Really good communication around scheduling and availability but also around diagnosed issues. They always ask before moving ahead with any substantial work and almost always get my car back same-day when dropped off according to schedule.

I just have to say, Lucy's Service Station in Melrose truly went above and beyond. If I could give them more than five stars, I would! I had been searching all around Wakefield, Stoneham, and Saugus for someone who could handle an oil change on my Porsche, and no one seemed to fit the bill. But Lucy's? They got me in the same day I called. The service was incredible—I dropped off the car, and in just a couple of hours, everything was done to perfection. I came back, picked it up, and it was all set—smooth and seamless.

Excellent local place for repairs, oil changes, inspections and gas. Honest folks, fast turnaround. These places rely on support and loyalty. A rare breed. Was In a pinch and they came through super fast. Can’t ask for more. Prices are fair and reflect the quality of work.

My car needed quite a bit of work a few weeks back and they were able to get it done in a day or so! Great service! Also, as a female going into an autobody shop on my own, it can be really intimidating, but everyone I spoke to were friendly in a way that made me trust them. I also had my roommate look over all the repair estimates as he sells car parts and works at a dealership. He said the estimates provided were more than fair and that I should move forward with them. My car was also making a weird clicking noise which has since gone away with the new brakes they put in. Overall, I am really happy with this place and will 100% continue to go here. Thank you guys!
I had an issue with a wheel bearing that was making a subtle noise when driving at speeds over 40 mph. I had been taking my car to a fancy dealership for maintenance. The dealership quoted me $1000. I called Bob Lucey and he told me a couple hundred dollars so I brought my car in immediately to replace the wheel bearing, an oil change, and tire rotation. He called me over the phone a few hours later to confirm it was a wheel bearing problem and said the price was now $900 to replace the wheel bearing with labor. I had no choice because he had already changed the oil and done diagnostics that would I would be charged for anyway, but the most important thing to me is trust. If you're not going to be forthcoming about a price quote, can I trust you with my car. He told me he put a high quality wheel bearing. There was a cheaper one, but he said "I wouldn't trust it on my car." It ended up being over $1200 for everything. After I picked up the car, it didn't seem to drive right. I wasn't sure if it was just my imagination but it seemed as if the wheels weren't balanced correctly , because it didn't drive as smoothly as it had before. Within a month the noise at the same wheel was so bad the entire car was vibrating. I was driving back from Maine with my family and I wasn't sure if we'd make it home. I took it back to Lucey's and he said the wheel bearing he installed was defective. To his credit, he replaced it...it was under warranty. Bottom line: Lucey charges the same prices as the dealership and he put something on my car that wasn't safe or possibly was not installed correctly. I've read the other reviews and Lucey said his prices are the same other garages in Melrose.
Had a blow out on my Silverado. Pulled into Lucy’s and they could not have been more helpful and professional. Put my spare on and ordered me a new tire in just minutes. Highly recommend Lucy’s and I’ll be returning soon for a full set of tires.
Very friendly staff. Needed an emergency AC recharge and they were happy to help. Had the vehicle back in a couple of hours. Price was fair and reasonable. 1st time customer. Very appreciative!
Lucey's did a great job of fixing my 2013 Suburban, including brakes, shocks, springs and some pesky electrical work. Fast, courteous, and transparent with detailed information. I highly recommend them.

My scheduled oil change on my 2022 Dodge Challenger was completed ahead of schedule. And all my fluid were topped off. What really pleased me is that they cleaned out the oil catch can that is a modification I added.
I’ve only been here once for service but it left a good impression. They were able to do a quick job the same day and the price was reasonable. They we’re upfront with pricing and very friendly. Noticed a broken tail light and fixed that too - and didn’t take the opportunity to scare me about a bunch of other stupid things to spend money on. They offered water to my dog too which is pretty badass.
