All of the staff here is knowledgeable and kind. We are lucky to have a place like this locally. Not to mention, Oreo (the store cat) is friendly and always a joy to say hi to when we visit!

Meghan's customer service is unbeatable, even after store hours! She texted to confirm my last minute order and make me aware that my online order wouldn't be filled until the next morning. It was much appreciated because we were in the middle of an ice storm and the beginning of the salt shortage. Greg was very helpful loading my car with the heavy bags of ice melt. All around an amazing experience!
Staff here are always super helpful and knowledgeable about their products. We bought a last minute snowblower and went to pick it up. An associate offered to assemble it and deliver free of charge. They also gave us all the tips and information on how to maintain the blower. Above and beyond with customer service.
I shop at Aubuchon Hardware all the time, and it is hands down the best hardware store experience around.
Whether I am buying tools, picking up salt or mulch, or trying to figure out how to deal with pests in my garden, the staff is always incredibly helpful. They take the time to explain options, help you think through what you actually need, and make sure you leave confident about your purchase.
What really sets them apart is their honesty. If they do not have something in stock, they will tell you directly and even point you to where you can find it. That kind of integrity builds real loyalty.
Their prices are competitive, their membership program is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and community oriented.
And as a bonus, they have an awesome, very sweet store cat who somehow makes the entire shopping experience even better.
I would not go anywhere else for hardware and home improvement needs.
I recently purchased a new TV and quickly realized I had no idea what mounting screws and washers I needed (I was trying to be cool and get the TV mounted before my fiancé arrived home). I walked into Aubuchan feeling completely lost, but the employees there were incredibly helpful from the moment I asked for assistance. They took the time to walk me through exactly what I needed, answered all my questions, and made the whole process stress-free. Everyone was extremely friendly and truly went above and beyond with their customer service. I left with everything I needed and as a very happy customer. I can’t recommend Aubuchan enough!
Excellent customer service, very helpful and friendly. I purchased an item online for in-store pickup, but they were actually out of stock. Meghan called right away to apologize for the error on the website and said she could get the item from another store the next day. She did that, and called again to let me know it was ready to pick up.
What wonderful customer service and this had to be the quickest online order I have ever done. A bonus when I picked up my order I got to say Hello to the beautiful cat. Just made my day❤️

I ordered a ton of pellets and Meghan was a huge help. Got them delivered today and the delivery driver “Don” was a great guy who even helped out unloading them.

Then, when he turned around and made eye contact with me, he still continued on his way to do what he was doing. And then said ill be right with you
When I go to the lunenburg store, i'm always pleasantly greeted immediately and asked if I need help

I had a great experience with Aubuchon Hardware today when shopping for Adirondack chairs. Meghan was so nice and very helpful, she went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. Great service all around!
The service at this Aubuchon Hardware is unmatched. I love coming here for all my house project needs however this trip was the best! Dan went above and behind to help me with my sign mounting kit that did not come with the correct screws or pre-drilled like advertised. Dan happily chose the correct screws, drilled and mounted the sign perfectly to the kit saving me a ton of time! Thank you so much Dan!
Couple of weeks ago I was biking on the Ayer - Nashua bike path and got a flat tire. I made it over to the Aubuchon store and Danny proceeded to bring out a pump and a patch kit. Could not believe how helpful he was. He did everything but change my tire for me. I tried to tip him, but he refused.... said he "loves to help people". To Danny and the Aubuchon Ayer team - thank you very much - you are the best!!!
We had the best experience possible at this store!!! My two friends and I were in desperate need of paint to complete our half painted senior parking spots. We decided to call the store ahead of time to see if they could accommodate our color match request. We came into the store with only a stick of dried paint looking to get a color match. When we entered the store, we were greeted with a warm welcome from Meghan who was determined to find us a budget friendly paint color with our exact shade. Due to our lack of knowledge of the amount of paint needed, Meghan guided us towards the right direction of finding the most suitable colors and inexpensive options as possible. Not only did Meghan work hard to find our exact shade, but she kept us company and genuinely cared to talk to each of us. After she devoted almost an hour working on our color requests, she surprised us with donating the paint to our school! It was worth a lot of money so it meant so much to us! She commented on how we are enjoyable, mature, and kind young girls. She even introduced us to their famous cat Oreo! I would highly recommend going to this store for the excellent service and quality hardware!
