Took my truck in nov it was the back pressure pipe they fix it for a price well ck engine light came on feb 9th took it to autozone it was just for the back pressure sensor again took in didn't hear anything in 2 days so I called they said we haven't even got to it so I just went to pick up my truck i got there they said that guy on phone didn't know they started rewiring some melted wires never got a call or got permission to work on it now the ck engine light still on with 5 different codes so I paid for unauthorized work to have more codes then when I brought the truck to them yes I did take it to autozone and thats the only code it showed now have 5 different codes yes I brought it back since it wouldn't even shift or go anywhere when you accelerated and I never agreed or got a phone call stating what was wrong just started working on it were the problem was with the back pressure sensor not melted wires
I had 4 Michelin tires installed today. It was the best tire install I have ever experienced. They also had better pricing as compared to the big box tire chain stores. Great experience and great people.
16,349 miles from home and the front end started shaking. We were on a trip with our 3 teenager Texas grand children when we become concerned about the safety of our vehicle. Mike worked us in; the repair tech said after aligning the front end he would drive that vehicle cross country with his family. Whew! What a relief. We were camping in the area and had a tire blow out. They had it in stock, and were able to get it put on the rim same day. Super good customer service, professional, and effective. I highly recommend.
Thought I would have to go several places bfore I could find someone to look at a tire. Went to Janis first because I had purchased tires there under previous owner. They took me right away and fixed my tire - in and out in less than a half hour! Great service!
I went to my dealership in Traverse City for my standard service and oil change with my vehicle that has not even 29,000 miles on it. They told me I needed an alignment and soon would need brakes. This after trying to tell me I also needed an air filter I just replaced myself at the previous oil change. I was heading across state to see my Dad whose health is failing and my family only uses Janis Tire and Auto so I immediately contacted them, told them my situation, they fit me in on a Saturday morning and not only confirmed the specs the dealership gave me were completely off, my vehicle was in immaculate shape. They went above and beyond to ease my mind for the trips I will be making. I will be bringing it back it to them in the future when I can because if you want honest, someone to explain and all around great service, this is the place to go! Thank you Janis Tire & Auto!

Once again the crew at Janis has a great job for me, I took my powerstroke to them not knowing what was going on, my plow was stuck to one side, truck keep dying and it was acting crazy. Within a few short hours they let me know exactly what was wrong, gave me a more than reasonable quote, then shortly after that I was back on the road making money. Don’t think I’d take my diesel anywhere else. Thanks again Jeff and the whole crew! You guys are the best!
Great prices. Great service. I am not from the area. We found them from a Google search. I called at 4pm and they got us in for a bad tire. Was out by 4:40. Honest, reliable and beyond fair pricing. I will stop there again if I ever need anything automotive related when I'm in the area.
Got an alignment here, after a couple months I had really bad wear on 1 front tire. I had it looked at by another shop for them to find these guys never tightened the tie rod sleeve and my outer tierod was very loose could have come out of the sleeve causing major issues possibly an accident. So be sure to have their work double checked by another shop/mechanic.
JTA is always very knowledgeable and honest with needed repairs and service. They are highly competitive with price and the staff is extremely professional. I have gotten tires, oil changes and multiple repairs done to my vehicles here. I definitely recommend Janis Tire and Auto.
These guys swapped out my wife’s tires that were a hard size to find. They were able to get them on the same day and get us back on the road for our trip. My son also loved the waiting area and got himself a JTA hat!

These guys are the BEST!!! I was in town for a few days when my car started making a weird noise. I took it to another shop in town and they quoted me 1300 dollars worth of work. I’m no car person so I took it to Janis for a second opinion. They brought me out to the shop to explain what was going on and why the other shop misdiagnosed the issue. The noise is gone and they saved me money! Highly recommend!!!!!

My Mom just had a great experience at Janis. Her car would not start and they recommended a towing service, got the car right in, and replaced the electronic ignition module and we are back on the road. Place was clean and tidy and the guys were super friendly.
I showed up without calling ahead needing new tires and a rim for my dump trailer while it was empty before I filled it again and they not only fit me in quickly to their already busy day, they had everything I needed, did everything I wanted, and at a fair price! I took my flatbed the next day and got all 4 new rims and tires. When I went to pick it up, they changed the wiper motor on my truck! This place is great! I see why they're always busy...
Janis tires have exceptional service. They know me by name and not just a number. They are very quick at getting my vehicles done rather it be tires, oil, shocks and struts, even ball joints with no issues. The best thing is I don't have to come back because of their failure like all other shops I've been to. They know what they are doing. And the prices are very reasonable! I recommend Janis Tires to anybody local or just driving through. Totally worth the stop.

Absolutely amazing! Always quick and super informative when explaining exactly what is going on and what is needed. They have an amazing shop with wounderful employees that care a lot for you. I needed my car oil change and I felt bad it was so close to closing but they got everyone together and finished right away! I was so happy to have it done and even the brakes checked real quick. Absolutely wonderful and the best Mechanic's I've had. I plan to come back for every car issue I have.
