It’s a bitterly cold day and a flat tire just left me stranded. Called Alex/Viking Towing and they were fast and courteous. Technician Randy was friendly and professional, and my car did not make it easy for him. I would 100% recommend this service!

Awesome movers! We had Alex Movers pack and move our large heavy items on May 2025. They were on-time efficient, friendly and careful. They didn't complain, even though it was raining. We would definitely recommend them. Well worth thr money spent!

Not only did the owner arrive quickly on a sat. He taught my son and I how to change the tire step by step, patiently letting us do it with him. Such a kind man and my son was feeling so bad for hitting the curb and popping the tire. He saw the kindness of a stranger. Highly recommend and appreciate this company.

The only dealing ive had with them was when a police officer had them illegally tow my wifes van 4 14 25 I would never call these people as a homeless couple we don't have the money to get our car back and they want us to pay 350 dollars to get our stuff back honestly I would pay the extra money to have sparkys from Glenwood come

Thanks so much , AJ, for coming out to our rural Alexandria home on New Years Eve to open a car with the keys locked inside. I tried calling other locksmiths and they were closed. Then I called the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department and they recommended Viking Towing. In fact they transferred me directly to your phone number, like they have you on speed dial. AJ forwarded us all the necessary information to provide our insurance for reimbursement. A total lifesaver.

I was on a road trip late on a Friday night when my car started having issues that caused me to need it towed, but I felt nervous because I was in the middle of nowhere as a young woman, completely alone. I called AAA and Alex Viking Towing was the company available to help me. I knew that AAA at least must’ve made sure they were reputable before approving them, but I still felt nervous since I was alone and had limited phone service. Despite my nerves, I couldn’t have had a better experience with this company. I believe the employee who towed me up was one of the co-owners, and he was so respectful and knowledgeable, but also was friendly and didn’t make the hour long ride feel awkward or uncomfortable at all. He also kept me very updated as he was coming to tow me so that I’d know when to expect him.

They were super busy because of the storm and asked me to call back if I couldn't find anyone. So I called back and they were able to find someone to quickly get to me on 29 because I was blocking the turn lane. Very kind and professional.

The courtesy and care taken during a very scary experience with my family while stranded in a rural location during a snowstorm and frigid temperatures was extremely appreciated. They will have my business every time! Highly recommend!

My tire blew out on my van, 16 miles from Alexandria at night time 20⁰ weather out. Had great service from Viking towing they promptly dispatched a truck towing me tire repair shop. Thank you AJ.

I have and will continue to be a faithful customer to Alex Viking Towing! Yesterday, I received a phone call from my daughter who was in tears. “Mom I just crashed my car!” As any parents first reaction should be my response was “ARE YOU OK?!?” She responded with “yes I’m fine.” A few minutes later we arrived at the scene to see her car looking very totaled. Called my roadside assistance & within 15 minutes had a tow truck at the scene from Alex Viking Towing. Randy was great, professional, and very helpful! Even got the car hooked up just right so she could get a picture with the truck, the car & her. Luke was polite & very friendly! 5 STAR SERVICE!!!

Very satisified with this towing service. We had a major breakdown of our vehicle just off I-94. Randy arrived within 30 min, he was friendly, courteous and got us to the repair shop we requested (Becker auto repair) promptly.

They saved me! I got a flat tire on 94 and was stuck. I called and they had someone there to help within 20 minutes. The tech changed the tire in 5 minutes and I was on my way. It was a stressful time and they were courteous and helpful. Thank you!

Very friendly, helped me attain the paperwork I was missing to get the car back, no problem. I can actually say I had fun getting the car out of impound(I know I sound insane) because of the gentlemen that was there on a weekend and was still able to be pleasant. I haven't seen that lately in most places I go so keep doing awesome Viking Towing!

I am grateful for the services they provide. Several times I've run out of gas and they have brought me gas when I was stranded. there are times I've locked myself out of my car they do a good job opening locked doors on vehicles.

Called for tire change on Hwy 94. Randy the service technician was AMAZING. Very kind and was done in less than 15 minutes. Dry happy to make it the rest of the trip to Grand forks

I broke down on the side of interstate near Alexandria and called my insurance at around 12:30am. They got me connected with Viking towing. Randy came to pick us up along with my 4wd pickup AND the flatbed car trailer that I was pulling behind the pickup. He did a phenomenal job on the tow and really knew what he was doing! The tow was inexpensive and then after the tow was done and paid for, Randy also went above and beyond the expectations and gave us a ride to whatever hotel we wanted to stay at. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this company simply because of my experience with Randy. Not to mention they had top of the line equipment to use and took great care of my vehicle and trailer. Definitely use these guys if you need a tow in the Alexandria MN area!!!

Will came out to my home and was able to pull my car out of the ditch and away from the tree it slid in to and was resting on. No damages at all! Amazing!!! Thank you a million times! We will always use your services when we need help. Incredible job.

I have used them numerous times and found VT to be swift courteous and reasonable. However last weekend for a local quick pull out of a ditch there rate was exorbitant and not communicated prior to the job. Extremely disappointed.

My wife got her van stuck in the snow and they did a great job getting it out. The price for the time and service was outrageous and was not known until after the work was complete. I felt like they take advantage of the situation and over charge people. It cost $80 to pull our van out of the snow, driver was less than a block away pulling someone else out. It took him less than 10 minutes to drive there, pull the van out and be on his way.

I was extremely impressed with the kindness, professionalism, courtesy, and excellent service that I received. I broke down with my little children far from home. I was anticipating being stranded for many hours waiting for someone to come get us and take us on the long trek home. I worried that no tow truck driver would be able to accommodate 4 extra passengers. I was extremely surprised and relieved how quickly service arrived. I was greeted by the most pleasant gentleman who calmly hooked up my vehicle and assured the kids and I that we would get home safely tonight. I went from feeling anxious to completely at ease. This person went above and beyond. Not only did he get us safely home, but he was a joy to talk with on the ride, his tow truck was clean, and he was kind with my 3 little kids who were very fascinated watching how his tow truck lifted my vehicle. He drives skillfully and safely. I appreciate getting home safely and that our driver turned a very frustrating experience into a calm, relaxing, and pleasant experience where I felt completely at ease and comfortable. We had a long haul to go, so I regret pulling him away from his family on a Sunday night, but I appreciate him and his company for being there when I needed them. Best towing experience I have ever had. Highly Recommended! I

I locked my keys in my truck. They called when they arrived as I waited inside because it was 5 deg F at 10pm, brrr. My truck was unlocked by the time I got out to the parking log! Fast, kind, and took my check card. Thanks!
