Contrary to all the other reviews. I actually thought they were very nice people who were just doing their job. I parked illegally and they towed my car. I went there early to pick my car up they let me sit in their office while I waited for my Uber to get cash and we’re all so polite to me!

It's one thing to tow when a car is illegally parked, or it breaks down. This company patrols low-income areas with a predatory lens. They have erroneously towed vehicles with clear and obvious stickers that our staff use to park in the neighborhood. This occurred on July 21, 2021; July 29, 2021; and most recently on January 5, 2024. Each time, they've returned the vehicles. But not without hours of waiting and inconvenience. To add, they show no sign of contrition and don't even so much as apologize for their errors. The woman who answers phones repeatedly hangs up and acts indignant, as if she's been aggrieved.

Towed my friend’s car from a shared lot when she was inside for a few minutes, then proceeded to cuss her out and tell her to sit on her broken ankle after she was asking for more clarification. Super unprofessional!

One of the worst experiences with another human that I've ever had in my entire life. My two friends and I reached our car as it was being hooked up. The driver told us $100 cash to get the car back. My two friends went to find an ATM, and I stayed with the car. But the driver continued ratcheting up the wheels & setting up to leave. When I asked him to please being unhooking it since they were coming back, he said "I told them $100 cash, and I don't have it in my hand. They went in the opposite direction of the ATM. I'm taking the car." I asked him why he didn't tell us where the ATM was when they ran off to find one. He said "not my problem." Immediately, I could tell I was dealing with a person who gets off on having power over others. The infinite power of being a cruel tow truck driver. Wow, I'm shaking in my boots. Then, when my friends came back with the cash, I asked "are you sure we have to pay you?" For context, I've come to my car while it was being towed before, and the tower has never asked for money, so I wanted to understand why we had to pay now. The driver turns around and says "fine, you don't want to pay?", gives us our $100 back, and starts driving away WHILE WE ARE STANDING IN FRONT OF HIS TRUCK. We run beside his truck, with his door open, begging him to take our money. He continues to be extremely rude and aggressive, saying "no, no, if you don't want to give me the money, then I can't give you your car. Get away from my car." We are literally BEGGING him to give us the car now, holding the $100 cash out to him. We are three girls in our early 20s, all under 5' 4", on the verge of tears asking him to take our money and give the car back. Nothing. He drives away. When we reached B&B towing company, the woman at the front desk listens to our complaints and tells us "I'm so sorry guys. That shouldn't have happened. I know exactly which driver you're talking about." She tells us she'll leave a message for the owner, and that he would make sure we were reimbursed. After not receiving a call the next day, we call the company back. Can you guess what happens then? Spoiler: THE OWNER DENIES EVERYTHING. Says his secretary didn't leave any message for him, that the driver that took our car has never had complaints against him. He claimed we were making everything up. Upon perusing the other Google reviews, it's clear the owner was so full of garbage I'm surprised the county hasn't taken him to the dump. Dozens of other reviews describing exactly the same experience as we had. If you are in need of a towing company, I'd recommend choosing literally anybody over the horrible people who run this godforsaken company.

Even if you are already standing next to your car, they will still tow your car. I got off the car to take some photos, and the distance was less than 5 meters, this person started his "work" After I immediately stopped and inquired, he mentioned that he had already lifted the car and if I wanted to put it down, I would have to pay $100. Wow, in just one minute, a simple job you put down can earn $100. It's really a great job. During the negotiation process, the driver showed rudeness, spoke harshly, and was extremely impolite to the woman. He attempted to start the vehicle while people were still nearby. And this driver has racial discrimination. He turned a blind eye to other people's vehicles, while I was already standing next to them and he still had to operate my car. The sign did not show what he called a time limit, and I also had what the apartment mentioned: 'You can briefly park the vehicle in that position'. Today's story is like a person coming over without a reason and saying, 'Open your wallet, I will take $100 out of it now.' It can only be said that the deity is above, it looks at everyone.

If you drive a blue or dark colored Honda HRV, MA plate 2GYP71, I witnessed and have video proof that B&B ran a red light without stopping, drifted around a corner, and went to Dunkin on Concord Ave in Cambridge all while your car was in tow.

They incorrectly towed my car and wouldn’t give the car back (even though they incorrectly towed my car when it wasn’t in a tow zone) and until I paid them on the spot. when I mentioned calling Cambridge to sort this out on the spot, they said they’d just charge me another $100 for the overnight if I did so and gave me a very limited period to pay for something that was completely out of my control/not my fault. A neighbor’s contractors had moved one of the reserved parking zone permit signs to expand their 60ft parking zone in 125 FEET without any authorization from the city of Cambridge. All of our cars were safely parked outside of the zone and abiding by the signs when they were posted correctly. First of all, Cambridge doesn’t even offer 125 ft permits. Did B&B not find anything sketchy about a) towing multiple cars b)in a clearly oversized zone that isnt even possible by Cambridge rules c) where car next to the “moveable” cone were the one ones in violation d) and where none of the cars had tickets from the police e) and the cars in the zone had been called in to the emergency police for removal by the owner of the zone. The start of the reserved parking zone was denoted by a sign attached to a street sign, but the other, was on a non-chained down cone. The contractors decided to move the cone without consulting with the city of Cambridge. they’re not allowed to do that but they did. They didn’t even need the space but whatever. Again, out of my control, which put several neighbors and I in the “tow zone” that truly didn’t exist. However, my car was never ticketed by the police, (because I wasn’t actually in a tow zone) even though B&B claimed they don’t tow without a police ticket, which isn’t true. I asked B&B to show me said ticket because it wasn’t on the car. B&B didn’t have it…because no ticket was issued…because I wasn’t in a tow zone. I asked the city of Cambridge parking enforcement if there was a ticket issued…nope! Asked non emergency police if they ticketed and if anyone called it in…nope! I even showed b&b pictures of where the cone had clearly been moved (below) and they didn’t care even though the zone shown CLEARLY was larger than the 60 ft zone reserved. When I told them that Cambridge parking as well as non emergency police said that there was no ticket, they said they didn’t care and I’ll have to get my money back from cambridge. 16 months later and cambridge is finally cutting me a check…but due to the time it took to resolve (I was a student so that $100 tow+Uber sat on my credit card bc I didn’t have income) I am now actually still paying $53 all because B&B towed a car that didn’t and never had a ticket, which they aren’t supposed to be doing in the first place. Cambridge also isn’t reimbursing for my Uber. Don’t contract b&b because they tow when they aren’t supposed to and were clearly reckless with this tow because it was clearly fishy and none of the cars had tickets. They’ll tow ppl incorrectly and then leave you and your patrons to deal with the fees.

Updated response to owner: I BEG you to please provide a picture or whatever this proof you have is of pulling our car out of a handicap spot. Beyond that, if people don’t want to believe me, the other reviews for your company speak for themselves. We’ll be sending our video of you pulling our car out of our reserved spot to the police. Be better people. This company will make an attempt to scam you out of money, and I just want to make sure any companies that employ them know that. We are definitely not the first people this happened to based on reviews, but we had our car towed out of our reserved spot that we pay for at our apartment complex. B&B took it on accident (which is what they admitted to when they were first contacted), but when our leasing office called, B&B told them we were parked in a handicap spot and that’s why they took our car. Our leasing office was able to provide proof that we were not in a handicap spot, but B&B refused to bring our car back to us anyways and still made an attempt at charging us to release our car that they incorrectly took. They did end up releasing our car without payment, but only after the aggressive attempt to scam us and then forcing us to come get it ourselves. We also got the police involved after they refused to return our car, and they lied to them about us being in a handicap spot as well. I’m really not the type of person to leave a bad review, and accidents happen all the time. I wouldn’t have been upset at all if they just returned our car in the first place. Just wanted to note this for anyone considering using this company that they clearly strive to steal money.

I am going to tell you my story. It was 11:00pm I had to move my car because following day it was cleaning day in front of my house. So I took my car and drove around the my book to find a place, not even one single place. I drove like for one hour even around 1 - 2 miles away and the same. Until I found a place, that had a temporal no parking between 8am and 4pm on 14th. I check my clock to confirm the day and it was 14th at night. So I thought it was fine to park. But guess what!!... It was 12:02, I did not realized I had been looking for parking place for more than one hour, beginning the 13th at night and finishing 14th in the morning in the rush I did not realized, it was after midnight so it was 14th in the morning not 14th at night!! Of course next day, my car was not there any more, it would be great to receive any call, SMS or email when your car is towed, here is a safe place, but still, I mean it was my first time. Summary of my Story... 100 dollars towing and 25 dollar a ticket of the police. 125 to continue my life. The Towing place was okay, fast service. I was mad and sad for my stupidity, but they just did their job. Remember it is 35 dollars for additional day. So pick up your car as soon as possible to avoid additional costs. If a recommend them? It is not nobody's decision :)

This company is a disgrace! They take the cars of customers who are inside the establishments doing their shopping. At a market in Cambridge, the watchmen mark the cars with chalk so they can be towed away! And people are inside doing their shopping. It's disappointing the way they act. Towing cars that shouldn't be towed. I've seen customers calling the police for this reason. Sad to see how far they go to make money.

Parked under 2 hours visiting a friend after working in that area(construction)inside an apartment lot without numbered spots, got towed since I didn’t use the “visitors” sign. Was mad at first but it is what it is, they have good clean tow trucks and I assume they wouldn’t try to hurt a brand new car with low mileage. Had to walk to the atm and to their shop, got my car same day with no hassle. 2.7 stars for remaining professional, could be better if it wasn’t just cash and cause I had the money on my card. I also think fees overly priced since I wasn’t parked overnight or all day.. good luck

Extortionist company. Towed my car from my Reserved parking spot. Lied to me and tried to say it was in a handicapped spot, and when i got video of them towing my car out of my reserved spot they told Me it was my issue to deal with now. Had to pay money, lost time. No help. Horrible company They also have no issue lying to police. I filed a police report on my car, and they lied to the police that I was in a handicapped spot. Once again, this was after being confronted that I had video of them towing my car from my reserved spot. Zero ethics. Ended up having to travel to them to pick up my car. Overall horrible experience resolving an issue they created

They tried to tow my car in the Urban Axes in Somerville. There is literally ONE warning sign after he said “there’s signs everywhere” and it’s not even near where I parked. I was not made aware of the need for a parking pass as it was my first time at this establishment. You can say it’s not a scam but he literally took my 100$ in cash and just drove away, didn’t tow anyone else. Absolutely ridiculous. And he was so rude and not compassionate at all. I completely understand that it’s a job but that was inhuman and unfair.

Having a tow truck and lights doesn’t give you the right to just drive through red lights in Cambridge

I would give a zero star if I could. They incorrectly towed my car when I planned to take ballet class at Jose theater. I parked my car in the parking lot and got into office to check-in for the class and bought a parking permit for my car. During this 2-minutes interval, the driver towed my car. I ran for two blocks, caught the driver and showed him my permit. He just ignored it and drove away with my car. Then the people in Jose kindly argue with them for me and told them they shouldn’t tow my car. They promised me to release my car with no charge but they were so mean that they refused to tow my car back. And there were no apologies at all when I went there at night and picked up my car. I understand that they want to make some money but they shouldn’t just wait there and incorrectly tow people’s car and make no sense.

So after booking an event in the middle of Boston , I learned the hard way read signs when you park out there ! The place only takes cash , super scary parking lot , the woman was helpful and accommodating for taking a single moms 150$ as a brand new entrepreneur for her lack of parking respect 🤣🤣🤣. The woman also had a very nice purse ( 150$ a car smart woman ) one day I’ll invest into a few tow trucks 🤣

I will start by saying the tow was my fault. I was parked where I shouldn't have parked. That being said the driver was extremely rude. I walked up to him backing up to my truck. When I asked him if I could simply move my truck because he hadn't hooked up yet he refused. He then proceeded to drive away after I asked him several times to let me take my wallet out of my truck. After chasing after him down the street he finally stopped amd told me I was lucky he let me get my wallet. The lady in the office was nice but that driver was terrible.

I’ve had my car towed numerous times over the years (Cambridge Street Cleaning). It’s not fun but Susan at B&B could teach a master class in dealing with disgruntled people with exceptional grace and kindness. She has an oftentimes dangerous job and has been on the receiving end of verbal and physical assault. She is so hard-working, so friendly and so professional. No one likes being towed but Susan is always a joy to be around. They have a cute dog on site too, which helps. Thanks B&B, I’ve never walked out of a tow yard $100 lighter with so much joy. Listen, no one likes to be towed. It is one of the worst situations a person can experience. However, having dealt with the strict MA parking laws, I've had my fair share of towed vehicles and have gotten to sample each towing establishment that Boston has to offer. B & B towing is by far the most professional, efficient, and kind towing business I have had the pleasure of being towed by (for anyone curious, D&D towing is by far the worst and is filled with child workers who don't look a day over 5 years old while also just generally permeating a sense and smell of greedyness). If I were to be towed again, and I suspect I will be, I hope it is B & B towing that finds my car.

Helped me out with not incurring another daily storage charge considering my specific situation and was even able to get in touch with the tow truck driver when I couldn’t.

They towed my car from the visitor parking at the Royal Belmont Apartments. I called them and tried to explain how my car was towed from visitor parking. The person was extremely rude on the phone, and he hung up the phone. We went there with my wife and friend. They didn't even bother listening to us. They said, "We are going to make you arrested." We end up with calling 911. Two officers came, and they said it is better to talk to the manager tomorrow. So, my friend gave us a ride home. Next day, apartment management emailed my friend that it was a mistake. I went to the towing place, and get my car with no charge. I tried to talk to the manager. (Mike) I just wanted to explain how rude his staff was, but he didn't want to listen to me. So, people here are extremely rude.

Honestly at the end of the day it was my fault why i got towed i knew i was taking a risk. So when i came to pay to get my car back i kept my mouth shut and took it on the chin. But when i came back to my car the front plastic part where the shifter is was popped off, they threw my iced coffee from the morning on my seat with water mixed with coffee all over it. I know this is going to aound dumb but a few days later i had went to a party and before i walked in i went to spray some cologne and bam it was missing a $175 bottle of cologne gone. I had talked to the dispatcher and he told me contact Mike the owner which i havent done yet but lets be real i have no proof other than why would they need to break in to my car to tow it..Also i had two footlocker gift cards $25 a piece that just magically grew legs and disappeared when they towed my car...B&B if i could give 0 stars based off integrity i would..no one has reached out to make it right or even offered an apology...its ok though ;)

Extremely rude, disrespectful staff members with no patience to answer simple questions. Evidently people who hate their jobs manage this place and it shows. I asked the woman who works there for the address and she was extremely rude and condescending over the phone and even hung up on me. When I arrived to pick up my car at the lot she looked like she was high off meds and her eyes were barely open. This place is sketchy and unprofessional.

My car had a bad accident and they towed it for me. In the midst of the drama, I never got my electronics (Garmin GPS system, phone charger, etc.) out of the compartments before they towed it. Also, I didn't want to carry all of that stuff around with me at that dramatic time. After the accident in the midst of the drama, I did however get out my phone, registration, and some paper work that was in my glove compartment. Why were all of my electronic things gone when I visited my wrecked car at their yard a couple days later?! I couldn't believe how blatantly unapologetic they were when I confronted them too! The lady at the front desk said that I needed to talk to the main guy that drives the tow trucks. I forget his name. (He's about 40 yrs old, almost six feet, white guy with black hair.) I then talk to him. He said that they didn't do it. He said that it must have been the police that arrived on the scene that took my things. I couldn't believe he blamed police officers for my missing electronics! I was there with my car the whole time before it got towed! The police never entered the inside of my wrecked car when they arrived on the scene. What's even more crazy is how the inside of my (glove and middle) compartments looked. It looked like a scene straight out of a movie where someone comes home and finds that their house was ransacked by thieves because only the expensive things are gone and all of the cheap things are thrown around the house (in my case the "house" is the compartments in my car, and the expensive things are my electronics that were once in those compartments). Not only did B & B towing steal from me but they lied about it and had the audacity to say that it must have been the police that took it ... even though I was there with police the whole time before my car was towed. (P.S., the police report makes no mention of any officer checking the inside or getting inside my vehicle.)

This place is a horrible extortion business racket. Should not be allowed to practice business.

I had parked on the side street to run in and grab a parking badge from the front desk, when a truck hooked me on a patrol. I even came out right as he drove off luckily and saw the truck. When I called up the dispatch was extremely fair and professional hand understanding of my plight.Due to the weather the driver even brought the car back fto the location! Real stand up guys, thanks so much!
