I had a terrible experience at this Firestone location at 32670 John R Rd in Madison Heights, MI and would not recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy. I called them this morning around 7:30 AM to ask about getting an alignment done on my car. The lady on the phone was friendly enough and said they could fit me in at 2 PM. Great, I thought I showed up a bit early at 1:45 PM to drop it off. When I got there, I noticed a few customers already waiting around. I asked the staff how long it would take, and they told me about two hours. My asked if i could come back in two hours they said No problem, So I dropoff my keys and left. I came back at 3:45 PM, expecting my car to be ready or at least worked on, but it was still sitting in the exact same spot! Not only that, but the same customers from earlier were still waiting, and now there were even more people piled up in the lobby. To top it off, there was some guy in the back yelling and cussing out the poor lady at the front desk. It was completely unprofessional and made the whole atmosphere tense and uncomfortable, So i got my keys and left. This place is a total mess—disorganized, slow, and rude. If I could give zero stars or even negative stars, I absolutely would. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else!

The staff at the Madison Heights Firestone is ten stars. From the woman at intake whose courtesy and willingness were unparalleled, to Bob who filled out my service or and worked diligently to make the work I needed happen, to the mechanic who worked on my car, I felt paid attention to and completely cared for. I'm done going elsewhere.Great service!

I showed up without an appointment because my tire was flat. They fit me in and found the problem, fixed it (the valve had come loose). Could not have been nicer!

The store manger Jamie at this location is terrible person.. our van was at this location since the first week of October-December. We did complain and they had this manager call me back. She called me back on a Friday at 7 am on DRAMA. I have dates and time. We spoke very briefly about the van. She was mad that i was TOLD by the employees that there was an high functioning alcoholic name David who was working on the van. He was in and out the hospital. As soon as she spoke about David, i told her that her employees said he was an alcoholic and in the hospital.S he Cut me off and called me a liar. I Couldn’t get another word in , She said what she had to say and hung up on me. She then called my husband and threaten to not work on the van because i went to corporate. I had a very bad panic attack after she called me. Im a teacher and i had to take a break before i went into my class. I have never been disrespected by a person of service. She was too emotional. I was told that man was a high functional alcoholic and he was in and out of the hospital. Jamie also told me he was in the hospital and that she was going to transfer the van to sterling hts. the whole company was telling that mans business.. She also wouldn’t release any more info to me and its MY van. She only wanted to talk to my mother who was paying. I never disrespected Jamie, never cursed at her, All i did was complain to corporate about what i was told. The van had already been at firestone for a month. She send the van back to us a month later and said they could not fix I only waited to send this email because i don’t know what that woman would do when it was in her care. Please don’t have this woman contact me ever again.

I had an appointment today for a wheel alignment. When I arrived, the man at the front desk took my key no information provided. After waiting an hour and a half with no update, I went back to ask about the status of my car. I was told they would take it “soon,” and the response was delivered with noticeable attitude. Due to the long wait and poor customer service, I would not recommend going there. I also so see so many review with 1 star and now I understand.

John made me whole day! I was very worried about my car. Brought it to him in a panic today. He fixed my car and even reattached my wiper blade that fell off lol had me out in less than 20 mins! I am grateful and appreciate of his honesty and great service!!!!!! :-)

Went to Belle tire cause I always go there. But they gave me a price and when i got the money and came back they told me another price. I said you told me a price earlier and went and got the money then you tell me more. The arrogant man said sorry go to Firestone maybe they will help you. I did. The older man quoted me 10.00 to change my tire. But ended up fixing my other tire to. For 30.00. With no hesitation! Sure I had to wait but that was ok. Every worker there was so nice and hospitable. I recommend if you need tires or anything there. That is the place for you. Thank you Madison Heights Firestone you saved my day. And I greatly appreciate it. You will always get my business and I will recommend you to everyone.

Dishonest and disrespectful branch of Firestone. I took my Mazda3 for oil change with around 35k miles on it. At around 38k miles, the warning signal came up saying the 'low engine oil level'. Upon checking I realized the engine oil was actually low and I was afraid if something wrong with my engine. I changed the oil with correct amount and have been driving, I am at around 45k miles and oil level still good. That shows that they didn't change the oil at all or cheated with the oil quantity. Their dishonesty or negligence (whatever) would have costed me thousands. I also have the lifetime wheel alignment with them. I recently went to this branch for wheel alignment appointment. I had my appointment booked well in advance for 4pm. After generating the work order, they didn't even touch my car for 2 hours. I could see that the car didn't even move an inch in the parking lot. What's the point of booking an appointment! Meanwhile at least 3 other customers came in after me, they knew some technicians or friends with them. And they immediately got attention and priority. They do lot of favoritism. If this branch is only for 'Friends and Family', do mention it before appointment, so that people can book appointment at actual firestone shop. Upon asking for update on my car, the staff member over there (Tony specifically) was very rude and threatening. I have been long time customer of Firestone since my first car in 2018 and always had good experience in other branches. I would say save precious car and time by going to this branch. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I brought my 80,000 mile tire that only has 45,000 miles on them to have a slow leak fixed. I was told that the leak could not be fixed because the tred was worn down too much and I would need a new set of 4 tires. I told the service representative that the tires were under warranty and that they should have 40,000 miles left. He then told me he could warranty one tire and I will need to purchase the other three. I informed the representative that I am going to leave a poor review on my YouTube channel and as soon as I said this the manager who was listening in on our phone call said that I have no right to slander Firestone auto care. I informed the manager that the truth is not slander and I told her not to do anything with my truck and I was coming to get it. When I arrived the manager told me that the reason she couldn't warranty the tires is because the hole was in the side wall. I took my truck to a mechanic shop and he patched my tire and said the small hole is not close to the side wall and he was able to fix it without any problems and told me I have plenty of tire tread left. I will definitely not recommend to anyone to purchase any type of additional warranty with their tires because Firestone Compleat Auto Care doesn't honor them. Or worse they were being dishonest with me to get me to spend another $1500 on a set of tires I dont need. Very dissatisfied with my experience at the Madison Heights, Michigan Firestone Complete Auto Care.

Fast, good value, excellent customer service, competent technicians. My vehicle is now three years old and I needed new tires and a new battery. Tired of paying dealer service fees, I went to my neighborhood Firestone. They have a revolving credit card that made it very easy!

As a first time customer I was made to feel welcome right at home. It was very professional quick and efficient service. Bobby and Jamie were beautiful. Excellent customer service and professional, but above all friendly.

I recently visited this workshop for a battery replacement, wheel balancing, and a general inspection of my car. While the staff seemed professional at the time, I later discovered a serious oversight: the air filter was not refitted after service. I ended up driving the car for 7 days without an air filter, which could have caused damage to my engine. From the first day after service, I also noticed an unusual “shhh” sound, which I now realize was because of the missing air filter. This kind of mistake is very concerning, as the air filter is a basic but critical component for engine protection. Customers trust a workshop to handle their cars with care and attention to detail, and missing something so essential shows a lack of proper quality checks. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures better supervision, so other customers don’t face the same risk.

Don't go to Firestone. Hey, they are run like absolute garbage. Everyone will give you attitude and tell you that it's your fault. They can't fix your car. Every other mechanic shop I've been to in my whole life. Will try to fix your car. At least try. They'll take a look at it and tell you what's wrong with it. This is the only place where they'll make an excuse and tell you that they don't have the right technician. Have you come back and then charge you more for the right technician? That doesn't do the work right. Good luck going anywhere else

Caught them in a huge lie that could have left me liable, a crazy lie that left me without my work vehicle. Reporting it to Hertz. Bunch of liars and despicable people. Idk why they would do that and I was extremely nice to them.

I had a great experience at this Firestone location. It was after 5:00pm when I got there and needed to have my wife’s flat fixed. Due to the placement of the nail and being an all wheel drive SUV, I ended up needing 4 new tires. The price was fair and Bob and his lead tech stayed a bit past closing time to get me back on the road that evening. Highly recommend.

I was told my tire could not be repaired, and the cable for my spare tire was left hanging down. Other drivers informed me it was dragging. After going to another location I was informed the tire could be repaired. And it was. I could have spent hundreds of unnecessary dollars on wrong information. I don’t always take other people advice on things but I must say they were correct about when they said do not go to Firestone. This is my personal experience.

Came to the store today, treated coldly by the female manager. Male manager was warm, not the lady. I dont need that type of attitude when I'm spending money on tires/repairs and such. I can find better places to spend my money

Dropped my car off as soon as they opened on Thursday. Waited to mid afternoon Monday and they still never looked at my vehicle. Wouldn't recommend if you want your vehicle done in a reasonable time.

John was great help and my tires now have 100% fewer bolts in them so I can’t complain! Got new tires at a decent price for the value. Wait time was 3 hours but that’s not their fault that they’re busy on a Sunday afternoon midday. New tires look and feel great.

I came here for a lifetime alignment service and they said it's going to take 2 hours and I had wait 5 hours to get my car. Don't go here for any service. I made a very bad choice.

Came in for AC check last year, they had to put dye in and the gentleman told me to come back when it starts to get low again. I asked him if there is a charge to check again he told me there is no charge. I called last week to make an appointment for it to be checked again and asked again if there would be a charge and Bobby told me there’s only a charge if they have to remove things from the vehicle. Today I walk in and the store manager tells me she will have to charge me again for AC check because it has been more than 12 months since the dye went in. At no point was that communicated. She was also very rude when I told her her employees at 2 different times said there would be no charge

We brought our van in to have the alternator replaced and had an extremely disappointing experience. Less than three miles after picking it up, the temperature gauge spiked dangerously high, and we noticed steam coming from under the hood—likely caused by coolant spraying throughout the engine compartment. Upon inspection, we discovered that the radiator hose had not been reconnected. To make matters worse, we received conflicting information about who actually worked on the vehicle. This is especially concerning because certain repairs were supposed to be performed only by an ASE-certified mechanic. If an ASE-certified technician did complete the work, it's deeply troubling that such a critical oversight occurred. We attempted to escalate the issue and were told the area manager would contact us. Instead, we were reached by a representative who was covering for the area manager, who happened to be on vacation at the time of the incident. Despite multiple follow-ups with both the store manager and the representative, we are still waiting to hear from the area manager directly. Fortunately, the vehicle was later inspected and appears to have avoided lasting damage. However, this entire experience has been extremely frustrating and has raised serious concerns about the quality control and accountability at this location.

My recommendation would be to get rid of all appointments as they are useless and just serve on a first come basis.

EDIT: I spent $100 at Joes auto in RO and 45mins under my glove box using youtube. Don’t let this place charge you for 4 hours of labor on a blower motor that is underneath your glove box. *_______________*_____________* I’ve been going to these guys for years; just got a quote on a blower motor with install. $250 for the blower motor and $400 for labor. Guys this is a 60 minute job and at most online a $65 blower.

Worst Firestone ever I always come here with the expectation of getting a better service but every time it’s bad I come in with appointments and still have to wait over hour and half just for them to take my car in. Like this is the worst service I’ve ever gotten besides dealer. Main reason coming to Firestone is for better service but it’s never that. Never coming back here again!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone busy talking nobody is busy working

OK I’m back! Finally got my car back after many starts and stops. Kamul is very good snd I believe him to be very honest. That car/ loaner was only transportation (see pictures) but it saved me $$ and was free. The extent of the damage was very expensive but I trust the management it was all necessary! I walked out the door 5K poorer and with a 2 year guarantee on the work performed! I need to go back for one part on back order in one week. I’m still going to recommend using this location. I will get back if any problems but for now…. Give them a opportunity and you will be treated respectfully!
