First time at yard house celebrating the one year anniversary with the misses. Ally was our waitress and let me say she was the best waitress we could’ve asked for. Attentive, great spirits, helped us with menu selections. Would 10/10 recommend stopping by Yard House in troy and saying hi to ally! Best waitress ever, thank you ally you rock!!!
Me and boyfriend went here for the first time. Everything was good the Miguel queso dip, my boyfriend got the bbq wings with sweet pototoes fries. I got the 8oz filet mignon with the caesar salad & mashed pototoes. The mignon was so tender and juicy kisses to the chief. The mashed pototoes was fluffy not stif. My Pineapple Express was so good. Our waitress Paris was amazing as well so nice and friendly very pleasure.
came here Friday night for dinner, My husband and I sat at the bar because there was an hour wait, we were starving, and thought it was going to take forever, BUT, i was so wrong. Our drinks came out shortly after we ordered, our app was out a little after that, then our dinner came. Even with a PACKED restaurant service was PERFECT, dinner and drinks were amazing our order was correct. our suervers always acknowledged us with a smile asking if we needed anything. we will definitely be back Thanks for the great service.
So I don't ever like to send my food back but sadly I had to twice this time...I ordered a medium rare steak, but the first time the sent it out it was well done, so I asked the server and she agreed with me it was well done, and I felt really bad for inconveniencing her, but she was nice about it and sent it back. Then it came back raw nhe second time, and I was like hmmm I really don't want to be a bother again but I am pretty scared of eating fully raw meat, so I had to confirm with my server again, and they said yeah it's raw and they took it back without any complaints. Finally the third time was just right - medium rare! I really felt like goldilocks :D thanks for being nice about it unfortunately the asparagus were the tiniest sticks I've ever had! That was kind of a disappointment because I really enjoy asparagus, but I will say the mashed potatoes were spot on though, very yummy! Unfortunately the carrots were super hard... Sadly all of the waiting took so long that I couldn't even enjoy the rest of my meal because I had to get back to work...Hopefully next time it'll be a better experience!
My wife and friend got the grilled cheese. Both sandwiches were burnt and the soup was cold. We told the waitress and they took them off the bill and gave us a free dessert. That’s why I’m giving 3 stars.
Definitely ask to have Emily as a waitress: extremely nice, charismatic, have great recommendations for food, and had great service. The birria tacos were small but flavorful. The birria consomé was okay; I wish it had more flavor. The Carne Asada was also small and I wish it had more flavor. I liked it when I added hot sause and dipping it in the birria consomé due to the meat being too dry. The Thai Pork Chop was juicy and flavorful and was surprised how good the cauliflower fried rice was. I wouldn't get both of these foods again but would get the fish and chips again. Although, the fries taste like it was a cheap frozen brand and the fish was only good with malt vinegar (not the sauces it came with).
The server Tee. She was absolutely phenomenal. I sent my sister between myself and someone else in case somebody ordered fish so the people across from us ordered fish so I was actually telling the server who bought the fish that she shouldn’t touch my sister‘s plate cause she touched the ladies with fish plate however, our server heard what I was stating because she bought my sister‘s plate And she asked how severe was my sister‘s allergies to Phish and we were like Hospital severe so she immediately took my sister‘s plate because they cooked her fries in the same oil. I guess that they cook the fish so she was 100% great however, my onion rings were cooked in the same oil and my sister has some onion rings so as I noticed, her lips begin to break out, I told her to stop eating them and I gave her a Benadryl but thank you T. Definitely a good look or we would be in the hospital.
I really enjoy Yard House in Troy (especially the staff ) and I visit quite often. The food is always on point…delicious, consistent, and made just the way I request. I also enjoy their drinks, which are always well done…..
However, one thing that does take away from the experience for me is the music selection. The Troy location only seems to play pop and rock, which can feel repetitive and not very inclusive. Yard House serves such a diverse mix of people, yet the music doesn’t reflect that. When I visited a location in Georgia, they had a much more well-rounded playlist that included R&B and other genres, which made the atmosphere more enjoyable.
It would be great if this location could expand their music choices to be more diverse and reflective of the wide variety of guests they serve. Sometimes the music here feels so one-dimensional that I’ve even opted to take my food to go instead of dining in. (Tonight specifically)
Other than that, I truly do love this restaurant and plan to keep coming…..but I think more inclusive music would take the atmosphere to the next level.
The Yard offers a wide selection of appetizers, entrees, and beer. We had the chicken nachos as an appetizer, which was a large amount and very delicious. We ordered the Mediterranean Salmon, it was slightly over cooked, but still good. Nashville hot chicken sandwich with fries, and the BLT sandwich, which originally arrived with bacon that was pretty much raw. They made the sandwich again and it was perfect the second time. Perfect place to catch a game and our server Emma was great!
I love Yard House! The atmosphere is always lively and welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot whether you’re meeting friends, grabbing a bite after work, or just enjoying a night out. Their drink menu is impressive—creative, fun, and beautifully made. The cocktails are not only delicious but also have that “fancy” touch that makes them feel special.
Happy hour is definitely a highlight! The deals are fantastic, and there’s a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the experience even better.
If you’re looking for a place with a great vibe, amazing drinks, and one of the best happy hours around, Yard House is the spot!
Excellent happy hour! Service is great and fast too! Happy hour food is so worth it. Loved the pizzas except for the buffalo pizza. Poke nachos and calamari was great! Okay with sliders and will definitely be back!
Great spot to take someone you truly care about out for dinner. Had a great atmosphere, and tons of food options. Food can be pricy so take that into consideration.
This is one of the few places in Troy that actually has reasonable prices for very good food.. not only is the food consistently good, but it seems as though it is always prepared to order. My favorite ironically, are the spirits. The pricing of the spirits is a little higher than what most places around the area offer, however, the choices of liqueurs and spirits that they have is of higher quality and the bartenders are very well-trained. This means that I get consistency of the drinks every time that I ask for them and it makes the higher price worth it..
I've been coming to this establishment now for about 2 years. And I am consistently happy, and I truly recommend for those that are visiting the Troy area, that if they want to try something a little bit different, in terms of eating comfort food and don't mind a little bit of a higher price. You'll find that you get a lot of value per dollar at this establishment.
I would give it 5 stars for the food. Itself, but I think they need to offer a little bit more of a variety and offer some specials with the menu, and that's when I would bump this up to 5 stars for the food.
Lastly, the way that you pay for your order is quick, convenient and uses better technology than most places.. where the standard is, you have to wait for your check and be able to then wait for the waiter to come back and take payment here you can be able to split the tab app as you wish, make payment in. Full use debit, credit, cash or any other QR and coupon codes that you want to all-in-one device. I wish more places in the U.S would utilize this type of technology because most of the time I see this in Canada.
Stopped by with a few coworkers, and the service was spot-on. The food was outstanding—every dish in the photos was an easy 10/10. Can’t wait to come back and try even more!
Came here for my bday with some friends and it is a really nice bar that is very open with plenty of seating. They are able to handle all party sizes. The service was good and friendly. The drinks were poured nicely and creative and the food was solid. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Had a great lunch at Yard House in Troy. Their draft beer selection is one of the best I’ve seen, great selection of local IPA’s too! This was a lunch visit so I went with the turkey club sandwich. It was fantastic and had great flavor, and just the right portion. They put avocado on it which paired nicely and was a unique touch. The service was prompt and efficient, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for lunch or dinner!
This place rocks! Whether you are here for the seemingly unlimited beer options, cocktails, wine, breakfast, lunch, dinner, vegetarian or meaty options, this place has everything you could possibly want. The food is almost always exceptionally cooked. I've been here dozens of times and only maybe twice had a less than stellar experience. Shout out to the truffle white cheddar whiskey burger with the veggie burger as an option! Also the white truffle fries, onion rings, and Cobb salad are all awesome. Their standout feature beyond they incredibly delicious food is definitely their very reasonably priced beer which you can order in all the normal boring sizes like a pint, or you can really have a unique experience by ordering it in a 32oz half yard! That beer is huge!! Be careful or you might dump it on yourself haha! In one occasion, the staff did dump one on me, so maybe be aware of the risk there too if you see a waitress carrying one on a tray (oops! Haha). Overall the staff here is really great! I love the knowledgeable, fun bartenders and even the management has been very reasonable whenever anything has been less than perfect. A great place to stop by and have a good time whether you are done at the mall and feeling hungry, just finished up at work, or heading through town. One of the best places to eat and drink in Troy! Oh, and their happy hour is $4 off for the half yard and half price on apps! Sweet deal!
This is one of my happy hour spots. Great drinks and a nice happy hour menu. The food tastes yummy and I love the way my food is presented. The atmosphere is top notch and a nice place to unwind.
My husband and I had dinner here for the first time. Our waitress Zela was the best! Took us through the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. Service was well timed. We had the traditional Wings in two different sauces, 10 out of 10. The steak bowl was delicious and the BBQ Burger we will come back for! Overall an exceptional dinner.

I ordered the Black Orchid cocktail, and let me tell you… it was strong! Tasted like I was sipping a shot (not complaining though—it definitely did its job).
For appetizers, we had the Cheese Curds and Calamari. The cheese curds were my favorite, the calamari was just okay for me; I wasn’t a fan of the breading. For our mains, we went with the Lobster Garlic Noodles and the Carnivore Pizza. Both were flavorful and hit the spot.
Overall experience: 9/10. Would definitely come back!
It was my first time coming here and the place was really amazing. The food was good, the people, and the atmosphere. The waiter we had was really nice and she checked on us every few minutes and also topped off our drinks whenever she saw them low. The food options were amazing and same with the drinks. The food came out fast and everything tasted really good and fresh. I plan to come here more as there are other foods I want to try.
Yard House in Troy is a great spot for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting. My go-to lunch order is the Cobb salad with salmon—it’s always fresh and perfectly cooked. Another favorite is the pasta with mushrooms and garlic. The menu has plenty of options, and the service is consistently friendly. Highly recommend!
This restaurant is amazing! The food is always top notch… the cocktails are excellent and the service is excellent! Even though it is always full, the wait time is not excessive since it is quite big! If you want to eat well and have a nice time… this is an excellent option without a doubt. The poke nachos and wings are really delicious
This place has a lot going for it: delicious food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere. The menu is extensive, with a fantastic happy hour selection. While the beers we tried were just okay, there are plenty of options worth sampling. The pizza was decent - perfectly fine for happy hour prices. The place is also ideal for watching sports, with lots of TVs around. Our waitress was attentive, checking in regularly and making sure we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely be back! The wait time was about 15-20 minutes on a Friday evening, which wasn’t too bad at all.

Went here on Sunday to try it out. Wait was short for 2. Friendly attentive staff who answered all the questions we had and because we trusted her decision on food, I really enjoyed it. We started with the 4 cheese spinach dip, which is really good with great chips( I forgot to take a picture of). I ordered the Maui Pineapple Chicken. The sauce used with it made the dish sing on the taste buds. The only issue with the dish was that the rice was slightly overcooked. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Portions were large, and my wife really enjoyed her spicy jambalaya with jasmine rice. We ordered the Brookie for dessert, and that was great! I will definitely visit this place more often. Quality food.
