Absolute crooks and con artists! I was quoted $65 by the woman on the phone and then the tow truck driver came out and they told me it would be $100!!! Where did the extra $35 come from? Way to take advantage of people in times of crisis
They tried to tow my friend’s car because the car IN FRONT of her was blocking someone’s driveway even though she wasn’t, probably just to be greedy. The nasty tow truck driver wrongfully made her pay $75 to unhook her car midst being towed and pocketed it just to be greedy. Stop taking money from young college women who need it the most, especially when nothing was done wrong. His greed took money away from my friend’s education I hope he feels shameful for what he did. They also work with the police, this one in particular who tried to get my friend’s car towed was not very good at his job to say the least. I would give this company a zero star rating if I could. I was there to pickup semi on Friday and Zick help with the hook up and a light issue I had. If I ever have a problem in that area he will be the first I call.
I ended up in a ditch during a snowstorm. Bob was my driver and he was fantastic! He showed up super quick and got me home safe. I highly recommend Zicks!
I called the towing number for Auto Owners Insurance Company today 5/20/24. The towing service they used told me 10 minutes or less, 2 1/2 hours later still no one. My husband went over to College Chevrolet in Albion where they called Zicks for me. He was there in 10 minutes. When the other company called they said they were still 20 minutes out. I told them not to bother since Zicks had just arrived. Thank you for this great service. They towed me to the car dealership in minutes. Don't ever use the towing through Auto Owners Insurance Company. I now have their phone number in my phone.
Needed a tow for a flat, but Zick's went above and beyond. Wrecker driver helped me look through my truck trying to find the lock nut key, and took me to two different tire shops until someone could finally help get it off.
Got into an accident, since I was unfamiliar with the area I let the county police call a towing service. Zick's showed up 15 minutes later and said it was going to be $250 just for showing up and another $50 every mile he traveled. They are located in Albion and I was one mile from Albion rd, then stated that he had to add an additional $100 because I was out in the country???. This business is not here to be a service to the public, they will rob you blind and take advantage of you when you are in an already bad situation. Not to mention the driver acted like it was a repo and wouldn't give me any real information other than a business card. If i request your service then treat me like a customer and not someone who didnt pay their car payment. The owner of this company should be ashamed of himself for taking advantage of the community he is supposed to be serving. Avoid these thieves at all costs!!!! Disgusting business practices!!!
Needed body work done. They got me right in and gave me a fair price. Wrecker service is a racket, but aren't all wrecker services? Good shop Good people
For a jump start. Not bad. $50 initial plus $4 a mile. It's fair. Expecially if you're nearby. Still comparing the prices to others around. But so far seems decent.
