Every time I go here, the person in charge is always rude and never friendly. We asked if they ever bought antiques to which she said yes she will if something she deems desirable. We had an antique fold down table and an antique sewing table with singer sewing machine. In great condition. She said there was no market. She didn’t even want to look so we offered them to her for free!!! To which she also said there’s no market. In her usual rude condescending way. I’ve lived here for 10 years. Been to the store about 5 times. She’s always unpleasant. 2 stars because they do have some nice items.
Variety from years past, auctions, etc. Recommend getting a map of antiquing from the table on the left side, as soon as you walk in. Go explore! There's multiple rooms, don't forget to go to the right too. Owner is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and kind! Took a local business owner in with me. Mentioned the store next to Grooming by Miranda Grand Opening yesterday to at least 10-20 business owners/operators attending the event. Many people came from the grand opening. The relationship and respect I felt will keep me coming back!!
I love going in the store and looking at all the assortment of antiques. I had been adoring this Morton Salt tin advertisement sign for sometime dated back to the 1920’s era. I was able to purchase and had the perfect place to hang it in my dining room.
This is a really nice store with a good vibe. However almost everything is priced 2-3x what most would consider reasonable. There were lots of things I liked but put them back because the prices were just not in the realm of reality.
We were in the area for the weekend and stopped here on our way home. It is really a lovely shop and friendly service. There were alot of great things in the store and we really enjoyed our stop.
Lovely store. Went in just to "see" walked out with an antique lock, iron and a thermostat. Has a little bit of everything you can image. The owner was very friendly. If you are in the neighborhood stop by.
Great stuff! Such a variety of things! If you're looking for that perfect piece to tie a room together or decorate a whole house, they have it. Some awesome furniture too. Inventory changes constantly. Worth a stop.
The people here are nice and welcoming. They greet you when you first walk in. There is a good selection of items here. From books to furniture and everything in between.
The staff member I talked 2 was very helpful & friendly. I believer her name was Karin or Corrina, please 4give my 4getfulness, she was a very elegant, older lady. She gave me useful information & the name of the quaint shop's owner which is Beth Murawski. Will stop by again next time I'm in the area & hopefully meet the owner this time.
There is so much to look through in this store. The person who was there was knowledgeable about items in the store. Nice place to find that hidden gem.
Interesting place but everything in the shop was old!
They have furniture, books, light fixtures, architectural items such as doors and trim and hardware, strained glass windows, advertising, trinkets, and on and on.
If you are an antique enthusiast you should go at least once and check it out.
I purchased 2 oak dressers , the owner indicated they were her personal dressers I paid a $100 for both of them and when I got them home one of the drawers had fallen out and you could see a big hole in the dresser right beneath the drawer not only that 1 of the other drawers were unrepairable I was very disappointed over all and would never buy anything from them again. I'm very disappointed in the integrity and the waste of money
This shop has so much to browse and purchase when it comes to antiques of all varieties. We were particularly looking for some hanging decor, which we found but opted against. We collect antique chocolate candy molds and this shop had a variety of them availabe that were not knock offs or copies. Nothing unique stood out to add to our own collection, but most of them were in good shape and ready for purchase. I highly recommend the antique shopper in everyone to visit and peruse, there is enough to appease anyone.
They just lost a sale AND a new customer because they wouldn't take my credit card due to a $15 minimum. The item I wanted was $10. Hope that extra $5 was worth losing a sale and a building a relationship with a possible repeat customer, which would be a bad business move considering we're building a house here and are looking to furnish it with antiques. Prices were exorbitant as well. Cute place and stuff though.
Above average antique shop. There is something special about this place. Beth owns everything so there are no consignments. She has obviously put her heart into design and display. Stop in. . .it is worth it.
Have always loved the place. However it's been a while since I had been in. They just keep getting better all the time. Found what I was looking for plus so much more.
Some really amazing stuff! Old coke signs and other valuables for sale...some stuff is overpriced other things are good. Definitely worth checking out.
