What clients say about D & D Towing LLC in Boston (MA)

Terrible experience with this towing company. Lady at the front desk has a horrible attitude when it comes to customer service. I needed to get a couple documents from the inside of my vehicle after a car crash and they would not allow me to retrieve the necessary paperwork from inside to start the process of the crash reports. They won’t let you inside your own property for simple personal items. Horrible customer service, no interpersonal communication skills when dealing with people who are already dealing with a stressful situation.

Was visiting friends last fall from out of state & got my car towed. I’m not mad about getting towed, as we were parked in a spot that we shouldn’t have been. However, when we went to pick up the car from getting towed, the entire back windshield along with the back right light was completely smashed out, as well as the wiper and back up camera. We know that it was done from this towing company, because the spot we were parked at pre- towing was end- to- end with another car the entirety of our stay, so there was no possible way someone could have come up and broken our rear view windshield. After reading endless reviews of damage done to other cars done from this tow company was just the icing on the cake. Despite all of this, we remained calm and kind with Glenn. I will say that he seemed genuinely sorry for us, and promised us that his boss would be in contact regarding everything the following day (which I really do appreciate his effort.) However, we never heard a word and it has now been 11 months lol…… which I can’t say comes as a surprise at this point. Just honestly disappointed- the fact that we had to pay for a new windshield, tail light, camera & motor out of our own pocket due to this company’s own fault. This may come as a surprise, but it is actually possible to be a halfway decent tow company. If we had gotten a call, explanation and reasoning why this happened and some kind of closure would be greatly appreciated. This entire experience was just beyond disappointing. It is disgusting that a business can continually get away with smashing cars & nothing is being done about it.

Last time I was towed by D&D my battery was disconnected, they said they couldn't jump it, and I had to get towed out by a different two company. It was easily jumped once off the premises by Geico. This time I have: 1) Damage to my undercarriage (pictured) this was not there before, but of course I can't prove it because I wasn't there to film it happening. How convenient. 2) This is way weirder. I had about 1/4 tank of gas when I last parked my car. I now had what my car said was "Empty" with 0 miles left, but was somehow able to get out of D&D's lot and make it to a gas station nearby, where my tank needed to be completely filled. I was SCREAMED at when I asked why I had less gas than before, as if I were making this up? I am terrified of the staff from past experiences and didn't want to have to call the cops again because of their threats that I was making up lies so I just left and didn't bother asking any further questions. I can't understand why the City of Boston continues to employ this business when they are consistently aggressive, rude and unprofessional. Oh, and someone else CHASED their car to the lot, yelling right in back of the tow truck as they had gone to move their car just as the tow driver pulled up. He was in a full suit and on the way to his grandmother's funeral. If someone is able to move their car, why torture them with a tow? It wasn't even attached to the tow truck yet. They are predatory and do not care about anything other than making money. I would rather get teeth pulled than deal with D&D.
