We had an issue with our van and Kevin couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. He made some phone calls on our behalf and ultimately talked us through troubleshooting. Thanks for taking time out of day on one of the busiest weekends of the year.

I had some engine issues and broke down. Then due to my own fault, I missed them and their calls two different times. Thankfully they still came on the third time and were still professional and friendly and even still they were fast on arrival! Hooking it up and dropping it off both went very quickly and I can’t say enough good things!

Very pleasant to deal with, prompt, excellent service. We slide off the driveway at the lodge we were staying in and of course ended up stuck in a ditch too deep to drive out of. The lodge is about a 40 min drive from Grand Marais. When we called he was great to work with. Told us how much it would cost for him to come out and get us out. Very reasonable price and he had us out in just a few minutes after he arrived.

I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. Kevin saved the day and towed us all the way from Lutsen to Burnsville after our car accident. It was so generous and kind. I don't know what we would have done without him.

Through insurance, I had my car picked up today and brought to my local mechanic for service. The associate called ahead of arrival to ensure the location, and they were here in twenty minutes while the insurance app gave me an estimate of over an hour. Upon arrival, he was very friendly & professional.

When my jeep developed a screeching coming from the rear end out on the Arrowhead Trail, not only did Kevin drop everything, unload a fuel tank from his truck and come up and get me, he called a mechanic to verify that he could look at my jeep that day. Turned out to be just a rock that had gotten up into my rotor, but the guys got me back on the road again quickly and efficiently and were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend them for anyone.

Kevin and his wife were amazing. They were quick to help me with a flat on the gunflint and when the double patch on a gaping hole didn't work, Kevin was there within minutes to put on the spare and teach me about changing a tire. Super thankful!

This place was just awesome. Kevin is so nice and knowledgeable. He is like a God of towing. It was actually a good time going and getting my truck out of the mud in the middle of no where. His prices are very fair. You can tell he cares about helping people. I wish every sevice was like this. We have lost our humanity. Cook County Towing was great to work with. Our transmission went out north of Grand Marais. He made a terrible experience not as bad. Even towed us all the way to a dealer in Duluth.

Dean was my tow guy and he was a superstar. I was on vacation during the -30s cold snap and slid ever so slightly into a snowbank on a small road. I called the company and they said someone would be out shortly. Dean showed up like a true bad@$$ Minnesotan in blue jeans (remember -30s). He made sure to properly attach the tow thingy to my car to not break anything. We adjusted the wheels as needed to not ruin anything there. Boom. My car was out and ready to rock. He insisted I went on to have a great night and was just a treat during a stressful situation. Call Dean!

We made it home safely from Grand Marais to Detroit Lakes Mn. We had a rock puncture our tire and woke up to a flat on the morning to go home. Sunday, Memorial weekend ! I called them and they immediately answered and willing to help. They got our tire plugged and us on the road ! Way and beyond a tow truck company, this business really has your safety ( and sanity ) in mind. Pulling over to let the car behind us go by, we went in the ditch today (freeeeezing cold out, -4F) on a backroad near Grand Marais. It’s pretty scary getting stuck outside when it’s Sub Zero temperatures, but Cook County Towing saved the day. Now we’re back in our warm hotel room safe and sound. You can’t put a price on that. Kevin at Cook County Towing really saved us from a bad situation. Our car broke down with a failed alternator just south of Tofte. Kevin was so generous and helpful to us, I really could not have asked for more. Car wouldn't start at Lutsen resorts on a -10 night. She as here in 20 min and jumped our vehicle at a fair price. Very friendly and helpful.
