In a very stressful situation Simmons Towing provided the best customer service. When our car broke down in Livingston, AL the day after Christmas traveling from Tennessee to Texas; Wyatt was there to help us out. He was kind and even let our dogs ride with us to drop our car off at a shop in Meridian. He even made sure we made it safely to get a rental car. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were broken down on the side of I-20 about 40 miles east of Meridian when our motorhome “dropped” the drive shaft. Called Simmons Wrecker Service and was on our way back to Meridian within 2 hours. Our wrecker driver Joe was the most friendly and all of the staff in the office were friendly and helpful! Took us to get a rental car, and then helped us get back on the road this morning. If you’re ever in need of towing on the Meridian MS area, give them a call!
My sister was traveling through Livingston, AL and broke down. Travis came and got her, her dog, and 3 teenagers on a Saturday afternoon and dropped them at a hotel. He fixed the truck himself and got them back on the way the next day. He took great care of them and even called to make sure she got back to her home in Shreveport. Absolute Class Act. Kudos to Travis and Simmons Wrecker.

Great company! Great family! I lost a drive shaft on my 18-wheeler while driving through Meridian while loaded on a Friday evening this past October. I called and Heather answered the phone while watching her son play in a high school football game. A wrecker showed up within an hour and towed me to the local International dealer. I found out on Monday that International could not get me rolling till Thursday or Friday. Unacceptable with a load to deliver! I called Simmons back. They towed me to their shop, made the repair, and had me rolling at 6pm on Monday! Hats off to this company! I stood to lose a lot of money if my load was not delivered on schedule and thanks to Simmons, I made the delivery on time! I highly recommend this company. $450.00 for a tow less than 15miles. They had us over a barrel and knew it. It was a holiday weekend after 6pm but the excessive amount charged felt like extortion.

I highly recommend. My turbo went out in Tuscaloosa. This was the only wrecker company that would tow me back to Mississippi for under a thousand dollars. Mr. George was extremely professional and nice.
We where traveling back home to Baton Rouge
When we had a issue with a truck we where pulling a 43 foot 5th wheel
Now mind you we have Good Sam road side
We where broken down on the side of the interstate 9 miles from the closest exit
Good Sam left us sitting there for over 2 1/2 hour and still has not dispatched anyone to us
All the while 18 wheelers where speeding by us with no regard
I was in fear for my safety
At this point my husband called someone on his own Simpson
And they where awesome
There in 30mins the two young men where great they towed us to there yard
Where we met Ricky the owner (a lover of dogs 😘) they then took us to a RV park close by helped us setup
And to our truck the next morning to a great repair shop and they didn’t over charge us
They where just great and southern hospitality is not dead
And BTW Good Sam did not even call us back until 11pm and we broke down at 1:30
Simmons helped me out of a bind without damaging my equipment or load. Highly recommend them. Rates were fair all things considered. They didn’t just come and try to snatch me out, took the time to come up with a plan then executed flawlessly.
We were pulling a car trailer on the back of our Penske rental truck. One of the tires was rubbing against the trailer and shredding. The Penske rep sent out Simmons Wrecker Services to replace the trailer. Jake from Simmons Wrecker Services came out. He gave us very clear directions on how to unload and reload our car onto the replacement trailer. Jake was very friendly and professional. He made us feel safe again to continue our cross country trip to South Carolina. Thanks again, Jake!
Expedient show up time for heavy wrecker. Was towed into their shop where they fixed my truck the next morning at a very reasonable price. Excellent people and service. Would definitely recommend using them, and will.
These guys make the best of a bad situation nobody ever wants to get towed but if you do call Simmons they are reasonable realistic people and will do everything they can to help.
It pays to know someone. I have a Ram 5500. When I first called they were going to charge me $500. Called around for a referral. Price was $350. They got me out & towed within an hour of calling. And the guy who helped checked to make sure I was okay before driving away. Definitely appreciative 👍
They were very professional. Dotted every I and crossed every T. The price was less than the quote.
I sure wouldnt want to do that for a living. Too many drivers not paying attention to the road
The only thing I have negative to say about my experience is that on top of charging me $300 an hour for towing my RV, they charged $90 fuel surcharge to tow me 11miles!!!
The most fuel they used is 4 or 5 gallons!!
Someone you can trust when help is needed out on the road!! A strap got tied up between our truck and trailer and ripped out wiring and air lines. The owner answered the call at 3:00 am, sent a wrecker to tow the truck to his shop and took my driver to a hotel. The next day he dedicated 2 of his mechanics to get our truck fixed as quickly as possible and got my truck back on the road-same day so that we could get our load delivered! There’s not many people that you can trust in this business but these guys are amongst those few!
Me, my mother and my dog were making a cross country move in a 16ft moving truck and approx. 500 miles away from our destination the transmission just gave out and the truck literally would NOT go in any direction. Eric showed up first to look at the truck to see if he could fix it but ended up having to call a rollback. While we waited, Eric was super nice and kept us laughing. Once the rollback arrived, they loaded it up and the rollback driver, Joe, drove us to the hotel and was super polite and even helped me up and down from the truck and loaded my dog into and out of the truck. Both of these guys were amazing and I would recommend their service to ANYONE! Could NOT ask for a better couple of guys to help out!!
LAZY.
Called them when I was barley stuck 5 miles from their shop. They want $75.00 to pull me 4 feet. I didn’t have cash, and they wouldn’t take a card, (no problem) I asked if they could atleast pull me out and then take me to an atm and I’d pay double for the extra trouble. He said that was too much work. Then I was told that he would try to get ahold of someone for me. 2 hours later still nothing. Lucky my boss drove the hour drive to pull me out his self. I feel that even if the motorist in need doesn’t have the cash they could atleast take them to get cash when they are trying to be honest and pay double for the trouble that they should still help. It called decentsy. Would not recommend this service.
This is the kind people that really make difference when you call asking for help, I was on a really bad situation with a 26ft box truck, They work hard to remove my truck from a ditch.Extremely professional, friendly guys . The guys that run this company are awesome! From the picking us up from the side of the road to the wrap up of our business with them, our experience was nothing short of excellent! We are from out of town and had to call them with several inconvenient requests. They were very friendly and caring throughout the entire process! They also covered our vehicle with a tarp (as it was very rainy) to keep our belongings that we were unable to get out at the time of the wreck dry. It was also a holiday weekend and they opened just for us! My family and I cannot say enough about Simmons Wrecker Services! I highly recommend them to anyone!!!
