I requested battery service through AAA this evening and I was blown away by Troy Auto Care. The technician Derek was incredibly prompt and friendly as well as diligent in assuring my car was good to start. To top it off, I received a follow-up call from Cynthia to assure my experience was satisfactory. Her genuine warmth and care was definitely felt on the other side of the phone. Bravo!

Somehow locked keys in the car. Troy Auto gave great communication about expected arrival times. Cameron showed up within a reasonable time and saved the day. He was super friendly and unlocked the door fast. If you need this type of service, recommend you give Troy Auto a call.
Love these guys! Last summer they fixed a water pump, came in under estimate and car has been working great! Helped me again this week with my jeep. Friendly, knowledgeable, I will keep coming back :)

AAA arranged for me to have Troy Auto Care pick up and tow my disabled vehicle this morning. The tow truck driver, Patrick, was amazing. When he called to confirm the location of the car and realized I would have to walk to that location with the car keys, he offered to swing by and pick them up so that I didn't have to go out in the cold. He made the process so much less stressful! Thank you Patrick with Troy Auto Care!
Use my AAA app to get a jump. The tech that came out his name is Dan a young guy first looked at my battery and started telling me how it wouldn’t work because it’s swollen and it has corrosion and all this other stuff and I told him well if you don’t wanna jump it you don’t have to thank you so much for your services but it’s cold outside and I need to get back in the house. He’s like well I’m gonna jump it and I said OK well, thank you. Jump the car it ran great. He takes his jumper cables off put it in the truck comes back with a can and says oh I’m gonna clean the corrosion off and I told him not too he still done it and my car turned off and would not start again. He left oil all over the battery and then lied to his dispatcher and said the car wouldn’t stay on with out his jumper box. He is not a good tech and hope he never responds to anyone!! If so record him!!
Then the dispatch lady decided to tell me oh he’s been working here for over 20 years. He knows what he’s doing. No, he don’t he knows how to call you guys and tell you guys a lie, and you believe him!!
Troy Auto is one of the best car repair shops in the Metro Detroit area. They are thorough and you do not have to worry about having work done that isn't necessary. They are the most honest repair shop I have ever dealt with and the staff and mechanics are the best!

Tiana was extremely helpful after I locked my keys in my car. She was there in 5 minutes and had the car unlocked in 30 seconds. I couldn’t believe how quick the response time was. Great service!
My Sylvia (car) wouldn’t start this morning in 17° weather she wasn’t having it, so I called AAA and they sent out Troy Auto Care and my service man’s name is Troy. He was here in less than 10 minutes. He got me started in no time at all, very pleasant man and he was very informative. Thank you Troy Auto Care and thank you Troy.

It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. I've over paid for faulty work in the past. This place does the job right the first time, and they will give you a fair price. The staff was excellent, Griffin exceeded expectations! I appreciate the piece of mind he provided!
5 star service! I dropped my car off for an 8 am appointment for some electrical issues .they called to confirm what I needed done to my car and they were done by 10am! Friendly and thorough service. My car drove so much better and for an incredible price. Will definitely be taking my car here for any issues and oil changes from now on. Thank you!
I took my truck Midas on 12 in madison hgts. Door a repair the price was6.700 oo .went Troy Auto .they are God sent. Only 382.00. the nicest and honest peopleyou will ever meet.they saved me over 6. Ooo dollars they are front God's hands to our Troy Autonevet go anywhere else to Troy ato
Jeremy (I think) refused to rotate tires even though that is the main reason I made a whole appointment to come in here.
Also, a single oil change took over 1 hour when on the phone they said 30-45 minutes.
The only nice thing about this place is the clean lobby with comfortable chairs and complementary Wi-Fi and coffee.
But still over all wouldn’t return or recommend.
We've been taking our cars here for over three years now. The service has been consistently excellent whether for an oil change, brakes or more extensive service. The staff is courteous and professional and a pleasure to do business with. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else.
Derek at Troy Auto Care went above and beyond when my car's engine blew out. He pushed it from the side of the road all the way to my apartment complex, showing exceptional dedication and customer service. His prompt response to my call saved me a lot of hassle and stress and eased the worries that my family had. I highly recommend Troy Auto Care and commend Derek for his outstanding service!
Used their towing service through AAA, the tow driver misdelivered the vehicle to a different address, after some calles the tow driver dropped the vehicle off at the gas pump (took an hour which should have took 15 mins). We asked if he could drop it off NEAR the garage and not IN the garage, told us "no, we are bad people" and drove off. He seemed like he was in a hurry and upset for not doing the job right the first time. Thank you, for letting us push the vehicle to the garage. Dispatch helped us and in additon great customer service, tow truck driver (i was informed was a trainee) definitely needs a snickers bar. Update: customer service/ dispatcher followed up with me and she smoothed things over. Used their towing service in the past with no issues, one time incident.
It is difficult to find an honest and great car repair facility these days…but I have!!!
With three cars, driven by two who do not understand the term “oil change” or maintenance, this place is a life saver!

These men are literal angels on earth. My car started making a horrible noise on a Friday afternoon. I immediately took it to the Volkswagen dealership and although they had the parts in stock, they told me they couldn’t do the work until Monday. I found out about Troy Auto Care through a family friend, called them, and was assured they could do the work if I could bring the parts. I got there at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and left with a fixed car at 5:45. The service was fantastic, the waiting room was clean and had nicely organized games and coloring books for my two kids, and the people could not have been nicer. I feel a lucky I found them and they took such good care of me!
This place does terrible work, Specially their "head mechanic" Jeremy. He is the one that worked on my truck and I spoke to on the phone... Very unprofessional. I went there to get my lifters replaced and they didn't even look to see the cam was bad so the new lifters were shot within just a few weeks. So I had someone else do the work this time around because this place wanted so much money and I was concerned they didn't do the work right the first time... They broke bolts and didn't say anything, they didn't tighten the manifold all the way down. All my dash lights started coming on and my temperature gague stopped working and it was because they didn't plug certain things back in. Bottom line, they charge way more than anywhere else for labor and do horrible work. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else... I guarantee you will find someone to do a much better job for cheaper. I did
Scheduled an appointment to get my heater core checked as it was brought to my attention by the dealership. The guy (forgot his name) checked it out and said there was no issue, the best part, he didn’t even charge me. Such a great service! Will definitely keep this shop in mind when I need something done.
I scheduled online an emergency roadside assistance through my insurance company “AAA” to have my car towed from my home to an auto-shop, filled out the needed information and submit the form. The towing company they have used was Troy Auto Care, a timer on the webpage was displaying the elapse time until the tow truck will show up to my address and believe it or not, the driver Travis showed up with his truck in that time frame up to the seconds. I was very pleased and impressed by the promptness and the professionalism in which they responded to the whole situation. I would recommend their service to anyone in need.
