Team is great. I needed help identifying a part and they threw a cardboard on the floor and got under it. Tried to give them a tip, but the gentleman, Armando, said he loves his job and don't mind. He noticed my tires were uneven and directed me to different businesses in the area where I can take my vehicle. He explained tire rotation, seasonal tires, etc. Great experience, so I took my time to write this. Thanks again.

Horrible customer service. The man at the desk talked down to me and basically called me an idiot. Then said they have no staff to help with my battery and that its "too dark out to deal with it" never again

A young gentleman named Shane just assisted my wife with new wiper blades. He got her the product we wanted, and installed them on her van in the rain!!!! What a huge help as my wife is on the road running many errands with an old wiper that was coming apart. THANK YOU AutoZone and Shane!!!!

I called the store earlier in the week to ask which battery I should get and if they'll install it for free. The employee happily helped and confirmed they'd be able to install the battery for free since my car has easy access to it. After I ordered and came in to pickup the battery. The employee that helped me informed me that no one would volunteer to install the battery in the cold. While I understand that it's winter, it is very frustrating to be promised one thing, but be told another.

Worst AutoZone ever. Multiple times I have driven to this store for an item that was shown to be in stock, only to arrive and the item is not available on display, being told they do not have it, and the employees will not bother check stock. I understand that if shows one of an item that things sometimes can be mistakes, but today it was an item that this location was supposed to have THREE available. If I was responsible for a stores inventory and there were three $16.00 items missing, I would be concerned. But nobody in Stoneham is. As I said , this has happened to me MULTIPLE times at this particular location and NEVER at any other. I will just not bother even going to the Stoneham location anymore even if I have to drive further to another store.

I went into Auto Zone in Stoneham and was helped by Liam. He was very helpful and gave me great advice regarding my windshield wipers. I really appreciate the way he didn't talk down to me and just explained it in a way that was meant to advise not berate.

Staff is okay at this location but the place is small so the selections is well, small. And nothing is cheap there. Be careful pulling out of the parking lot. Their front apron is narrow and has a curb where you’d normally pull back onto Rt 28….

Bought a battery off them under warranty and they’re already giving me excuses over the phone as to how it could be my car’s alternator.. the battery is literally bulging and after jumping the car is working again; but only a matter of time before I’m stranded after work again. Am being told I need to come in to test the battery, but once I jumped the car and drove it, the battery charged back up. That doesn’t change the fact it is still physically defective and looks as though it may burst any moment. Extremely frustrated. What sort of warranty doesn’t cover defective parts?

Awful customer service. Management screamed at me for putting a little work into my vehicle. Why sell parts and allow people to use tools if they can’t do anything with any of it.

I visited the Auto Zone in Stoneham MA on July 9, 2025 to purchase a battery for my car. My nephew helped me with the installation. However we were having an issue and I asked if someone could come out and assist. There were three employees working at the time and no customers were in the store. I was told that they couldn't leave the store. In the past I have bought batteries from them and they installed it for me. Anyway, they were adamant about not coming out to help. At one point I saw one of the employees "outside " smoking a cigarette so I asked if he could come over and assist. He put his cigarette out and said he had to be in the store. If he wasn't allowed out of the store then he shouldn't have been allowed to have a cigarette. And he could of helped while he was smoking. Very unprofessional and totally disrespectful. I know that they won't miss me as a customer but I will never buy anything from them again. Apparently this store doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

Terrible service and unhelpful staff. Unwilling to assist or offer any timeline for support with simple battery testing. Employee suggested insufficient staff (“every day, regardless of time”) and to Uber elsewhere or request towing from parking lot for simple battery issue. Avoid!

Auto zone is my go to place for things that i want right nw for my car, like a few months ago I wanted a Digital Tire Pressure Gauge after using my old pencil style one which is reliable but went to the Stoneham AutoZone and the price was better than any online store!! But today, my reason for going to AutoZone was for a different reason. I was heading to NH to visit a friend and noted that the pollen count on my windshield was pretty heavy. I went to use the windshield washer and was surprised to have it empty with out a warning!! This is a 2025 Honda Pilot and I had never put in fluid in this car. I went into the AutoZone and one gentleman told me he'd help me and I bought a gallon of Windshield washer and he came out, we lifted the hood and he showed me where the fluid went on this car (as it was new to me) and helped me showing me each step with great patience. What a gentleman he was and I so appreciated his assistance, and told me to have a safe journey and i shook his hand and gave him a small gratuity for his time .. it was truly a blessing to have assistance .. when I needed it .. Placed an online order for same day delivery for a battery at 1030am - supposed to be delivered by 1230pm - then received notice delivery cancelled at 1:30pm - several calls to AutoZone driver claims can’t find my house - but I never received a call and I live on an Main Street on Route 129 with a mailbox with house number at end of driveway and on front door with a 2.5 car wide driveway that is clear - they cancelled the order - after over twenty years purchasing from AutoZone never again - I can’t pick up the battery as the battery in my car is dead - I paid for same day delivery and they claimed they could deliver-

Appreciate at least 3 employees making eye contact from behind the counter as I try and fail to open the door that is locked 15 minutes before closing, and none of them making any attempt to do anything. Please adjust hours on Google Maps to weekdays 7:30am-whenever we feel like being done.

Frank at the register is so great!! What a nice guy. I’ve been in here a few times, and I’ve had a great experience everytime. When I went to look through the catalogue to find out what wipers I needed, Frank said offered to look them up for me, just because he saw me approach the book. He’s always good with advice.

Terrible experience! I went in to ask for a battery replacement. I was told by the cashier that they had the battery in stock, I then asked if I could have it installed. An older gentleman who wasn’t even helping me walked over and said “no”. The cashier said that there wasn’t enough help. Seems odd how the other reviewers got there battery installed with no issue. I went to Advanced Auto Parts immediately after going to this Auto Zone and had my battery installed in no time.

The person at the register as well as the older worker, are more interested in talking to pretty women than helping a customer. I went to ask where a certain item was and was told he couldn't help me, but the man at the register could. There was a customer who was finishing her story. I waited and then the so called worker who couldn't help me led me to the product I needed. It said universal, but it wasn't. Then as I am finishing up paying, I mentioned I just purchased a new car. The guy at the register couldn't care less and told me to have a nice day. The store was empty besides employees. The product is awful but because I was treated do poorly, waisting 20 dollars is worth it. I will never step goit in this store again!!

Rare to see someone go the extra mile these days, but these guys did for my daughter who really needed a battery asap! I called 20 minutes before closing, they were admittedly down staffed, and still pulled out the battery she needed even though they knew she wouldn’t get there until 5 minutes before closing. She said he (Henry?) was very nice and had her back on the road 10 minutes after closing! Thanks again for restoring my faith in mankind…

I came in to get wipers for my car today, I asked the lady at the front desk for assistance. As she was looking up my wipers she was in a phone call and totally forgot about me, I asked another employee for help, his name was James and he was great. He even replaced my wipers for me with no hesitation! They need to get rid of that lady, she has no customer service professionalism and had no respect for me.

Great service inside at the counter. Bad experience when the employee pulled up next to my car in his white Chevy sonic and rammed his door into my passenger side mirror. Wasn’t a gentle tap, enough for me to get out and check for damage. Heavyset older guy that hit my vehicle walked off, and watched as I reviewed where he hit me, then went inside without a word. You’d think a place that sells car parts would have a little more respect for their customers’ cars. 1 star for the carelessness and disrespect of your employee.

My AC was in need of a charge. With the excruciating heat I needed it fixed with Freon ASAP! Today 6/8, The store manager Trey was very helpful as I arrived as one of the first customers. He put the product into my jeep without even asking! Car is now icy cold and i am very satisfied !

This place is great. I had my low beams go out and Trey and the other 2 guys in the store helped me check everything. Turned out both bulbs had burned out and Trey with his magic hands was able to replace them for me without having to take the housings off. Very impressed with the customer service and overall helpfulness

Trey Sully treated me and my car excellent today. I needed to replace my car battery. It was not a simple swap out. The battery is not very accessible but he was patient and thorough and completed the job in short order. He cleaned the terminals with liquid and brushed them clean he placed pads to help reduce corrosion. During the whole procedure he was friendly and helpful. He definitely provided 5 Star Service.

Great customer service. The gentleman with the curly hair & positive attitude provided quick, and exceptional service. He was determined to solved my auto issue when the three other auto stores within an estimated 10 mile radius couldn’t help me. Right after my 60k dealer service, I went in hoping to get a lower rate on replacing my brake system than I got at the dealer. The man at the desk did not listen to my concerns and insisted on charging me a $67.88 (approx.) fee to "assess" the car. I practically drove straight there from the dealer's! When they were done with the "55-point" assessment, I was given an $800 estimate that I was in no way ready to pay for! What would it have cost the technician/salesman to listen to my concerns and then advise me appropriately? As a customer I have the right to ask questions about what I am about to pay for. I did not learn anything new after the $70 charge, other than they "are master technicians too"(!) and the estimate. The man also told me that I seemed to not know what I wanted – when I walked in there knowing i needed to get pads+rotors, along with the hardware kits, oil and fluid. We could have had a productive conversation upfront instead of wasting time and money! It was really bad customer service today and I am highly disappointed as I write this. I have never gotten on the internet to write anyone a bad review! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. THEY AREN'T STUPID.
