First time there, everything is marked and easy to understand what you have to do. Simple process, they weigh your load and once your vehicle/vehicle and trailer have been weighed after its empty, you go to the office, and you get your receipt, which you scan in an ATM that's right there, and gives you cash. It's super efficient.
The cleanest scrap yard I’ve ever been to. Every employee I have ever came across here was amazing. The guys inside are very helpful and informative. Super simple process, on site ATM, and always organized. ATM on site and checks send fast.
Padnos in Hastings is top of its class!!! They are the nicest scrap yard you will find. The staff is friendly, and the yard and buildings are kept in pristine condition. It would be worth driving out of your way to be able to deal with this location. Highly recommend!!!!!!!
It's a comfort to have a great place to recycle all materials I have freely. It's a true comfort for me to know that it will be going to be truly recycled.
Typically don’t have a problem coming here,… But today I learned the hard way that they’re posted business hours are not accurate considering they are shut down for lunch… when you post 8 AM to 4 PM… You should be open from 8 AM to 4 PM, if you’re closed for lunch, that should be in your posted business hours. Don’t much appreciate the long wasted drive.
Friendly staff and I really appreciate the crane operator taking the heavy stuff off the trailer for me . I had a great experience from beginning to end
Always fast, friendly, and helpful service. Prices are consistently updated in timely fashion. Padnos (Hastings Michigan,) is the only yard I take my copper/metal's to.
Pat knows is a fabulous operation. Excellent place to make sure you get your scrap metal recycled and keep it out of the landfill. Also as an aspiring inventor this is a good place to get material for Proto types.
Slightly confusing for a first time visitor as to where to go and what to do but it worked out without any mistakes. Actually pretty easy now that I know how the system works. Very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely love this business! Top notch operation run by top notch individuals. The staff is wonderful they never make you feel rushed, pressured, taken advantage of or taken for granted, they don't treat their customers like a burden, they actually act like they are happy to have your business. They have utmost concern for safety, organization, and a sensible procedure all the way around. Hard to find these substantial traits these days. Keep up the outstanding work!
Professionally ran great service always helpful with information and you don’t feel like You’ve been cheated and the prices I’ve been to a few scrap yards and not one of them has very good organization Or very helpful to pull you in the right direction definitely a good place to go if you are separating your metals to get itTo get the best price

I had to have the car I was scrapping be towed in. I wanted to remove the tires, and they worked with me! I forgot to get the plate off it and a guy was already cutting it up and draining fluids and I asked him if he minded if I get the plate and he ended up doing it for me. Very pleased with how everything went!
