Jimmy did a great job, he removed my battery, tested it, appropriately assessed the problem at hand and reinstalled my vehicle with a new battery. Jimmy was great and all around great employees here.
What a great team at O'Reilly's in Clawson. Needed new windshield wiper in the middle of an on again off again snow storm's driving challenges. I was greeted as soon as I walked inside. I explained my purchase and installation need and was very nicely told my options. I made my decision and the salesman went out immediately to do the installation, Another employee came over to completion the transaction. Within less than 15 minutes, I was able to make my purchase decision, pay for it and have the product installed. The sales team was so courteous, efficient and patient with someone who knew squat about wipers. Needless to say, I will continue to use the O'Reilly Clawson store. Linda
Shelf Pricing didn't match what I was rang up for. As a result they would honor my $5 off coupon. Very Poor customer Service Skills. Wouldn't make it right and cursed while I walked away. Manager needs additional Customer Service Training. I would stay clear of this location!!
Tommy is always kind and takes care of customers! I needed new wipers blades, and told me they had a BOGO on some Bosch wiper blades. It's service like this that keeps me coming back to this location!
Assistant Manager James is not only knowledgeable, competent and hard working, he is also patient when explaining things to his customers when they don’t know nearly as much as he does.
My battery was installed by James and because my customer service experience here was so excellent I will look for opportunities in the future to make this place my primary automotive parts store.
This happened a while ago but I bought a new battery for my car. It lasted about 10 months. I took it in and they wouldn't honor the warranty. They said it took a charge so they couldn't replace it. Mind you, the charge wasn't enough to start my car. I had the paperwork from my mechanic regarding this with proof that it was a bad battery but they still would not replace it.
Pretty good selection of auto parts and related items for the consumer. I like the free service they provide to install new windshield wipers on your vehicle when you purchase them there. Curtis was very helpful. Clean and convenient location.
The asst manager walked me to find the exact right wiper blade, mentioned they were still on “buy one get one”, was efficient, and even saw me carrying a baby car seat so offered to install the one blade. Thank you for your extra effort- you are appreciated greatly.
Helpful, knowledgeable staff offers advice and always sells me exactly what I need. More than a store, it's like an impromptu clinic in car maintenance and repair for novice garage mechanics.
Had a broken headlight and James literally fixed it within 30 seconds! Amazing service and hospitality compared to the Madison Heights location. We’ll be back!
O'Reilly either had the part in stock or could get it from the local warehouse inventory on two different occasions, while its competitors could not. James, the manager at this location, is very helpful and knowledgeable. When I called the store, he knew exactly what I needed and checked to be certain that it was on the shelf. Ultimately, it turned out that I couldn't use it, but the return was no problem.
Great experience. Had issues with truck not starting. Curtis performed a battery /starter/alternator test. Determined battery and starter failed. Got me a new battery and he installed it. Quality service !! Much appreciated Curtis
I bought a wiper motor for my Lincoln Town Car and will taking the old one off I found a bad wire, so I fixed that and it worked. So I no longer needed the new wiper motor, so i tried to return it the same day. At first they said they would, then they realized they didn't have enough cash in the drawer to refund my money so then I was told they couldn't refund it because their was nothing wrong with it. I will never go back to O'Reilly's again. Autozone would not of had a problem with a refund. I will know better were to go next time. To the Owner: Sorry, there will be no future because I will never step into your store again.
Writing to share my experience with Cody at this location. I went in to get a new light bulb for my Ford Escape. Cody was helping me find the exact bulb and realized there were two different variants available. Rather than let me buy one and potentially get all the way home with the wrong bulb, we went out to my car together, he removed the burnt out bulb from my car, determined which one it was, and replaced it right there in the parking lot. Better customer service than you could ask for. Thank you Cody!
Stopped in to just get a new cabin and engine air filter. Anna was great! She was approachable, courteous, and overall a great help. O’Reily’s has always been the best around. I’ll be coming back for sure. Thank you Anna!
Stopped in today to get a check engine code after being turned down elsewhere. Glad auto zone turned me down though because Stan was so awesome, helped me out right away and set my mind at ease about the problem and its severity vs my two hour drive home. I unfortunately didn’t need to purchase anything but I’m sending every one I know on the east side to this store because a really nice guy took time out of his day to help me and did a great job!
I will never come here again for anything. Came in recently with a question and the two guys behind the counter would hardly listen to what I was saying. They kept asking me the same questions over and over even after I explained everything to them, and the tone they used was as if I was dumb and should just know everything already. One of the guys even made a comment implying that the shop I take my car to for repairs may have done something shady - with absolutely no proof. My mechanic is honest and would not do what that guy was suggesting. It was offensive and so unprofessional. Never again! Have a little respect!
I walked in and none of the 3 employees greeted me. One was in the phone but the other 2 looked at me and walked to the back. I waited about 5 minutes, then the 1st employee asked what I needed. When I explained what I wanted, they were very dismissive and said my item was not 'needed.' Well, to me it was and this option was not needed! After two unpleasant interactions, I opted to leave and visit a different auto supply store.
Went in to have my battery tested as I just had to jump it. The gentleman that opened the store today came out and said it was a bit low. Recommended I try cleaning the battery posts. Great Customer Service - my go to place from now on !
Tried to return a trickle charger, it was within 30 days and I had the receipt. Guy at the counter took one look at me and said NO RETURNS. Did not even ask if I had the receipt or ask any questions, it was just NO, flat out. I am very convinced this was a racial hit on me. I wish I could take back all the money spent at this horrible store. The store manager, who sold me the trickle charger stood right there and insisted, NO RETURNS. What a shame
Anyway, I was able to return the item to another store, the reps there know their job and treated me like a paying customer.
Dave and Katie went above in beyond helping me locate a proper wiper blade and helped me install it after I couldn't figure it out. Plus is was 10° outside! I will go out of my way (there are three closer locations to my home) in hopes of getting their excellent service again.
