Brought some engine parts to Motor Parts Winona for machine work. They were very helpful, and provided an incredible service. I was super impressed with the quality of the work. Will continue to do business with these guys for years!
Great shop and friendly, knowledgeable people. Needed a smaller amp fuse for my phone charger on my motorcycle trip. Love to shop local when possible since those guys tend to take pride in their work. These guys were no exception.
I was lied to and deceived. Spent $800 on golf cart batteries and and a month later my cart wouldnt run. The owner tested it and said it was bad due to put in wrong. Wouldnt exchange it. Found out later that if this was so it wouldn't have ran at all in west place. 6 months later I returned to store and called him out on it. I got a new battery free. So he outright lied to me . I will never set foot in this store again.
Went to motor parts and equipment to look around to see if they had any tools that I would need for my auto body tech program that I'm enrolled in they had a few things that were in my price range and then a student discount on top of that made it even better staff was awesome very friendly couldn't ask for a better experience than a parts store be honest with you I will be going back and I will be spending more money there
I attempted to purchase windshield wipers for my car with my sister. She was helped first. Nobody even offered to help me. The sales rep. that spoke with her was rude and condescending. She corrected him about his attitude and treatment of her before we left refusing to purchase anything. They proceeded to laugh as we were exiting the store. My sister had to stop and tell them to "keep laughing" just to shock them out of their abhorrent behavior. I will never shop there again. I would suggest that others don't shop at this place either.
Sold me a bad part that they would not stand behind. Forced to buy an additional (same) part at a dealer rate when the Motorparts junk decided to die (30 days old) while I was 300 miles from Winona. Bad business experience; they did promise to buy their junk back however.
Absolutely outstanding business. The customer service is second-to-none, and they have more parts in inventory than you could possibly imagine. Don't have to worry about waiting on parts from this group!
Friendly, advising staff. They usually have what you need in stock. Willing to ship and do returns at your closest location. Loyalty/ service discounts available for account holders.
These guys are the best. If they don't have what you need same day, they can order it for you. Dealt with AJ many times and have always had a great experience. Don't bother going to anywhere else but these guys. You would be hard pressed to find anyone better than Motorparts.
The most competent and knowledgeable parts store I have ever been to! They have the largest inventory in my opinion, of any parts store in the river valley! Also have a machine shop in the same store, which can turn and resurface rotors of your disk and brake drums, rebuild your starters, flywheel in your transmission, and so much more! I have been working on vehicles for over thirty five years, this is the only parts store I have been to that is of this caliber anywhere!!! AAA+
Extremely helpful and professional. If they don't have the part in stock they can get it the next day. Only place in town were your able to get hard to find parts for older vehicles
MPE is a great auto parts store. The prices might be a little bit higher than "Autosuck", but it's worth it. They have a much larger variety than other parts stores, and better brands (in my opinion). Their customer service is top notch, for the most part..... At the Winona store, watch out for the tall bald guy. He gave me the worst service I've ever had in this store, and he sold me the wrong part claiming it was right. One of those auto store guys that acts like he knows everything and talks down to customers (even though the customer might know more about his/her own vehicle)! Honestly, he should be kept in the office and away from customers. I just avoid him and speak with any of the other good and honest employees. That's why I give 4 stars.... can't let one employee ruin a good store.
The tall bald guy there is completely stupid. He is one of those guys that has no idea what he is talking about, but tries to sound confident and talks down to other people like they are wrong for not making sense (more like him not being able to comprehend). In the end you are left with people who don't know a lot about cars given bad advice that they spread to other people. Anyone who has any automotive knowledge can spend 5 minutes with him and see that he is full of garbage. No surprise he will spend his life working in a parts store though I feel he would be better off working some where like McDonalds - at least when he sounds stupid and makes mistakes there, he won't stand out so much.
MPE is the place I always go for parts for my vehicles. They don't always have the lowest of low prices, but I think the staff is the MOST knowledgeable. They are also a local business which is a plus for me, I want to keep my money local.
