They didn't have what I needed in stock, but they were very helpful by sending me to a store that did, even though it wasn't one of their own. Good guys.
I went there today around 6:50 pm got brake fluid and walk to cashier to pay. The Guy at cashier was talking with someone and i stay there for almost 10 minutes and they just keep chatting. I return the item and leave and i believe he doesn't even noticed. Worth drive 15 minutes and go to AUTOZONE in Leominster where people is always Nice with customers.
Its crazy , they still doing the same bad customer service! Went there today june 28 and got some stuff stay in cashier waiting to pay and for almost 10 minutes nobody show up. Just left the product on cashier and left. Here we go Auto Zone Again
Ice melt has been hard to come by recently but Scot with the Ayer location posted frequently on a local facebook page of when they would have some in stock. We were able to get pet safe the other day due to his posting and just today we were able to pick up regular ice melt. When I went there the cashier was AMAZING and personable. She let me know that the boys would be able to help me load the bags into my car. The gentleman who helped me was also great. Those 50lb bags aren't easy to lift. I'm thankful for the communication that this store provides. We will be back (for more then just Ice melt).
Wish i could give the new Ayer location a zero star! Will never go back!
Went in to buy some TPMS pressure sensors for my car. Spent almost $180. They looked up my car in their computer all the while telling me it was their first day and sold me the sensors..... only, it turns out they were the wrong sensors. And I didn't find out they were the wrong ones until the garage installed them in my tires and then I saw they were not working when I picked up my car and was driving home.
So, I have to find the correct ones on my own, and go back and have the garage change them out a few days later paying them a second time now. The new ones work fine........hunh. Turns out my car uses bluetooth sensors and these guys sold me rf sensors.
Now I go to bring the wrong sensors back to advanced Auto that they sold me, and... THEY WON'T TAKE THEM BACK. They cited some really bizarre rule they have about not being able to return electronics. I tried to explain to them that THEY were the ones that spec'd out and gave me the wrong ones. And they were only installed for a day, and now I've paid twice to have them changed out, but they said there was nothing they could do. Rules were rules.
I then asked to see the manager, and the manager wasn't even there. I was given the manager's business card and was told that I could email him. ...no really...
Oh, and by the way when I bought these, they were all supposed to be the same and all supposed to have metal valve stems but guess what? Only two out of 4 of them had that. So I didn't even get what I paid for in the first place.
So, bottom line is that not only am I out the $180 for for the sensors that these jokers sold me, but I am also out the $150 I was charged by the garage to do the extra sensor swap. And advanced Auto isn't willing to make it right, when they were the ones that made the mistake in the first place.
Save yourselves some trouble, go to Napa right down the street. These crooks don't deserve your business.
This new Ayer location is nicely organized, and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. In particular, I really appreciated Scot’s thorough help with installing a new battery and running some associated diagnostic tests. I’ll definitely be returning for my automotive needs.
