Bob is a true car guy! He has been in the business a long time in various roles and knows his products. Also one of the nicest and most honest people you'll ever meet. I know the old stigma " honest and used car salesman" dont go together, but Bob is the exception to that. He wont put you in a bad vehicle. Don't buy from any other small used lots, go to Clawson, see Bob, get a great deal, and know you made the right choice!

I do not often write reviews, but in this case I felt I must write one! Because of a great opportunity to purchase a car from a family member, I found myself in the position having to sell my car. Not wanting to sell the car on my own, I decided shop for an auto dealer to sell my car to. I had gone to a large car dealer and they offered me a very fair price. I then remembered passing Clawson Auto Sales many times. Not knowing anything about them other than it looking like a nice store from the outside, I stopped in to see what they would offer me. Never having dealt with a pre-owned lot and having met someone several years ago that sold pre-owned cars I was somewhat skeptical. Once I entered Clawson Auto Sales, I was completely surprised at how nice and comfortable the store looked and how nice the staff was. I met Bob (the owner) and we talked for some time. Bob had a look at my car and made an offer I felt was very fair. Besides his fair offer, I found myself wanting to do business with him. From what I could tell, Bob was a very nice person that was very honest. My suggestion to anyone reading this.... If you're in the market for a pre-owned car, I would absolutely recommend you visit Clawson Auto Sales. You won't be disappointed!

I typically hate shopping at used car lots. You probably know all the old stereotypes. The price gouging...the haggling...the unexpected vehicle issues that you discover a week after the purchase. I experienced none of that here, in fact quite the opposite. A very friendly group of people who didn't press us to buy anything but allowed us to just look around and test things out. Which works well for them because the vehicles on this lot are quality. They are also priced fairly. The process to pay for the vehicle was also very relaxed. They were very transparent and treated us like real people. I ended up buying a car off the lot that fit my needs. It was a very organic, no pressure buying process. I appreciate the ethical service I received and the quality car I now own. Thank you Clawson Auto Sales for being "old-school," in the best way possible.

We just purchased a vehicle here and I have to say it was a great experience. There was a vehicle we were interested in and when we came to see it, they were so informative. No pressure into buying at all. Ami was great to work with and has phenomenal customer service. Our family is so happy with our new vehicle and the process of getting it was so easy!

Have to say what an easy and professional dealer to do business with! Called them about Dodge Dakota, told them I would be there In 15/mins and I was. They Didn’t haggle me, make wait & wait none of that, gave me a great price, then we talked about a trade in, they gave me a great price for my trade in, from start to finish from the test drive to signing final docs less then 1/hour! Sales manager Ami is amazing and the owner Bob is great and super fair! I will being more business here in the future! My experience with Clawson Auto Sales was very positive: honest, quick and no surprises. I had contacted Clawson Auto Sales after being temporarily furloughed during COVID and then hired back strictly as a remote (from home) worker. I was looking to sell the vehicle I had purchased in 2018 because I just didn't want to continue making 2 more years of monthly payments for a car I was literally driving one day a week for groceries and errands. I was delighted to find a Honda Civic at Clawson Auto Sales because I had loved the first Honda Civic I owned - I test-drove it to my mechanic who inspected it and recommended I purchase it. Trading in my vehicle to purchase the Honda was seamless and I am extremely relieved and pleased to be driving a car I truly enjoy and to have no more monthly car payments!

Top notch service!!! After placing a call and scheduling an appointment for next Monday, I was able to speak to Bob over the phone who politely and without a problem changed my appt to an appointment on Saturday so I did not miss an opportunity at a vehicle I'd been looking at. Upon arrival we were met by Kim, he is a very nice gentleman and was very straightforward with a few minor issues they were touching up on the Jeep. I can guarantee that these people will not sell you a lemon. The Jeep I was looking at was in great condition, and the price was very reasonable. As I stated they will not let the vehicle go into your hands with any issues that they know of. Very professional. Definitely the type of people you WANT to do business with. Test drive was great. They even kept the vehicle for the remainder of the weekend to be sure all the minor details were fixed. I will be picking it up Monday to take it home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I just bought my dream car from them and the whole experience was amazing. Even after I failed to qualify for financing they still worked with me until I finally got what I wanted. They are more than willing to help you get the car you want and on top of that all the cars on the lot are in perfect condition. My husband loved my car so much that he is going to get his from there too.
