Get a quote in writing. Charged me double what they quoted. Also charged me for tuning they didn’t do. These people have no business being around performance vehicles. Messed up my installation 3 times. Finally quit taking it back to them to figure out the issue as it was apparent they had no clue.
Want to call out Mitch!! Super nice guy. Our repair was done exactly how he said. He kept us informed of what needed to be done and we will definitely be taking our auto repair business there from now on.
Took my car in for a loose metal plate that came off when I got stuck in the snow -- they called back and were honest and told me I didn't need to buy a new one. I've also taken my car there for a second opinion on some major work -- learned from port sheldon auto that I didn't need any of it. I'll be taking my cars there forever now. I feel like it's hard to find an honest and quality auto place.
A very fortunate (for me) Referral by a neighbor landed me in the office of Port Sheldon Auto Repair. The objective was our venerable 1970's VW Camper Bus, and the problem was some pretty sloppy steering. Well as I told them, I was HONORED AND HUMBLED to have them take a look, as there are often some horror stories about shops trying to make the best out of vehicles which were only made to last a very few years, not for over 50 years.
Mike from PSA gave me a very solid Estimate, which I gratefully accepted. Having researched the job on-line, I expected to shell out twice or three times as much as I ended up paying. Moreover, the care that the men took was obvious, and was excellent. A final Front-End-Alignment, and the old beast now drives and handles like my brand new Toyota SUV. Communication was excellent. Repair was excellent, and I will be bringing my cars to Port Sheldon Auto from now on.
I've waited months a year to get in to be repaired and was continously lied to about when they could fix it had my car towed to the appointment just for them to cancel again which causes me to lose money . The son Cam and their whole business is very unprofessional .
This will be the only place my fiancé and I bring our vehicles to from now on. Ryan and Cam (I hope I'm remembering their names correctly) were very informational and honest mechanics. We usually leave any sort of mechanic shop with a bad gut feeling we were somewhat taken advantage of or given false information, but not with this place! HIGHLY recommend.

Port sheldon auto’s crew came highly recommended. I had a 1966 Ford fairlane with a no start issue. Not only did they diagnose it very fast they found a few other things that needed to be fixed. They let me know my options and and got right to it. They helped me load it on my trailer and even gave me some fuel additive for free that they recommended. Although it was a lengthy time completing the project (because they have so many customers??) their workmanship was fantastic.
I LOVE Mike and the port Sheldon crew. I have a Frankenstein put together 1990 firebird (motor doesn't match car. Etc). No one else was able figure out how to make it go fast- really fast. Every other mechanic wouldn't be knowledgeable about my car or would get frustrated and do a half assed job. Mike went out of his way to even put heat protectors over my spark plugs so the plug doesn't burn up. He fixed things that were broken that he didn't even charge me for and didn't even mention it! That's a perfectionist. I brought in a performance manifold and he told me I need a different one that was way way better. I've gone here for 7 years and they have COMSISTENT good work. Absolute geniuses!
Vehicle was diagnosed and fixed in the same day, and they even stayed late to get it done. They told me what my options were up front, including costs, and they stuck to their quote. Truck is running better than ever and the customer service was great. I have had some bad experiences with other shops in town, so I will be using PSA from now on!
We have taken our Tahoe in twice in the last 6 months. Once for some body/rust work and once for some mechanical issues. Our truck runs and looks great! Trustworthy and honest people to deal with! Port Sheldon Auto is fantastic! They did much more than I expected! I took my 1987 Buick Regal T in for some paint work. A few days later when I went to pick it up I was really surprised at the way my car shines. Todd and crew did a great job and I recommend them to anybody who needs some attention paid to their paint!

These guys are just great. I cannot say enough good about them. I had an intermittent fuel pump issue on my old van, they diagnosed and fixed in no time at all, at a very fair price. I believe they are honest and professional. You can trust them, they know their stuff.
I am not car-savvy in the least, but I called here to inquire about my car, which was making worrisome noises, and their schedule was able to get me in at 8am on the day that I needed. I was given a loaner car for the day that I had my appointment! The shop called me back the same day around 1pm and gave me the issue and quote to fix the issue. The prices weren't high (in auto fix terms) and the fix was super quick! I will definitely go back there and highly recommend this shop for anyone who is just as car-savvy as I am!!
Just had suspension work done. Plus, new tires. Port Sheldon automotive was great! Quick and willing to work around my crazy schedule. They are good people with honest quotes. They don't pad the bill!
Great Customer Service! I take all my vehicles here because I know I can trust their workmanship. They stand behind their work and I highly recommend them. I especially appreciate if my vehicle is towed in they are able to work it into their schedule. Port Sheldon Auto cares about the customer and their vehicles needs. I've taken my last two trucks here to get serviced multiple times and could not have been more pleased. Every time receiving nothing but great customer service and timely work. I will continue to bring any of my vehicles here for any performance or mechanical work and would recommend this shop to anyone.
Messed up my truck, didnt do the tune right. Twice, then didnt want to stand behind their work when I brought it in a third time. When i called with my problem, they were very rude and hung up after they said they would put me on hold. When i called again they acted mad and told me they would talk to me when they could, i was hold for 30 minutes, only for them to tell me that there was no problem with it which was not true. Finally they supposedly re did the tune and it ran good for almost a month and then the timing was bad, and started running very rich. Both tuning issues. Also charged me an extra 450 dollars to "seal" up my exhaust, still leaks out of the donut gasket. And header gasket. I got tired of dealing with them.
