I went in about a month ago for some spark plugs for an older boat no less. It was about a hour before close on a Saturday. I was greeted at the door and an employee asked how I could be helped. Two out of the three employees jumped right into action to help me find some older spark plugs. I was pleasantly surprised to find an auto shop that seemed genuinely interested in helping me get the correct parts. Not like AutoZone where they tried to sell me the highest priced battery in the system for my truck...no thanks. Give these guys a chance if you can and support a smaller business.
This area of auto parts and great people are best at next year's Gratiot cruiz they have most thing on the shelf for a correct emergency repair call them now and place your request they will most likely have all youn needs ready before your tires enter their parking lot. Please just remember it's about to get cold watch out for the black ice on that first snow so it's a good time to place your order when you're sitting down somewhere just be careful in your travel to the parking lot and then back home, saftylife
Great store. Their sign says it all! They didn't have the part I needed in stock but in less than an hour, they got it in and I had it in hand! Thank you staff. You went above and beyond.
This parts store is a life saver for people like me and my friends. I just went there with Brian the other day because he needed rotors, brake pads, ball joint, fuel injectors. I know if he would of went to Auto Zone he would have paid at least double probably triple. I know when I got an estimate for my 2006 Equinox auto zone wanted about $100 each for rotors which is alot too much. Brain paid $35 each for his rotors at united auto parts, U CAN'T BEAT THAT!! ILL BE GOING THER SOON TO GET MY CAR PARTS!!
I have been getting my auto parts at United since 1974! Many of the counter guys have been there for many years! They know their stuff. Also a competent machine shop service.
Had a curbside order to pick up. When I called to let them know I was parked and ready for them to bring my car battery. I was told that I can just come inside. I was a little curious why they would offer curbside service and suggest I come in instead. I came in the store was given the battery. A man was in the store coughing without a mask. He left the store I had to pass where he was coughing to leave the store. He was parked right next to me coughing profusely no mask. I felt very uncomfortable. I called the store and was told the guy was the owners son and he was working in the store and it was just a smoker's cough. I said with everything that is going on he shouldn't be coughing all over the place without a mask. Also if you offer curbside why suggest a customer come in the store?
I've been going to United Auto Parts for well over 20 years. I own a unique older work truck now. It's a 1979 GMC P35, most places aren't sure what his vehicle is. Lance not only knew my specific vehicle, but walked me through a vehicle repair that I was unfamiliar with. Super friendly staff, with a tight repair budget, they didn't have me purchase unnecessary parts or services. I can't recommend them enough
Great place, I pulled the rear driveshaft on my Jeep and took it it. They removed the old u joints and pressed in new ones for a very reasonable price . Saved me a lot of time and headache doing it myself with hand tools and a workbench. 1 day turn time I would recommend this place. Workers are also much more knowledgeable than the big chain store employees. Parts prices are also very competitive.
They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They also have the best prices. If a specific item is out-of-stock, oh, you can prepay for it by phone and they will order it for you. If it is in their warehouse oh, you can actually pay for the item at the store and go pick it up at the warehouse. Have always had an excellent experience, particularly with Mike.
Great place ...well stocked & you can check online for the part you need. I didn't have to go there only to be told they're out of the part I needed & have to come back. The staff is friendly, courteous & I would highly recommend them to anyone😀
Best parts store in Macomb County HANDS DOWN! If you don't know something they can probably tell you. They also have an in house "machine shop". Something none of the chain stores have. They also have a standard of quality you can trust. You can't buy garbage parts here. They are not offered.
Great service associates. Knowledgeable and straight forword. If they have the answers they'll tell you. Wholesale prices keep me running back for more. Savings of 2 or 5 dollars on everything makes me happy.

when I called them up to possibly order a part they were extremely helpful and understanding (I'm a girl that knows nothing about cars). I talked to two different people and they were both very nice and provided me with a lot of helpful information.
