I got into an accident and totaled my vehicle at 6:30am. I started looking online, found a great car at a great price. They helped me finance through a credit union and I drove off the lot by 11a. Attentive sales people and good customer service!

Never go here! Rude associates especially the one in “sales/finance” had to grab the business just for this. Wouldn’t acknowledge a true buyer, humble this guy all I have to say.

Really happy with my car and even happier with the service, Max was great in explaining and showing me the vehicle I was interested in. Knowledgeable and honest dealership.

You will regret buying a car from them. Speaking from experience, I've spent over $3,000 on repairs in just two months. Their customer service is terrible, and I feel like they were dishonest with me. I strongly recommend going somewhere else.

I recently bought a car from this dealership. The day I bought it was relatively smooth and straight forward. But I was quickly disappointed with the customer service. The first red flag I noticed was that their website does not denote anywhere that the majority of the vehicles sold here are salvage titles. It is only under a select few vehicles on the website that they disclose the salvage title, which you will not see unless you view each and every car on their website. It wasn’t until I was signing the paperwork that I noticed in small print on one of the pages that the vehicle was a salvage. It just seemed suspicious and icky to me. That was just the beginning, after I brought the car home was when the main issue I have comes into play. I did not receive my plates and title until almost 7 weeks after I bought the car. All the while I heard nothing from them. I called the license plate and title line 3-5 times over a 3 week period. I left 3 or 4 voicemails asking for an update on when my plates and title would be coming. They never responded to the messages I left. It wasn’t until I called the sales line (where an actual person answers, not an automated message like the title and license plate line) that I was able to speak to someone about my issue. Lo and behold, after getting in contact with this sales person, my plates and title came within 3 days. The lack of communication and responsiveness was very disappointing. The car I bought was fantastic but the customer service post buy was horrible.

I would NOT recommend this “dealership “ to anyone who wants to buy a vehicle. This place buys junk cars from the car auctions and flips them for big dollars by barely fixing anything. Last week; I stopped by to look at a Toyota Camry 2020 because it looked very nice online( on pics). When I got there; the same vehicle had so many issues, the engine was ticking( timing chain issues) had no A/C , the alignment was so bad, the car was leaking oil underneath and was shaking. I was like absolutely not. I retuned the vehicle and talked to the guy in the office about those issues, he responded by saying, well, we sell Used cars, what do you expect ? He said if you want t buy it great if not I will find another buyer who won’t question my vehicles or doesn’t know about cars ?, I laughed and left this place, never again will even test drive their broken cars!!! Be careful don’t get scammed!

Wish I could give this place negative stars. My family and I drove 7 hours to see a vehicle after confirming everything the night before. I was told I’d be the first person in the morning to view it and that no deposit was needed. I even confirmed I’d arrive “around 10 a.m.”, and was reassured no one else was scheduled to see the vehicle until the afternoon. We arrived at 10:14 a.m., only to be told the car was already out for a test drive—and within the hour, it was sold. We wasted the weekend, paid for 2 hotel rooms in Minneapolis to see this vehicle. It turns out another salesperson had tipped off a local customer that someone (me) was coming from far away, and that person swooped in before I even arrived. No one informed me that there was someone else seriously interested or that the vehicle might not be available if I didn’t show up by a specific time. I understand internal miscommunications can happen, but this was a major failure on their part. The sales rep I spoke with at the dealership didn’t even sound apologetic. This ended up being the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had.

I bought my Subaru from Import Auto Sales about three years ago, and it’s still running great. The team showed excellent expertise and made the whole process smooth and easy. The price was fair, and I felt confident in my purchase from day one. I highly recommend Import Auto Sales to anyone looking for a reliable car and knowledgeable service.

We recently purchased a 2019 Toyota Yaris XLE from Import Auto Sales. The car itself is great and was priced under book value. I have no complaints there. My big issue is that they did say the battery was "good" but when I got it checked at a Toyota dealer they did tell me its bad and that's what is causing a blinking push to start. The car also had a broken windshield but they did replace that free of charge so I can't complain (and gave us a loaner for the day that they were fixing it). I would recommend this dealer if you're okay with salvage cars and are maybe willing to inspect a little bit more than we did. I would buy from them again easily.

FABULOUS! Radu & Max were wonderful to work with. They have stood behind their sale & fixed a couple of minor things. They even provided us with new floor mats for our vehicle. I have already referred Import Auto Sales to friends!

Had a great experience with this dealer and they also give you a nice discount on future maintenance which is an added bonus along with a loaner. They have a wide selection of cars and will help you find one that fits you. They are going through a big renovation and should look great when it’s completed.

I've bought my cars from Max at Import Avto Sales! This is a fantastic business that's been around for a while. They specialize in high quality, unusual and special imports. They have a reputation for outstanding quality, honesty, and integrity. I've enjoyed doing business here. Pricing on the cars and your trade in will be fair, the buying process is easy, and I left with a great deal on my new (used) Subaru forester ! I will go back here again because of the excellent customer service and high quality vehicles. Max really knows his cars well, you won't find a better used car dealer than Import auto sales LLC!

We bought a 2022 wagoneer from Import Auto Sales that they did not disclose had been smoked in, they sold it with major steering/balance/alignment issues, bad tires, broken rear wiper and temperature buttons that don’t work. It’s clear that they tried to cover up the smoke odor as it has progressively gotten worse. We brought it back to be fixed and they did not fix any of the items and the shaking is now worse. We brought it to another dealer and they told us that it had been in a disabling accident, had multiple owners which Import lied about. It’s worth $25,000 less than we paid for it. It took 3 months to get plates and title. I called and talked with the owner and he was very rude. I even asked for him to take it back and I’d take a $5 or 10k loss on it… he refused and said he’d sell it on consignment. He then disclosed that they purchased it at an auction. I would not recommend this place.

We had a great experience working with Import Auto Sales. We looked at the car, that we wound up purchasing, on several different occasions and were always met with kindness's from polite, helpful staff. No pushiness here. We found a lovely vehicle for a fair price and our daughter is thrilled with this new car. Thank you Import Autos!!!

In November of 2023 purchased a 2021 Honda Pilot from Import Auto Sales and had a fantastic experience! Max was my sales representative, and he was nothing short of amazing—supportive and eager to offer a great deal. The service was both friendly and efficient. Since I bought the vehicle in November, I didn't test the A/C at the time. During a recent warm spell I turned on the A/C and noticed it wasn't working. When I contacted them six months after my purchase regarding this, they promptly invited me to the dealership, provided a loaner car, and fixed the A/C by the next day. They truly stand behind their vehicles and go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. I'm definitely planning to return to Import Auto Sales for my next vehicle purchase.

We just bought our 3rd car from Max and crew for a third daughter- our first car was a Subaru Impreza 4 years ago, then a Subaru Crosstrek for another daughter a year ago, then a Subaru Outback yesterday for another daughter yesterday. All vehicles have salvage titles and we have not had any mechanical or body issues with the first two vehicles and do not anticipate having issues with the one we just bought. These guys buy the vehicles and do their own work to bring them back to life and I trust their work. They have always be willing to share details of the prior damage, including sharing photos of the damage. They have been friendly and honest in all my dealings with them over the years and are now my go-to spot for new used vehicles.

We had a fantastic experience with Import Auto Sales. Max treated us very well. We found exactly the used vehicle we were looking for, but it needed a few minor repairs. In order to earn our business, they made the repairs we requested. They have a 30-day guarantee window, and bent over backwards to make us happy with our purchase within (and a little beyond) that window. The guys may appear a little "rough around the edges," but if you treat them with respect, they will do the same for you. We highly recommend this dealership.

This is my first time buying a vehicle at Import Auto. I worked with Max and he was honest and kind. I knew the vehicle I was looking at was a rebuilt/salvage title, but I have had success buying a vehicle with that classification in the past. The price I purchased for the vehicle was very reasonable and I am very happy with my experience at Import Auto Sales.

I had the BEST experience with Ty at Import Auto. I was nervous about the prospect of buying a salvaged vehicle, but Ty was direct and honest about what happened to the Subaru I was interested in and even sat down to show me the photos of the damage taken at Auction. He was patient with my questions and when my credit union was going to require me to come up with 30% of the value of the car, Ty assisted me with a loan application through Royal Credit Union instead. I can't even describe how thrilled I am with my 2020 Subaru! It is now in perfect condition and was $10k less than what it had originally sold for. They also give a 30 day / 1000 mile powertrain warranty. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. UPDATE (Jan 2024): I bought this car in 2021 and In July of 2023 I realized my brand new tires were wearing horribly crooked. I brought it in and the alignment was extremely off. This wasn't Import Autos fault necessarily - although I do believe an alignment should be part of any salvages repair. I just wanted to share so any new salvage title owner will get this checked out before going through 4 new tires! ?

My brother in law was looking at a Toyota Camry here. The car was listed for at least a couple grand more than it’s worth, since it’s a salvage title and still had a lot of hail damage. When we tried to negotiate with Max, he instantly was rude to us. We looked up the Kelly Blue Book value using the VIN and told him it was about 18k…and you can easily knock off a couple grand on that price because it’s a salvage title and it still needs to be repaired from hail damage. He proceeded to look it up not using the VIN and saying it was in “good condition” and it said around 19k. Our number was definitely more accurate since we used the VIN. The car is listed for about $17.9k. Would not recommend this place if you’re looking for a car at a fair price. EDIT - it wasn’t the fact that he didn’t accept the offer that we thought he was rude, it was because he had an ATTITUDE. He also can’t do math apparently because 17,998 is 1,002 lower than 19,000… not 2,000.

We bought a 2020 Subaru Outback Limited from Import Auto Sales and had a positive experience. Keep in mind these vehicles have a salvage title but if repaired correctly there should be no problems. The car didn’t have any floor mats in it and I asked for floor mats and they provided a set of factory mats before we left that evening. Import Auto Sales we helpful when the power driver seat didn’t operate properly, they bring it back and we’ll take care of it. They repaired the power drivers seat and my wife was on here way. Thanks Max and we’ll keep Import Auto Sales in mind when we purchase our next vehicle. 12.01.23 Update: Now that we have had the car for 1 year we have discovered a major issue that should have been caught during the initial repair at Import Auto Sales. I brought the car in for 4 wheel alignment and found out the rear wheels cannot be aligned because of the frame being bent from the previous accident and was not straightened properly the first time. I now am in the process of getting this done which will not be cheep fix just so I can get the tires to wear properly. I know next time to check this out before any purchase of any salvaged titled car.

I bought a 2019 Tesla with a salvage title. I did have to go to Tesla to get it certified to use super charger. The car is solid and I'm extremely happy with my car!

They are up front that pretty much ALL of their vehicles have had some sort of damage, and/or salvage titles. It's a good way to get a good deal if you can find someone that does a good job like these guys do. We found a nice car there and we were treated very well and all of our questions were answered. The owner drove the car for a couple days to make sure there were no issues before we took delivery. Max was very nice and the deal was easy to make. We hope to have this vehicle for many years. Update: We did have an issue with this vehicle, and Import Auto Sales stood behind it 100% and fixed it back up, at considerable cost to them, and no cost to us. This could have been a serious PITA, but these guys are stand up business people and I will be buying from them again in the future.

I had a great experience at Import Auto Sales. They have a very friendly and helpful staff. Max was very upfront about my car having a salvage title (which I was originally nervous about), but he showed me pictures of what had happened to the vehicle and described (in detail) what they had needed to do in order to fix it. The car is solid. Max was also very helpful with answering all the questions I had, and he was very enjoyable to talk to in general. They give a 30-day warranty, but he was nice enough to do a little extra work I had needed, after that 30-day warranty had passed, for free. I would definitely recommend this place.

Hi! Novice car-buyer here and rare giver of reviews, but this place deserves it. As a 26 year old young woman, I was nervous about my first car buying experience. I had an idea of what I wanted, but that was the extent of my familiarity with the process of automobile ownership. I was worried about having the wool pulled over my eyes or being taken advantage of. I worked with Levi who was fantastic throughout the entire experience. He ran and reworked options with me, found a great rate, and was helpful, patient, and forgiving as I navigated the process. He let me take the car out on my own, was never pushy, and I walked away the first day I came in with a fantastic Mercedes GLK 350. He even dropped the car off for me at Enterprise as I turned in the rental I was using! Since then, I have been able to ask him questions about the vehicle on his personal cell with immediate feedback. He’s gone the extra mile to work with me, my co-signer, and is clearly committed to good customer service before, during, and after the sale. This place was comfortable, easy to work with, and I have come away from the experience knowing I got a good deal on a good car, purchased from a place I would recommend to anyone. The poor reviews listed for this site have little to no substance (as I think is likely customary with any automotive place). Absolutely give this place a try for your automotive needs!
