The lady that was working in the office of the impound lot was very kind to us. She explained the process of what we had to go through with the insurance throughly and even double checked with us to make sure we got all of the items out our car that we wanted to keep.
Axel snapped on the way home. Never used a tow company before. Definitely recommending these guys to anyone I know in a bind. They were super friendly on the phone and in person, which is greatly appreciated as I was mid panic. Tow truck was there within an hour and the driver provided a nice conversation to take my mind off the chaos of my car, he even helped me and my pup home safely. Thank you guys for what you do.
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Lady working was incredibly rude from the start but as we were cleaning my car she was YELLING at my father and I to “get out of her lot” and alleged we had been there “over an hour” (we arrived at 1:17pm and left at 1:50pm). I don’t see anything that says there’s a time limit to clean out the car?
I’m just glad my insurance was paying the tow fees because they’re ripping people off and have ZERO professionalism. Worst tow yard ever the city should not be using them.
My father was in an accident in Madison Heights, not his fault and his car was towed here. This place is horrible to have to deal with. They charge an outrageous amount to get your car out and will not let you even look at your car even though you were in an accident, had to go to the hospital so had no idea how your car was when it was taken to this yard and told an elderly veteran that he could not take pictures or even look at his car until he gave them CASH. The city should not be using them for their impound. The people working there SHOULD NOT be dealing with the public at all, they are just lucky I was not with my father.
Whenever you're in a bind and need a tow truck, you're always looking for fast, reliable service. After a long day at the Madison Heights fireworks, you end up getting your pickup truck and trailer stuck in the mud, and AAA will do nothing to help. You're definitely looking for fast and reliable service. After sitting for an hour or so waiting for AAA to show up and literally do nothing but tell us why they couldn't help us, we called Service Towing. They showed up in 10 to 15 minutes with two very knowledgeable people, Rob and Dave. They pulled the pickup truck and trailer out with ease and made sure we were good to go, even while risking their own equipment. We appreciate them heavily, and anytime anybody needs towing services, these are the guys I will recommend. Shout out to them and salute to them because, as I was driving home, AAA was calling me back to let me know they were sending another dispatcher out, and it would be another hour. We would have been sitting there until 5:00 a.m. waiting on someone to possibly help us out. It's always easy to do a negative review; keep that same energy when doing a positive one. Tell people about the great experiences you have. Thank you guys so much again.
Unbelievable!!! That crazy nut lady threatening the public with a gun. Hope someone press charges! Careful when you pick your vehicle, that lady can kill you if you have a camera.
I called the Madison Heights auto pound to verify that if I walked into a public area, they would not threaten to shoot me. The person who answered the phone yelled obscenities at me and hung up. Maybe that means they’re all unstable.
Charged me $215 for the tow to the pound, I picked it up 3 hours after it was towed. Why are you ripping people off ? a 1 mile tow should only cost tops $50 ! This is a city scam !
