Love these people. Every time I feel so respected. I will not go anywhere else and I always tell my family about this place. Have bought 5 car's and all are great. You guy's rock

If you are ok with dents in a car, you can get an incredible value here. I have three daughters who bought cars here and all three have been awesome experiences.

Sells only salvage title cars with hail or water damage. I think they come with a one year warranty. Some good deals to be had on late model cars, if you don't mind the damage. Inventory seems to turn over quickly, so don't count on a car being there if you come back a week later.

Ing and Rick in service are both poor workers and do not care to comprehend the problem you’re having. The bumper to bumper warranty does not cover crap, because they never bother to actually fix the problem. I got my newest car over three months ago now and am still getting the pieces fixed written out in an IOU letter. I have worked with this dealership since February of 2024 and have nothing good to say about anyone except the ladies at the front desks. I’ve gone back and forth trying to get things fixed and have gotten nowhere.

The place is awesome. You have your choice of a getting a vehicle you want. They have a big yard with huge number of auto vehicles mechanically checked and cleared before you pick up your choice. Fair prices

My daughter and I had a mostly positive experience finding a new vehicle. The young woman who works at the front desk at East Side is terrific. Her customer service skills are definitely top notch.

Trunk was FILLED with glass. I'm supposed to believe this car was detailed except it so OBVIOUSLY was not. So if it hasn't been detailed has it also not been checked mechanically? Of course it hasn't which is why the throttle has a 3 second delay making me think the floor mat is getting in the way, nope just really dirty engine. I can tell this place once was a good place to buy cars. Not anymore though. I was told vehicle was totally gone through mechanically and had been detailed and was 100% ready to go for me to look at the following day. I show up and search the lot for 20 minutes only to find out the salesman took the vehicle the night before and was going to be almost 2 hours late to work. So I drive 45 minutes home. Come back later and the car is filthy. I'm trying to decide if I want this car and I can't see anything because it's totally covered in salt and road grime. You are better off just going to an auction yourself which is where they buy their cars from. I got a really good deal on a car though but it takes time. If you need a car today this is the place to go but if you want to save a lot of money just buy straight from an auction yourself.

Bought a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Camry 6 years ago easy transaction no issues cash and carry. Come back decide on a Acura for my daughter say it'll take a couple weeks I called multiple times never heard back went a different route heard back after 4 weeks via text we'd already moved on. Something's changed over the years very different experience this time versus previous experience.

This is the best used car shop in twin cities. No pressure, honest ppl, and quick services. Thanks to their staff, I was able to purchase the car I wanted for a reasonable Price. If you have patience and a good eye, thier selection should suit you.

Great place to buy a hail or flood damaged car. They honor their warranties and have a lot to select from. Good customer service especially the women in the office and the Asian guy that was working at the service desk

These guys seriously seem like scammers - they took my deposit but won't give me my car and won't call me back. A month ago I put a deposit down on a car that they needed 2 weeks to get ready. I call 2 weeks later and they say it's not ready. I ask to arrange a pre-purchase inspection and they say "sorry, no, not until we do the in-house inspection." Weird that you won't let me do an inspection after I've put my deposit down, but ok. I call another week later during business hours and no one answers, no one returns my call. I call another week later during business hours, no one answers, no one returns my call. If the owners are reading this, for the love of god - please give me my deposit back so I can go buy a car from someone who will actually sell one to me.

The sales team was very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to purchase from them as my bank would not give me a loan for a prior salvage title, but I would still recommend checking them out! They have great deals on nice cars. If I weren’t strapped for time before the holidays I would have tried going through another credit union.

Expert sales team and great customer service. They always have such a great range of inventory of re-titled vehicles, reclaimed after flood or hail damage. It's an earth-friendly and affordable way to buy an automobile. Highly recommend!

I really debated whether I should leave a review, but I decided that this might provide useful information about how employees are trained. I recently bought a car from this auto shop. I like to explore my options and be meticulous in my decisions, so I ended up visiting three times before finalizing the purchase. During the first two visits, I was with my brother and dad, and everyone was respectful. On the final day, my dad and I went to pick up the car we had decided on during our previous visit. Here's the issue: We were told the car would be ready by Saturday. To allow extra time, we showed up on Monday, only to find out the car still wasn't ready. Not wanting to come back again, my dad and I discussed whether I should choose one of the other cars I had considered. As a result, my dad and I went to the back lot to look at more vehicles. While we were examining the cars, a salesman (who had male pattern baldness—I didn't catch his name) approached us. We inquired about one of the vehicles, as it didn’t have the price or year listed. The man responded, and I quote, "This is a Nissan Rogue... do you guys even know what kind of car you're looking at?" He proceeded to talk down to us as if we were worse than dirt. Excuse me, but aren't we customers like any other? Do you treat all customers this way, or just visibly Muslim ones? The irony is, my dad owned an auto shop back in our home country and knows more about cars than this guy ever will. I honestly almost walked out, but the young lady, Ravyn (I might be misspelling her name), was extremely kind. It's because of her that I'm giving two stars. Please treat your customers better and train your salesmen to do the same. The way we were treated was absolutely disgusting.

Some companies offer warranties and then try to weasel their way out of them when things go wrong. East Side Auto does the opposite. They repaired two problems that showed up during the warranty period with no hassles. This is a quality company. Integrity is clearly a value to them. I highly recommend East Side Auto.

I strongly advise against visiting this dealership and purchasing any cars from them. In my opinion, they deserve a rating below zero stars. The vehicles they sell are all damaged, and the dealership is not honest about the mileage. If you plan to spend a significant amount of money on a car, it is better to buy a certified one with no issues. Most of the vehicles I checked had hail damage and should be considered salvageable. The car I was interested in showed a mileage of 41,000, but the actual mileage on the title was 105,000, which needs to be corrected. Furthermore, they make copies of your driver's license when you visit, which is not a common practice in car dealerships. It is best not to give them your driver's license because we don't know if they could sell your information. It is better to avoid this dealership altogether, but if you decide to purchase a car from them, do so at your own risk.

I would highly recommend this place for purchasing a car. Keep in mind, they are salvage titles, but with research and questions, you can easily find out what happened to the car and if it is a smart option for you. The team there is professional and not pushy, they were very helpful with my purchase (first car purchase). Also, if you have another car place check it (Firestone, etc) and bring the report back, they’ll double check it for you and help with the repairs. I would recommend this place for purchasing a car.

Very disappointed in this shop. I found a car my wife and I were excited about. Very well priced car with a lot of hail damage. After we picked it out, we were told it’d need a week to prepare and get “inspected”. We got the car a week later. Second day driving the car a belt snapped while driving, not sure if AC or serpentine. Had to tow the car to a mechanic. But seriously surprised this happened if it took that long to “inspect” the car. I’ve called and left 3 voicemails and haven’t heard anything back. They apparently offer a 60 day engine and transmission warranty. Doesn’t seem like they’re respecting the warranty. I’d recommend not buying here and buy off of Facebook marketplace. You get the same results but cheaper.

I have purchased many vehicles from east Side and they have all been near perfect! They do an amazing job! The most recent vehicle I got from them i bought for the pastor at our church. And the only reason I am including that is because throughout the process they knew who it was for and the interior new, exterior perfect! Engine drive train perfect. It far surpassed our expectations and it made a good, good man cry it was so beautiful when the were done. Thank you all at East Side! Glory goes to God but the five stars go to you!!

If you are looking to save money and don't mind a salvage title check out East Side Auto. They have good selection of vehicles at different price ranges. Great place to find a starter car for a new driver.

They have some nice cars there, most with lower milage, and at a lot better price than a regular dealership. As with any where else test drive, ask questions, make sure any requests are done, bring a mechanic with you or bring it to your mechanic on your test drive if you question their work. They're straightforward on why the vehicle is there and what work they have done to it. Bought my truck in March 2021, it's a 2020 with less than 3k on it!! It has a salvage title with some hail and water damage. I had gone there several times to see what was in their inventory. Vehicles get purchased quickly so if you want it or like it put the standard $300 down. I was told the truck was ready to go right away, however I did have to return it for them to get the glass out of the back seat, door trim, and behind the cab. They also needed to strip the interior and dry it out since the mildew smell was getting worse and I checked under the floor, it was almost dripping wet. I was given a loaner for the week it took them to clean and dry the truck. After that it has been a great vehicle! At almost a year afterwards and 18k miles I did bring it back due to an odd vibration, which ended up just me driving too slow when it was switching from Eco to Regular. The mechanic also noticed my front passenger seat belt was messed up, my large dog chewed through it, and offered to fix it for me at cost; which I gladly accepted! I will definitely purchase another vehicle from East Side, probably in a few years when my son is old enough to dry.

Excellent place to buy a vehicle. The prices are fair. The people super nice. I got a great deal on my car, I'm really happy with it. I would definitely go there again. Check it out.

Their customer service made it feel like we were old friends. And the price was so low that I'd swear they weren't making money off of it. Overall it was a good experience. They helped us line up financing with a local credit union, and their good relationship with them made the process quick and easy. We needed a car in a hurry, so we weren't able to browse for weeks and see the new arrivals. But we did manage to find a couple vehicles that fit our price range and needs. It was no hassle to take them for test drives and then line up a mechanic's inspection. We were able to bring it to our mechanic in NE Minneapolis and have them give it a good once over before we settled on anything. Everyone we worked with was patient and willing to help, even when they weren't able to take care of it themselves, they were quickly able to direct us to someone that could. Just a note that every car here is a salvage and will have damage. They were upfront about everything they had found wrong with it and detailed it all for us when we found one we liked. Aside from the mechanic we took the vehicle to, they also have to complete inspections in order for a bank to approve a loan. They make every effort to ensure the vehicles they sell are in working order.

Came with some electrical problems I ran into after purchasing a car. The crew was super helpful and fixed all the problems. Was worried about waiting here but the couches are comfortable and with wifi, Allowing me to get others things done, like writing this review. They didn't have me wait anymore than 1 to 2 mins

Everything about this place is great. Superbly cheap cars (most are salvage title from hail damage) so you don't haggle or BS- you can either buy the car or not! The staff there is super friendly and super knowledgeable. You can go to the lot and test drive any car you want, which lets you try out stuff you might not normally check out. I walked away with a killer deal on an amazing car. I'm recommending everyone I know to get their car at East Side.

Bought a car at East Side Auto about a year ago and so far no problems. Good value, good price. Also, transacting the car sale was by far the easiest one I had ever done. Great support staff. I really took the time to scrutinize the car inside and out, top to bottom. (I was under the car a couple times looking things over). Customers have to remember these cars were previously compromised in some way before they purchased and restored them. I think they did a good job restoring the one I bought but if you are an idiot about cars and don't know what to look for, you may want to try other places or bring someone with you who really knows what to look for. Paul, my sales guy, was forthright in answering questions. Before buying this car I drove other cars and on some he wanted my opinion in case anything needed to get checked out. Seemed like he was looking out for customers 'cause he wanted them to have a good experience. I don't think you should expect that from everyone; although, all the staff seemed to be genuinely friendly and helpful, but that is why I say if you haven't taken the time to educate and understand what to look for bring someone with you that does to help ensure you have a good experience too.

Just had a great experience with the folks at East Auto. Yes, they deal in salvage titles. Yes, they are upfront about it. That would explain why they're so busy! We were able to take a very long test drive to our mechanic 45 minutes away! We originally saw the vehicle two days ago, but weren't able to get a mechanic's appointment until today. A $300 check deposit was all it took to hold it for us for a few days. It was a sleet and snow day, and the wiper blades were wearing, so we stopped at a store for replacements (we assumed we would be going home with the truck and safety comes first!) Although we ultimately decided against purchasing the vehicle we test drove today, they happily handed our check back AND gave us cash to repay us for the wiper blades! Who does that?! These guys! We found the whole group of people to be upbeat, in good moods, and genuinely concerned when our mechanic found an additional issue they were not previously aware of. We will continue to search their inventory, and would do business with them again, as well as happily recommend them to anyone.
