Absolutely awful experience with Longleaf Lumber. The man at the reception desk was unbelievably rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful from the second I walked in. I had a few basic questions and was treated like I was inconveniencing him just by being there. Customer service clearly means nothing at this place. For a business that charges premium prices, you’d expect at least a basic level of professionalism and respect. Instead, I got attitude, sarcasm, and zero willingness to help. The receptionist acted annoyed the entire time and made the whole experience uncomfortable and frustrating. There are plenty of other lumber and flooring places in the area that actually appreciate customers. I won’t be coming back here again.

The owner helped me find the perfect piece for a small diy project. Super nice guy who really wanted to help and did a stellar job as a result. Best in the area. We'll be back for flooring.

I have gone to Longleaf Lumber for several projects over the years and was always treated well by the staff. Whether I needed a very specific shape of wood, a certain look I was going for, or simply just browsing the beautiful selection of boards, this place never left me disappointed. I even stop by when I'm in the neighborhood because the wood grains at this place are simply gorgeous and worth looking at even if you don't think you need anything (I have never left without buying something. It is nice to know I am making my projects out of sustainable and locally sourced wood! Keep it up y'all! You're awesome ✌️?
