was quoted over the phone a completely different price. once i wasted an hour driving there he wanted 100 bucks more and began lying to me talking about this part was only used for factory testing and I had to pay the original quoted price to get it. the threads on said part were full of grime and told a completely different story. furthermore he pulled up a drawing of the factory part and tried lying to me again saying ld have to purchase each line item individually for almost 1300 bucks despite line item 1 being the whole drawing and complete assembly price for again half of what he was trying to convince me of. glad it's been a claimed slow year for him wouldn't be mad if the doors closed over that service. do better ya con

Absolutely satisfied with the service I received! He’s extremely knowledgeable and is quick to make sure that even if he doesn’t have what’s you need to help you figure out where you can get it from for the best deal! 10/10 will continue to come back!

Tons of inventory but bottom line he is just trying to separate you from your money, doesn’t matter if it’s the right part for you because if it’s not he won’t work with you to make it right, I called and so did my dad and he gave me the run around then gave my dad a completely different story.

Original post: Purchased defective (new unopened) parts and Harlan's wasn't willing to work with me to make it right. Ate the cost myself. Will not be back, don't recommend. Reply to Harlan's: I spent close to $100 at the shop that day. Harlan's only had 2 of the 4 items I was looking for, and what I bought I knew I could find cheaper elsewhere. But I believe in buying local. The "new" hood latch kit looked to be as old as my sled (1999); it was clear it has spent years on the shelf. I was told nothing about half price (paid $22, Dennis Kirk carries for $11.40). The plastic cup cracked before the rivet tail was even fully pulled in. I was not told to use bolts in place of the rivets that come with the kit. I didn't ask for money back, I asked if he had an extra cup (piece that broke) because I had already drilled holes specific to this kit in the hood of my sled. I was told "sold the last 4 kits to a guy the other day" and that he was not ordering more until next year now. He said he was not responsible for the defective part because he "can't control what these companies send me". He said no returns and no store credit and "I don't know what to tell you". I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.
