My first visit to TGK Automotive St. Michael to get the Tires Rotated on my SUV. A very friendly and welcoming Staff. They got me in right away. The cost for services rendered was more than fair. I was treated very well… Requested to get in on short notice and they accommodated and checked out some minor details on a fresh car purchase that I most appreciated! It was able to set my mind at ease.

I called on Monday September 22nd because I had a right rear passenger tire that was flat. I was asked when I could bring it in and they said we will see then. I arrived and was greeted by Patrick.

This was out 1st time visiting TGK Automotive and it was for an oil change. The gentleman at the front desk was upfront and honest about there price going up due to oil prices going up and I appreciated that and I let him know that everything is going up. They were extremely nice, polite and timely with my oil change. The gentleman at the front counter was great as we talked to each other the whole time about kids and where we were both from since we just moved to St Michael. Our family will not be going anywhere else for our Automotive needs as we have found a home here now at TGK Automotive in St Michael. Thanks!

Discovered my spare tire was missing Thursday afternoon—total panic with a road trip leaving Friday morning. The team at TGK didn’t flinch: took my vehicle details, sourced the exact spare from their supplier, and had it delivered and mounted first thing Friday AM, ready before I even finished my coffee. Incredibly quick, super accommodating, and zero stress added to my day. Saved the trip and my sanity—thank you!

My experience was the best that I've ever had with any shop. I really couldn't afford to pay for get all so the tech told me about the financing and I was approved. He went above and begun for me. I will never go any place else to get my car serviced and I will tell everyone about this.

Went in for an alignment and binding and popping noise coming from the front end. The alignment came out great and they took the time to figure out the noise issue. They were able to find the noise that nobody else could find and fixed it. The young blonde female (sorry i didn't get her name) is fantastic and takes her time to get your vehicle done right. Will definitely go back for future work. Everyone there is great to work with.

I cannot thank enough the team for being so honest. I thought my car had a minor bearing issue, ended up being differential. Not only they recommended going to the dealer to claim warranty, they explained the risks of doing that service out of the dealer and recommended in the worst case scenario to get a quote and compare with TGK. Amazing to have this level of honesty!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this place. I brought my car in for what should’ve been a straightforward diagnostic. I was hit with a bill that was nearly double the estimate—without any prior communication or approval. Better option down the street at Bernings where it was $1000 over there to replace the part then at TGK with a $2500 price.

Great service. Had a very sneaky sound coming from one of my wheels. You got me in and out back on the road within a hour. You found a rock stuck between brake pad and rotor. Thank you for fast and great service.

Took my car in for an oil change and to look at why my brakes were scraping. Was told everything looked good and my brake pads were in great condition. After a week the scraping got so bad that I had them look at it again. Turns out my brake pads were completely worn out after being told a week earlier that they measured great. Clearly they never actually measured the brake pads in the first place. Never trusting TGK again

I have never written a review but I feel the need to for this place, the guys at the counter are good to deal with but everything else not so much. I have brought several different vehicles there giving them second chances. They tried to charge me for the high end parts while listing the part numbers for the low end parts. The labor charge is double some other places. I have brought in a vehicle for an oil change and tire rotation paid and left only to realize the tires were never rotated. Please look over your receipt and get a second opinion before having them do work.

I’ve never taken the time to write one for them yet but have been a long time customer. I cannot say enough great things about TGK and the staff there! They’re always professional and courteous and on top of any repairs and service requests we need!

Went to another auto shop before this one for issues with my o2 sensor, after a diagnostic there they were ready to charge me $500 to replace it. TGK looked at my engine and told me it was simply unplugged, fixed the issue without charge and sent me on my way in 20 minutes max. Absolutely awesome service.

I came in to get a tire changed not too long ago, I called them up and they were quick to schedule me I didn’t have to wait very long to get an appointment in. They were super speedy and quick after driving the car it drove flawlessly no problems found. Their pricing was fair and it seems like they try to keep prices as cheap as they can. Here’s the best part I recently hit an opossum with my car causing my skid plate to come loose and prevent an oil change or any future fixes on the bottom of my car. I called them up looking to see how much it would cost to get it popped off cause I don’t have the correct materials at home and with being a recent customer they chose to take the skid plate off for me completely free. It’s clear they care for their customers and this establishment is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to again.

Staff was so friendly and accommodating! They were quick and did a fantastic job. I really appreciated the report emailed to me after the initial work because it helped me decide to extend my vehicle's stay for a little more work, but also assured me the rest of the vehicle was in good condition!

I recently visited - TKG Automotive, St Michael, Mn - for an oil change. What an absolute joyful experience. Jon was efficient, professional and knowledgeable. He also helped me breakdown/understand important codes and what I may need be aware of getting fixed next time. Patrick was patient and detailed at looking up parts I needed for my vehicle. Amazing service at more than fair pricing. Extremely nice waiting room with free coffee. The owner actually waits on you and they text and email the progress of your service along with pictures. They fully check out your vehicle and notify any potential needed repairs. Absolutely np high pressure to get things repaired. I will never go anywhere else after the experience I had.

Taylor and the rest of the staff are FANTASTIC!!! I completed a 2.5 lift and Taylor got my tires from Omaha so quickly!!! This was the best referral! Thanks fellas!!! Great communication and I love the txt messages and pics keeping me up to date with the work!!
