Called and spoke with an employee named Nicole to verify if they had a product physically in the store. Was countered with an extremely rude attitude when asked to put hands on the product. It was not available in store as shown on website and after I asked to have it ordered in I was met with increased anger. The call ultimately ended up with me being aggressively hung up on by Nicole. I will never use advance auto parts again. Word of advice to Nicole. If you hate your life you should chose a career path other than customer service.
I went to Advance Auto Parts on Penn, and Misty helped me find coolant. She explained what to look for on the container and how to put it in my car, all without making me feel stupid! She was so nice! I complained about my recent trouble with mechanics and asked her for local recommendations, which she happily provided. I'll definitely go back there if I need anything else!
Alexis was incredibly helpful in replacing my car battery. It's a BMW that requires a battery-registration process with specialized equipment, and he was able to deal with that too. This saved me over $100 from needing to purchase that equipment myself (BimmerLink app + compatible OBD2 adapter), and more than $200 vs having my local BMW shop do the work (Orr Autosport). Beforehand, I tested the battery to confirm it was bad and made sure it was easily accessible by removing the cover, and he took care of everything from there.
Nicole was very rude and unwilling to help. Seemed irritated i was there asking for help only thing she suggested was going somewhere else. Oh well she did sell me a crossbar for 30 and made sure to tell me if it was used even to tighten 1 lug it was then no refundable. lol well I read they return policy and it says something different. Take a look. (People I just had a couple lugs loose and my tire was potentially going to fall off while driving and no one seemed to care or want to help in anyway.)
Environment was calm and quiet, and the store was organized well. I got a bit overstimulated in the Autozone on Lake so that was a nice difference. The employees there were very friendly and helpful.
Went to the Roseville store for a part that was not in stock. Made a special trip all the way down to the Richfield store only to be met with a sign on the store that said "closing early sorry". This was at 5:00. The store should have been open until 9.
Great auto parts place. My shop almost exclusively uses them and for good reason. In stock, on time, and ready to go. They stand by their warranty and go the extra mile to help out their repeat customers. Mine and hopefully you go to place for parts.
recently visited for changing my battery which was under warranty. Was attended and provided the new replacement battery quickly. Learnt that this location doesn't change battery but provided information on nearby mechanic who does it and are in contract with this store where I finally got my battery changed. Overall very satisfied with the customer service.
Super friendly people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond the minimum to help me multiple times. 10/10 I will definitely be back.
8:17 on a Saturday. Online it says open. On the sign it says open at 8:00. My windshield wiper broke and it’s raining. Waited 5 minutes knocked on the door. Very very closed.
I bought my last battery from advance and it crashed while still under warranty. First went to advance to have them check the battery and was told my starter was bad. Took it in to my mechanic and was told my starter is fine and battery is shot. Also took it in to interstate battery and they confirmed my battery was shot. They explained the device advance auto parts uses to check batteries is notorious for giving bad readings. Called 3 different advance auto parts and explained the situation and they refused to honor warranty.
They were great and very helpful. Didn't have the exact item for my model vehicle, but did have a generic replacement that did the trick. They told me that would probably be the case up front and I appreciated their honesty.
Excellent staff, and parts availability. Anytime they didn’t have something I needed, they were always able to have it the following day.

During business travels; piloting our F-250 Project. We where slowed to Pit location of the nearest Brick and Mortar Automotive Parts Vendor. Fact being we lost a serpintine drive belt tensioner. Expected small repair on this work horse. To the surprise we are welcomed with a early close. Lights off; door locked. As a knocking that made cents we connected with O'Reilly's. As a long time network resource and solution. Able to not only supply part that was needed. We recieved First Call treatment equipped with tools and a 16 minute delivery time.
Assisted by the parts technician we both found it ironic that the Pit repair was in a industry cohorts parking lot. As we wrapped up repairs; decision was made to influence a service improvement by way of measure.
(Improvement is made by competition challenge) So we did a burn out do to speak. End game is both vendors did their part. So thank you for the slot for repairs Advanced Auto Parts. Hopefully you will find ways to get the checker next run.
Says they close at 8:00. Showed up at 7:00 and the guy told me they’re closed for holiday hours. I’m writing this mid feb. so the holidays are very over. Also, change your hours on here if you close early.
A awesome guy named Kirk helped me instal my new wiper blades even though I didn’t purchase them there! This is a great place and the employees really look out for their coustomers! I will be doing all future business here :)
I stopped in 20 min to closing time and was helped immediately by Jason. He found the parts I needed on the computer within 20 seconds of me telling him and price matched a part for me without hassle. I was truly impressed with his knowledge of the system and the store. Excellent value, excellent service, definitely recommend.
