again, that's why I schedule on a day off. Mechs were very friendly and really helpful. Overall very pleasant experience. Will definitely come back in the future.
Had to take my vehicle in for an emergency brake service, they got me in same day. The work was great & speedy. My brake pedal doesn’t seem as touchy or stiff, anymore but it could be the fresh lines of brake fluid. Tires Plus has always taken care of me, & has always treated me (& my vehicles) great! I’m not going to lie a few of my mechanic friends did tell me I was slightly over charged for overall service provided, but I actually don’t care bc everywhere else would have taken twice as long, maybe even multiple days, so paying more for quality expedited service, is well worth it!
