Came here for the first time ever and was amazed at the variety it has to offer. Rocks, jewelry, fossils, they have it all. Customer service was great, he was knowledgeable and friendly, too!

By far the biggest rock and crystal shop in lower Michigan. The staff is extremely friendly and they’re knowledgeable about the stones and properties of them. Every time I go there it’s like a big hug because the vibe is so amazing. I always leave there feeling energized and happy. 10/10 I definitely recommend stopping in.
WOW. Just ... WOW! MSR has an INCREDIBLE selection, beautiful specimens, and knowledgeable staff. Everything is clearly labeled and stunningly organized. Many stones I, a crystal enthusiast, had never even heard of! I look forward to coming back!

There is a large amethyst geode selection as well as spheres and crystal points. Rocks, minerals, and crystals of all shapes and sizes here! There are palo santo and smudge sticks also.
Store is clean and bright! Tons of inventory here all nicely displayed.

What an amazing place this store is! It's a perfect reason to visit this little town of Durand, Michigan. I've been in many Rock shops across this country and I must say the way they have laid out their specimens at child height to get those little future geologists excited about all the different kind of rocks there are was delightful.
It seems as though they have every rock that could ever be found represented in this shop and their prices are very fair.
Another thing about the shop is how clean it was! Every rock shop I've ever been in there's a nice layer of aged dust covering the shelves but not at Main St. Rocks and the aisles are wide enough for anyone navigating in a wheelchair.

Amazing experience here! I stopped in with my Wife and little one here and we had a blast. We were all fascinated with the variety that was available and the unique items from petrified wood and sharks teeth to unbelievable fossils , you will not be disappointed. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough!
Super friendly & a crazy vast surprising selection. I wanted a Yooperlite since we didn’t find one in the UP. They have polished ones and my son was so happy, he found a Jack Skeleton Yooperlight!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you Jordan for making our 1st time there so awesome‼️
Excellent selection! Anything from raw to polished and carved stones and fossils! And they can accommodate any budget! Was very impressed with such a vast selection as well. The staff was so knowledgeable and as excited about the stones as I was! Shout out to Sadie for the help in making the hard decision of what to get! Would definitely recommend a visit, but make sure you have time to look!
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. There was 2 employees there when I visited. The female employee was super nice and charismatic, making us feel welcome and appreciated. The majority of the interaction I had was with the male employee who seemed passionate and very knowledgeable and well-versed on the huge variety of items being offered, and everything on display. He was happily able to answer every question I had, and was even eager to share additional information about the different items and topics we discussed. We were there right up to the minute they closed, and never got the feeling they were in a hurry or rushing us to leave right away. I even stopped to take a few pics on the way out!
At the end of our visit, I left with the feeling that I'd learned a good amount about the items I bought, that I got reasonable deals on everything, and had an overall positive experience. Despite the 30+ minute drive to get there, my daughter and I will definitely be shopping here next time we're adding to her collection. Thanks again for all the help.
