The owner is rude and is not a master mechanic. Shade tree mechanics with no experience. Maybe an oil change or a license plate installation but even that might be difficult for these incompetent people. Go anywhere else.
⚠️ Avoid This Shop at All Costs
It has now been over a year and this shop still has not fixed my vehicle. What started as a repair has turned into one of the worst customer service and mechanical experiences I have ever dealt with.
For over a year I have been without my vehicle, while it has sat at this shop with no resolution. Every time I call, I either get the runaround, ignored for weeks, or told that Rob (the owner) will call me back — which almost never happens.
Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the situation, Rob has now refused to continue working on my vehicle because of this review, leaving me completely stuck.
At this point:
My vehicle is still not repaired
They have had it for months
Communication is almost nonexistent
I am now forced to pursue legal action
The BBB has been contacted regarding this situation
This has caused significant financial and personal stress. I am currently out $25,000 without a vehicle, and still without a solution.
If you need something extremely basic like an oil change, maybe you'll be fine. But if your vehicle requires actual diagnosis or mechanical skill, I strongly recommend going somewhere else.
This experience has been a major red flag in every possible way — from communication to accountability to professionalism.
Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere before trusting this shop with your vehicle
This is the best shop around. They are extremely honest. They provide fast service with an honest estimate. If you live anywhere near Oxford, you should be going here! Thank you Rob and Michelle! I will be back again and I'll tell everyone I know to go here for there auto service.

They not only addressed the issue I came in for right away (or by the very next day), but they also went above and beyond by helping me with an oil change I had scheduled elsewhere for the following week. They understood that multiple trips would be difficult for me due to my disabilities, and they made sure everything was taken care of in one visit.
I also want to highlight how easy and reassuring their text-based estimate system was. They sent a clear breakdown of what was wrong with my car, what needed to be done, and the full cost—including labor. I got to approve the work I wanted, without pressure or confusion. I took my car to Bonnette’s and got an estimate yesterday. As a woman alone I have found it difficult to find a good place for repairs at a good and fair price. My neighbor recommended Bonnette’s and I am totally happy with everything. I didn’t have to leave the car for days, wondering when the work would be done. And with your electronically signed approval sent back is when the repairs will be serviced. The work was prompt and professional. They had me back on the road in no time. Bonnette's is the best auto repair place I have ever been to. Today (Saturday) as I was driving to work my battery light came on. Indicating my alternator was probably failing. I was supposed to pick up my two small granddaughters from a babysitter after work. I called them and they said bring it right in and we will check it. Upon getting there they told me they may not be able to do it today because they close at noon. A few minutes later a gentleman from the garage came in and quoted me a very fair price and said it would be done by noon. They have earned my business for the future. Very nice, friendly and fair. THANK YOU BONNETTE'S! Done correctly, on time and in budget of quote. Very pleased!
they had my car for 11 days . it was a $2,000 job because of an expensive part . upon getting my car back the check engine light came on and it made all sorts of noise and I had to bring it to another garage which estimated about another $2,000 worth of work and the brakes were about to go ....I have a 4-year-old
when I went and inquired about this because my car is only worth $6,000 so if I knew it was going to be $4,000 probably wouldn't have put the repairs in meanwhile I heard the guy mother that I said I just needed to get it on the road safely ...which is true but the garage I'm currently at Jay's Auto which is fantastic said that it was not even safe for me to drive home the brakes were so bad and I live 3 miles down the road.
so basically by having my car looked at by them almost killed my son and I.
Good service and always able to get our cars in at a reasonable time to be fixed. I really like that they can text you what the diagnosis and expected cost is. Been coming here for a year and no complaints.
My brakes were grinding and I had no real time to get them fixed; Bonnette’s was able to get me in at one day notice, got me an estimate by mid-morning, and finished the job by mid-afternoon. I’ve been using them through three different cars now, and they’ve always been quick, reasonable, and have done a good job.
So have used Bonnette's for long time starting back when Dan owned it. A few years ago I could log on to their website to schedule an appointment or review what they had done previously on my cars/trucks and also review work that they proposed needed to be done. I'm disappointed that this option is not longer available and while appreciate the ability to review proposed work and approve/ or disapprove it before they do it I prefer it when I would get a call from the technician and could discuss the severity of some of the proposed work for example suggesting a full brake job which is a substantial amount money. And yes I know I could pick the phone up and call.... Overall I am satisfied with the work
I called last minute the week before Christmas hoping Bonnette's could squeeze me in for an oil change, tire rotation and if they had time - change out my air filter because one of the bolts was stripped and I couldn't get it out.
They not only took my car in the following afternoon, they also had all hands on deck working a little late to get it taken care of to have me back in my car that evening so I could make it to work the next day. I am very satisfied with the work that was done, the customer service they provided and their willingness to work with my small window of time.
I would recommend Bonnette's to friends and family, no questions asked!
Called about my brakes suddenly grinding intensely and within 2 days I had my fixed car back. They sent the quote over text and it was easy to accept or decline the service. I’ve also been in the past for my other cars. They’re very nice and the prices are so reasonable!
Called the shop on Saturday one hour before close and they help us right away with a tow and excellent service. Just picked up our vehicle and we are very happy. This was our first time using Bonnettes, very satisfied.
I have a BMW that needed service and this station is in my neighborhood. I stopped in unannounced and I was greeted very politely and professionally. I was able to make an appointment the next day for a tune-up and it was done in a timely manner. The price for the service seem to be fair and this will be the first of many visits. I would highly recommend this station.
At the age of 46 I was forced to look for my first mechanic. My father has been my mechanic since I started driving however, he is unable to take on those tasks for me any more.
I was super skeptical as my first attempt was with Prime Ford and that was a complete disaster.
I decided to try Bonnettes simply because they are local.
I was absolutely BLOWN away at the level of service I received. Customer service HIGH, Professionalism HIGH, Honesty HIGH.
Super happy to say, I FOUND MY NEW SHOP.
