Easy to get in and out. Even when they are busy it’s still not a terrible wait time. Staff is nice and helpful. Iv brought probably twenty 3 ton loads over the last two years.
Found out they don't actually process the metal here. They buy it from you and then they resell it for what it's really worth. So you're only getting and half of what it's worth by going to these people, you could go to a regular recycler, that recycles it. And don't sell it again to someone else. You Can you double what you get here? That's why their prices are so low.
Always stays busy but have a friendly hard working staff that try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Usually pay the highest price for metal that is going to be recycled and reused.
Last time I will ever come here. It’s not that they do a poor job, but that somebody always treats me like I am the biggest inconvenience of his day. I shouldn’t have to anticipate being viewed as a juvenile delinquent every time I come to Nucor. Today was the final straw.
My husband brings scrap here once to twice a week. This is a nice way to make some $!
Essentially you driving in the "inbound" side to be weighed. Next, they take this scrap off and you then drive out of another side to be weighed again. This is how they know how much money you earned.
Bring in your junk metal , cans ECT.... Pull up on scale, get weight recite to where they tell you to go .... Heavy machines will unload your junk and then back to the scale get reweighed get slip and go to office turn into cash ....
