This place is awesome. Little hard to find so get specific instructions from owner. Garage is out back of bld even though another shop is in front. Walk out back. Well worth it. Place is awesome. Excellent work, very affordable…fixes it all. We bring our work bus here but he’s so good I bring my own autos here as well.

Honest auto shop. Mike is a trustworthy owner. Will give his opinion whether a repair needs to be OEM or if after market parts would be sufficient taking, into consideration costs and customer. My go to garage.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The attendant at this gas station was extremely rude to my wife and acted in an entirely inappropriate manner, even reaching toward her in a way that was completely unacceptable and borderline harassment. This kind of behavior is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I strongly advise others to avoid this gas station.

Had multiple annual inspections completed here and just recently had my tire patched. Great, simple, & straight-forward service!

Not too many people as mechanics that I would trust these guys were great with their work and honest with their price I couldn't be any much more happier as a customer and client, I will definitely be going back for any mechanical work and would also recommend to friends and family in general public

I just put $20 dollars cash in my car at this gas station but since my car was completely empty when I started my car there was no gas at all, I turned my car off a few times to see if there was any error but nothing happened my car still had no gas so I went back and asked the man who put the gas in my car which is new 2023 and he said yes. So I said there was no gas in my car would you like me to put it back in but this time I used my card and filmed everything and like magic when I started my car the $50 dollars I put on my card was in my car. I believe something went wrong and I will never use that gas station again

Mike was straightforward and kept me in the loop while working on my car. I went in knowing what was needed (2 upper control arms, 2 sway bar links, front and rear pads and rotors) and he didn't try selling me pointless services. He was quick with the repairs and I am very happy with the outcome. The price was very fair and I'm sure I will be back for the next major problem knowing our luck with cars.

Highly recommend! Excellent customer service. Came in unexpectedly on a Friday night when my wipers froze up in the rain and Mike had everything taken care of by Saturday morning. Mike communicated exactly what was going on and his plan to fix it so there were no surprises and called as soon as he had it finished.

I had a wonderful experience with this place. My transmission died and I was understandably stressed out, but Mike was very communicative, honest, and transparent throughout the whole process. He wasn't pushy at all and he made me feel at ease. I will absolutely be back for future auto work. Thank you!

I randomly tried this place a year or two ago and was impressed with Mike’s honest and straight forward diagnosis/quotes as well as his quality work. I never feel like I am being up-sold on anything and the turn-around is generally quick and efficient. It’s a relief finding a trustworthy mechanic! I won’t be taking my car anywhere else as long as I live in the area!

I was referred to Mike from a friend whose family has been going there for years. I’ve used Stoneham Auto Works for a couple repairs now and each time was great. Mike and his guys are straightforward, quick, and honest. Needing to have a car repaired isn’t a fun experience but Mike will take care of you.

Asked them to check out a truck I wanted to buy, focusing on rust and quality of the frame. I was told the truck was solid. 2 months later truck failed inspection for holes in the frame and rust. Repairs totaled the truck. Not sure how a professional could miss that. I'd recommend trusting someone else.

On my way home from Boston from work almost right before closing this past Friday, my Low tire Pressure came on in my 2021 Accord. I pulled in, and the owner “Mike” came out, checked all the tires, and he saw my back left tire had a nail in it. He plugged the tire, and when I asked him “How much do I owe you”, he said it’s free. These guys are awesome.

Mike is amazing. This is my go to place for all things for my cars. I trust Mike to provide me with detailed information and good prices. They do not upsell or overcharge. They always try to get us in for any repair quickly so that it fits our schedule. I always go here first before any other place for my auto repair needs.

It is an extremely stressful process getting your car repaired, especially when you aren't certain whats wrong and are scared of being overcharged or mislead. Mike and his guys are always honest and helpful. I always leave with my car working as good as new with no stress. Wonderful and honest shop, highly recommend.

My partner's Chevrolet Malibu broke down on the highway with a "Engine Power is Reduced" message. We took it to Mike at Stoneham Auto Works nearby. When Mike saw that it was a 2018 model with 19K miles, he recommended that we take it to a Chevy dealer, which would probably fix it at no cost to us under warranty. Since we did not know the area, he even directed us to a dealer 5 miles down the road. We were impressed by his honesty, professionalism, and willingness to help even though he had nothing to gain by sending us to the dealer. While we were there, I noticed our other car had an expired inspection sticker, and Mike took care of that in no time at all. A business you can trust!

I've been taking my car to Auto Works for several years, and I've always found MIke and his team to be professional and honest. They stand by their work, and they are great about talking you through what needs to be done asap vs what needs to be done but can wait. I highly recommend them!

I've been bringing my familys' cars in here for 8 years and Mike and his crew are the real deal. They've never been off in estimation of price. Not once. Great value and Mike is great at letting you know what repairs are more immediate and which can wait a bit, which helps those of us not made of money. Only time they are off on estimating time of a job is when it's early! Brought my car in yesterday for a brake job, rear wheel bearing, new battery, oil change and job was done this morning. Tires rotated, as well. Two hours before I expected! Honest, professional and friendly service. Auto Works and Mike are ones to trust.

awesome customer service. i originally went to interstate fuel because it was the first location i saw coming off the highway. the other shop did not even acknowledge me as i came in so i immediately just went next to Stoneham Auto Works because i saw that it actually had more reviews and was literally next door. the rep greeted me right when i came in and i told him i needed an inspection sticker. i also remembered i needed an oil change as well. i told him i was going to go for a walk. came back an hr later inspection was done and oil change was done. overall could not be happier with service. i honestly don't ask for and expect much other than just people doing their jobs correctly.

I have brought my cars here for several years and Mike has always been fair and honest each step of the way. His prices are competitive and he often goes above and beyond to ensure the work is done quickly and thoroughly. I most recently brought my car in for multiple jobs (sticker, break pads and wheel hub replacement) on a Monday morning. At 5pm it was not quite done and he mentioned it would take a few more hours and likely not be ready until the next morning. After asking me if I needed a courtesy car, I told him I would see if my wife and I could just make it work with one car for the day. Not even an hour later (which was after hours) I get a call from Mike telling me he put all his guys on the job and that the car was ready. It was much appreciated, especially given that we didn't have to try to arrange rides for our kids while getting to work with just one car. This is one example of Mike's customer care but not the only one in just my experience with him. I'm glad I found a place that I can genuinely trust when it comes to taking care of our cars.

Came in for an inspection sticker only to find that my wife's car needed rear brakes. Mike was able to bring her car in less than 12 hours later, do the rear brakes, do inspection sticker and an oil change(last minute requeat) all together. Mike is great! Highly recommended for great service!

This body shop is great. Mike is a good man and his team does good work. They provide a complimentary loaner vehicle and maintain excellent communication protocols for the duration of repairs/service. My wife had work done hear last year and, when my Jeep needed some love, we returned to Stoneham Auto Works without hesitation. If you’re looking for a place that will earn your loyalty, this is it.

Bought a truck and this is the only place in town that has the license to inspect it. Well they tried telling me my e-brake is and I quote “disconnected” so I brought back to the dealer and put it up on a lift and sure thing, the e-brake was perfectly fine and operational. They try to sell you on something you don’t need and when you confront them, they make up a whole story. I’d stay away. They left a bad taste in my mouth

I'd recommend anyone to come here. I work in the neighborhood and take my car here for EVERYTHING, oil changes, break changes, tires, inspection etc. Always convenient and quick drop off and repair times. Prices are great and the staff is amazing and always attentive and willing to help. Huge kudos to Mike especially!

We've gotten our oil changed here, our tires changed, and it's our go-to for gas. Everyone here, especially Mike the owner, is so trustworthy and reliable. The prices are fair and they explain everything that might be confusing. One time, I went for gas and had a low tire. The attendant offered to help me fill it and when I said I didn't have quarters for air, he pulled quarters out of his pocket for me! They're super honest, nice, and considerate of their customers.
