I bought my car from Lad in August 2025 and genuinely it’s my favorite car Honda Passport and I absolutely love coming here! The whole process was great, he walked me through the entire process and was straightforward and transparent. He Helped me with parts, and helped me find a great mechanic as well! Lad is one of the most honest people I’ve met and it’s reassuring having him around especially in an industry that doesn’t always have the most trustworthy people. Customer service is great and he makes you feel right at home. His work is fast and reliable with attention to detail. Highly recommend Lad’s!
I highly recommend Lad's for any of your automotive needs. I personally dealt with Sal. Sal is a stand up guy, hes an open book about any questions you might have on the vehicle and is a man of his word. I will be buying many more vehicles from this gentlemen and Lad's.

I can't imagine how I would have gotten our salvage title rebuilt without Lads. Even before I was able to get them the vehicle I called and they walked me through a few things that made the entire process easy and manageable. This is a process and there is for sure some paper work involved, but it wasn't terrible. I will gladly recommend and use Lads in the future. I think they were honest and helpful.

Reached out to Wael through fb marketplace and went to see a vehicle. Honestly liked it… just needed a min to sleep on pulling the trigger on purchasing. I got up today (seen the vehicle yesterday) and I reached out to see if it was still available to purchase and Wael blocked me! I guess he got upset I didn’t immediately purchase the same day. I had a very unique situation that I won't go too much into detail about here, but I do want to say I reached out to lad's motors and I must say from the very beginning the first conversation on the phone to actually going to meet the guys in person at the shop these guys were very professional proved to me that they're willing to go above and beyond for the customer highly highly recommend these guys!
My wife and I had a wonderful experience purchasing our recent vehicle from Lad’s Motors. Before making the trip from eastern Ohio to Michigan, we estimated the final amount, including Ohio taxes. Unfortunately, we overestimated, and our cashier’s check exceeded the necessary amount. Without hesitation, the dealer refunded the overpayment via Venmo.
He made buying a used car a comfortable and stress-free experience. We truly appreciate his honesty and integrity. Purchasing a used car always carries some risk, and the process is not always enjoyable. However, at Lad’s Motors, we never felt pressured to buy and felt completely at ease throughout the closing process.

I purchased a preowned vehicle from Lads Motors in Troy, MI on 11/27/24 That preowned vehicle was purchased for $8499. I was sold a warranty (automatically included in my purchase price) with the vehicle that warranties the powertrain including transmission for 3mos from purchase or 5000 miles which ever comes first. This vehicle had acquired less than 100 miles on it from the purchase date when I contacted the dealership about a problem with the vehicle via email. NO RESPONSE.
Within a day or less I noticed the vehicle had a transmission problem. I took the vehicle to a repair facility and they informed the transmission was failing. I provided a quote for the repair of the transmission from a professional repair facility totaling nearly $6000. Both Lad's Motors and the warranty company NVP declined to help. The dealership said they couldn't help and left us with no answers or resolve. The dealership (MILAD) was never forthcoming when asked if the car had any major mechanical issues and never called back, responded to emails and when visited in person gave us no resolve other than they would not pay for the repairs or honor the warranty.
MILAD (the person I bought the vehicle from and paid $8499 to) informed us that they switched warranty companies.
The issue is the vehicle has a BAD transmission. Nothing except replacement will fix this issues.
I believe Lads Motors knew the vehicle had a transmission problem, along with a battery problem. They failed to disclose the issues and sold a faulty warranty in efforts to conceal the repairs needed for the vehicle. They also never address the mis misspelled name on the title work they submitted.
My experience---SLOPPY service all around. The dealer responded to my Better Business Bureau complaint saying I test drove it so therefore it is an "as is" deal. The problem here is that Lad's Motors test drove the vehicle as well. Why did you sell the vehicle with a transmission problem? Shady practices may get you quick money but not repeat clients. I will be sure to warn others of this business.

I was looking for a place that does salvage inspections when I came upon Lad's. Dealing with them was quick and painless. No appt needed for the mechanic's inspection, and they scheduled the police inspection. I will use them again.
Great service. I’ve taken 2 cars there and the service is amazing. They communicate great and work with the customer to provide quality service. I’ve had an issue with my car and they were able to source a part with an amazing price. Highly recommend to anyone who wants quality work at a fair price
My girlfriend purchased a 2014 Buick Encore from the owner of safenet collision this past summer and this was their paperwork office. During the test drive, everything seemed fine. However, on the drive home, the check engine light came on not 10 minutes after leaving, indicating a problem with the catalytic converter. We contacted the owner, and the owner claimed the car had probably just been sitting for too long and offered to fix it if the engine light stayed on.
After a couple of months with the check engine light still on anD noticing some engine lag, I took the car back. They replaced some O2 sensors, hoping that would resolve the issue, but it didn’t. They then said they would look into replacing the exhaust system. Since then, they’ve been ignoring our messages.
Today, while driving, the accelerator suddenly stopped working, and the engine sputtered and stalled. Thankfully, we were able to restart the car and get back home. Now, another engine code has come up, this time related to the turbo along with the catalytic converter still an issue. It's clear this car had problems before she got it. You try to be optimistic and give the benefit of the doubt but it just goes to show not to trust people in that area.
Lad’s Motor is a great place to buy a car. I bought a 2015 Chevy Cruze for my daughter and it’s been perfect so far. The salesman I had was one, if not, the best salesman I’ve experienced with. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family.

My experience at Lad's Motors, and Auction Broker, was the worst I've ever had in the auto industry. The owner was very unprofessional, overcharging me for inspection and dealership fees. Imagine, I paid $1000 in fees for a salvage car I purchased from an auction for $3300, and in the end, I didn't even get a title transfer under my name, even though I paid state taxes and registration. When I called him out, he didn't want to talk to me, then blocked my number because he didn't want to take responsibility for his bad work. I would never do business with Lad's Auto again.
Update: As you said, I paid the state sale tax and transfer fees, did you transfer the title? NO. you charged me twice for dealership fees which is $175. you did not reach out to me to solve the problem.
Lad’s Motors is amazing, he is straight forward, honest and gets the job done right. He fixed many of my vehicles perfectly. Never had any problems. He won’t disappoint you!
Bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze from Lads Motors. Very honest on the repairs that were done and provided me with information on the car before I made the purchase. He made sure everything was good and the transaction was smooth. I would really recommend Milad for any car purchase, he was very professional and very polite.
Came here for salvage / rebuilt vehicle inspection on my cheap Cayenne. The car wasn't perfect and it didn't have to be for a winter beater. They had my official inspection appointment just a week out, went in for inspection, the process went smooth, I was also told all the small things that needed to be fixed before I could pass the inspection. Quick work, professional approach, I walk out as a happy customer.
Yes you can get an inspection done somewhere else for cheaper but you'll wait a month or two and struggle with paperwork.
I'd suggest this place for anyone with a similar purpose.
This company and associates are honest, thorough, efficient, knowledgeable and incredibly genuine people. I am a repeat customer and will continue to be.
The used vehicle I purchased a few years ago ran perfectly, literally no issues. I just purchased again and found their workmanship, professionalism and entire experience to be just as wonderful years later.
