I contacted Alpine Auto Care after I was provided an outrageous quote at Ed Koehn Chevrolet in the Sparta area. The dealership attempted to take advantage of my situation as my vehicle needed an alternator replaced and was broken down far from home. Alpine auto care offered me the same service for approximately $500 less (which included the tow to their business). They also completed the job within 24 hours of the time I called them. I would highly recommend using them when you need service. Appears to be a family business that is well ran and treats costumers with kindness and respect. They easily could have taken advantage of my situation when it came to the quote, however they proved to be fair with rates and operate with integrity.
They answered all my questions with vary great detail. The work was done quicker than I expected. There is nothing I would change. Great place and great people. Glad to have them in Sparta.
Glad I found this place. I’ve used them twice now. I have older vehicles and two different places in town wanted to replace catalytic converts to fix the problem and glad I didn’t. Alpine auto care determined it was a different easy fix that was sooting up the converters and if I would have just replaced the converters they would have gone bad again. It pays to find some place that can properly diagnose and aren’t just part changers.
While I like to do my own maintenance and repairs on my 2011 pickup sometimes I don’t have the equipment, tools, or time. With a recent move to the Sparta area I needed a new mechanic that I could count on. My first experience with Alpine Auto Care was outstanding. They got me in quickly, had reasonable rates, and didn’t try to upsell me. They let me know what needed to be done and what didn’t. I will return for future repair needs.
Second trip to Alpine Auto Care was good as the first. They root caused the issue I had day one, communicated what needed to be done, had the part and repair completed day two.
Tara and Rich did another oil change and tire rotation on my car. In addition they cleaned my throttle body and replaced a defective wheel bearing leading to check brake alarm and inadvertent abs brake firing off. They made all the repairs as discussed and everything is operating as intended. Great work by Rich and his team at Alpine Auto!

My alternator went out on my way to work and I was able to get the car to Rich and the folks at Alpine Auto Care and they graciously got me fixed up that day, on a Friday. Tremendous service always. A++ Can’t thank them enough!

The people at Alpine auto are knowledgeable, friendly and fast.!They take the time to explain how different parts of the car function and the effect that accure when parts are not working properly. I love that they talk you through all the possibilities of what could be wrong a start with the least expensive fix instead of the most costly! They truly are straight forward and have their customers best interest at the forefront. I highly recommend them!

After a recommendation from a patient to check out AAC, I stopped in one day and received an estimate. I said my truck needed all new shocks and a tune up. ($2300) I let them know who referred me and that I’ve only heard great things so that’s why I’m trying them out. The lady told me that my estimate would be less than what it was after her father (the main mechanic) reviewed it. Since I was a referral, I was supposed to receive some type of discount?? ( I never asked about it, she told me that’s what would happen)
We scheduled about 3 weeks out for a Wednesday because they don’t work on Fridays and I wanted to make sure my car would not take all weekend.
Such fast turnaround time, my truck was ready the next day. Everything seemed good…. Until the trailer break system alert kept going off. Randomly dings. And then my truck was smelling like gas! I had my friend’s husband who knows a thing about cars, take a look.
He quickly diagnosed it and I brought it to his dad’s shop the next day. A whole new fuel pump was replaced. An additional $737 that I had to spend at another shop.
The hassle to me wasn’t worth it. Had I known that the mechanics weren’t going to fix everything that was wrong or at least mention that my fuel pump was rusted out so I could get it replaced, just seems careless.
As a woman, I went in there not knowing what all was wrong with my vehicle but under the impression that I would be educated on the status of my trucks ware and tear.
I’ll just take my truck elsewhere in the future.

Best experience in a very long time! I was quoted a price for my vehicle and even though the wrong part came in, I was not charged for anything and even though I had to wait for the right part to come in it was still fixed for the amount agreed upon and even had a little extra work done free of charge. Great company to do business with and will be taking my vehicles there for many years to come. Great people, excellent service, and knowledgeable. Excellent combination.

This shop said Bring in the vehicle so it can be looked at because they did repairs before and said he wanted verify it wasn’t the work they previously had done. Then they charged to look at it not telling us that there’s a fee. On the phone trying to get everything figured out guy says Oh not body does free estimates, ABSOLUTELY WRONG! BELLE TIRE AND LENTZ DO!
They are good people and would check out any vehicle for any reason at no cost to the customer!
So our opinion is DO NOT GO HERE! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE SHORT ON FUNDS AND TRYING TO MAKE ENDS MEET!
I could not get my vehicle in anywhere for weeks due to no available appointments, but Alpine Auto Care got me in within 2 days! They were prompt, communicative and friendly. They did an excellent job changing my brakes and fixing a coolant leak and had it done same day! Would recommend to anyone!
Very friendly and cheerful front desk! She made the time fly as I got my vehicle inspected! They gave me detailed explanations as to what was wrong and estimates for getting it fixed! The friendly mechanic even checked out my rear wiper post-inspection (as I forgot to mention it beforehand). If you want to go somewhere you feel like family, this is the place!
