Helpful staff. Let me use their tools to swap out a quad battery so I could make sure it fit and leave the old one for recycling. 4 stars because prices are too high.
Called to see if they would price match on a product. Manager said he would got there and he told me he couldn’t. Drove all the way there when I made it a point that if they wouldn’t price I would go where the product is significant lower. Terrible service, even had an attitude about me showing multiple places with the lower price.

Great service. They found the light I needed and even lent me their socket set to change the bulb. This was a great help as I was on a roadtrip and had no access to tools.
Guys I dealt with at AutoZone help me out when my vehicle broke down 2 hours away from home. I can't say enough about Connor and Wayland, their professionalism and their willingness to help out a total stranger that had a string of bad luck with their vehicle. I woke up to a dead battery. I was able to jump my car and went to Auto Zone. Kris was amazing! She was able to find and replace my battery in 30 minutes and get me back on the road. She is my hero.
Came in on New Year's Eve during a snow storm needing to replace wiper blades, and I didn't know how to detach and reattach (I know, I should). The staff was quick and helpful finding the right blades for my vehicle, and helped me to install the blades so I knew how to do it. Helpful, quick, and easy.
I went to Autozone on Saturday, November 30, 2024 in the afternoon for a metal brush that cleans corrosion off my car battery. Derek helped me find it on the spot. I also decided to get windshield wipers, since it has been awhile since I had replaced those. Derek helped me figure out which ones I needed for my vehicle. I asked for help installing them and he was quick to help me with that too. I had a great experience at Portland, MI’s Autozone. Thank you Derek for being so willing to help, being friendly, and down to earth. You rock!!
Special thanks to Derek who thought quick on his feet to help us out with our broken coolant fluid tank. Didn't need to waste $60 bucks on a new one. Appreciated it!

Derek at AutoZone went way above and beyond to help us when we were trying to fix my son's vehicle!!! My son is a new driver and it's his first vehicle. It ended up being a great moment for the two of us, working together to fix his vehicle.

I arrived to find the store manager juggling three customers. It's not unusual to be shortstaffed today. She was patient and very helpful. It's easy to find fault with people behind the counter today. Probably just as easy to find fault with people on the customer side of the counter. It's nice to find some old-fashioned. Good customer service in a national chain store. This may not get her a raise or a bonus but this female store manager was amazing. Thanks for the help today with the marine battery battery.
Came in with engine troubles they read the code had a misfire on cylinder 3. They had everything I needed to fix it. They let me use some tools, and we're a big help! I highly recommend this place. The customer service here was amazing! Thank you guys for all the help and support!

I went to AutoZone in Portland & Kris was the most awesome customer service representative I've ever had at any AutoZone in Michigan. She was SO helpful- ensured I had the correct bulb & even installed it for me! Kris was great! I would graciously recommend this AutoZone & Kris to anyone!
Awesome team at AutoZone Portland yesterday. Called them, went there, diagnosed my wiper problem, had the part I needed, set up repair at a nearby shop a few blocks away, dropped it off, took me home to wait, finished installing it in quick time and delivered my car back to me. Had no idea you could do all of this. Great job and thanks so much!

Dudes are great Zack is a great guy call them ahead of time just before they closed so I was on my way and he left her open for a minute or two so I can get what I needed to get the ladies vehicle done. I don't price shop anymore straight AutoZone
This places is great and so helpful. Curtis took the time to help me replace the attachments on my battery and install a new battery which was proving to be a bit tricky and did a fantastic job. Great staff and glad to have you here in Portland.
