I wouldn't recommend taking ANYTHING to this place. I have on countless occasions pulled up and been told they were closed at 30 mins or an hr before posted time to close. Today for example I got here at 11:15 and the posted time they close is 11:30 but nobody is here gate is locked already.
Heads up everyone!!! The scrapyard is now ONLY PAYING TIN PRICES if it has any rust on it. No more short iron prices for anything rusty!!! Same,of course, goes for long iron! They changed to this around first of April, 2023. Maybe before, I just had not been in a few weeks. Still a great scrapyard with nice, helpful people.
This place will steal your money!! We took 2000 pounds of metal to sell . And they gave us Tin price they stole $2 per 100 pounds from us ! Don’t waste your time drive to meridian !!!
Been doing business with these guys for a while everyone is very nice the yard is clean unlike many other places I have been therefore no worries about nails in my tires and the scales are very clean and accurate as well. This is my go to place for getting rid of scrap metal! Highly recommend!
Since Covid closed the scrap yard for sometime, we here that do recycling were left without somewhere to take our metal. But, all good things come to those who wait. Ben, the manager, is the nicest guy and the men working there are friendly, super helpful and the place is so much cleaner and I worry so much less about running over something with my tires. I wish everyone would try and recycle. You get cash for your trash people! Make the effort, it’s worth the trouble.
