Trains are on time. They even did an Express train from Harvard to Park Street last night which was awesome due to the snow

I love the MBTA, a great service and great stations ❤️ we need more public transit in the USA

Permanently closed bathroom yet a sign two flights up at the entrance that says it's available. Conversely, a working elevator with a sign that says it is broken. Shell of a post-apocalyptic Dunkin' Donuts. Drop ceiling removed so it no longer threatens riders with being crushed. Unfortunately, the actual concrete ceiling apparently requires electronic monitoring to make sure it won't fall, either (see photo). Took out the news stand business that made the plaza a more pleasant space. Now the pit at the entrance is a big hole in the ground. Promising greater accessibility when? Two stars because it gets you where you're going. Usually.

This station is epic and famous, but not the cleanest. We really enjoyed though visiting Harvard and passing through here seemed like being part of a movie. We needed to use the bathroom and it was closed. So not great. To be noted that this is a place this Harvard square where it is really difficult to find a toilet.

This station is so negligent. The train driver says to use the shuttle bus for no reason. I don't know where it is and was forced to follow crowds. To make things worse, there were no MBTA staff at the fare gate and I used my last ticket that sparked outrage. MBTA needs to do a better job c'mon!

As a company critic, want to help the passengers who are traveling on the Red Line---- Three entrances to get in, elevator (near CVS), can be busy, transit buses, (Lots of walking *watch out for uneven grounding, bad drivers, prices can be high, homeless people around, certain months there will be an event,) Starbucks, CVS, Dunkin, Restaurants, Hotels, Harvard Tour, Cambridge Common Park, Bank,

I have had more visits here in the past month where I saw someone shooting up directly on the train platform than visits where I did not see someone shooting up directly on the platform.

This is a nice T station. I went here while visiting Boston and was satisfied with my experience. This T station is on the red line, which has services to Alewife, MIT, downtown, Quincy, and Braintree. This station is clean and easy to navigate with wide platforms. Interestingly enough, the two platforms for this station are on top of each other instead of next to each other like at other stations. This makes the station feel much larger than it actually is. I gave this station five stars because it has a nice layout, is clean, and is only a short walk away from Harvard University.

Nice station except the elevator smells unbelievably disgusting of urine stains. What an unfair circumstance if you needed a wheelchair. Love the station. But avoid the elevator at all costs unless you really have to use it.

The train Station to Harvard, it is so famous! Nice to take a public transportation. The Station is always clean. I believe so. When I too a train there it was very convenient and easy.

It's a free access place, some students are able to give you a tour for a few bucks though. The campus is huge, and the buildings are an architectural beauty.

Harvard Square itself is an amazing location but the train station itself? It could be better. The staff here are not particularly approachable, the homeless and addicts have horrible behaviors, and most passengers are not very friendly.

Good food but poor service. The waitress was not attentive and so our food went to the wrong table at first. We didn't get the ice tea we ordered in spite of reminding the waitress.

A decent size station to catch the Red Line and buses. Also has Dunkin Donuts inside the station itself, and other eateries in the surrounding area.

This station isn't too bad. There is a guy that sells Harvard shirts down here sometimes for way cheaper then you will find at most stores above if you're interested in that. There was another guy selling scents, not sure how often he is there.

I lost a bag containing very personal items including my medication. The MBTA was extremely helpful and sent out an announcement about the lost bag. Enick, Lisa, James, and John helped me find my bag quickly. I would highly rescomend each of the above mentioned MBTA members all receive a raise or bonus for their professionalism. THANK YOU MBTA! YOU ROCK.

Love the architecture of the Harvard building. Harvard Yard is one of my favorite places to visit in Boston in the summer. Fresh grass, spacious with lots of spots to sit and do some reading.

It is a subway so some level of grittiness is expected. But, overall this station is okay clean and neat. All entrances are accessible and easily located. The Charlie card station is visible and the T line ambassadors are almost always around to assist. There are little stores and places to buy food if you are in a real hurry, but cannot imagine anyone to be in that much of a hurry. Anyway, use the subway and busses if you are here - it opens your experience to the city so much more and at a reduced cost.

For a subway that has a surprisingly high population of homeless people it remains clean and you don’t often find yourself being approached by a stranger asking for money. A Dunkin’ Donuts on the train level is quite a nice edition and is never too crowded. The employees are fast and efficient. A couple of the machines do not work that well, so be prepared for trial and error when trying to find one that works. The redline itself is quite efficient and the delays do not come often.

Does the job of providing a direct connection between downtown Boston and Harvard. There is a bit of a walk from the street level to the underground platforms.

One of my favorite places. It's a very cosy area with a lot of shops selling unique items with neighborly atmosphere. Walking is highly recommended as you'll discover many wonderful bookstores such as poetry book store and Harvard book store.

All about in-station turnback: There is no in-station turnback path in Harvard station. If you want to turnback into the opposite direction, you can tell the station staff before you go out to let them open the ticket barrier on the other side to allow you come in again for free. I was doing so, and three homeless guys followed me to pass through the ticket barrier. Of course it was a pleasure to help them.

Harvard is a great campus to tour, and catch the rich history. The campus is typically quite busy, although you are mostly staring at the beautiful buildings and reading historical plaques.

2016 one day ~ it became the last station because a accident happen in Porter station.

unreliable service some days the train is on time others it is over 15 mins late during the winter it can shut down. The station smells like urine constantly if you actually need to be somewhere on time no exceptions find other means of transport.
