High gas prices, slow to get work done. The gas is at least 10¢ a gallon higher than the gas station literally next door. My friend went to get his car worked on and they waited a whole week just to look under the hood! The mechanic wouldn't even do the job himself, he passed it on to the businesses other shop in New Bedford, and even they took over a week to do a job that should have taken less than an hour. It did get done right, eventually though. If you have a ton of time and don't need your vehicle for a month or so, not a horrible option, but I would suggest going elsewhere.
It was 7:00 Thursday night and my water pump let go first place I went to was fairhaven Getty on route 6 I needed some water and they gave me a couple containers of water and the owner Tim Elrifai offered me a slice of pizza
Go literally anywhere else for inspection. We went once and were told we failed on emissions. He could not offer any explanation other than "drive it around and come back". We did that - then waited 40 minutes because the inspection guy went somewhere and told nobody. When he finally inspected, he said it failed again and he couldn't tell me why his machine failed while the mechanic's machine said I passed. He rushed me out of the shop like I was a problem. I then went to Stateline Subaru and passed on first try. Absolutely insane ordeal.
Don't go here. Oh, and as a bonus treat, the gas attendant wears ONLY Trump gear as if he's the most serious groupie ever. It's beyond off-putting and, frankly, kind of sad!
You should come here to get your car inspected. Fast and easy quick service. Nice clean waiting area. Awesome customer service. I will be coming here whenever I need my car inspected and you should too, lol. They are locates in Fairhaven right off rt.6 Plenty of shopping stores and restaurants if you don't want to wait in the waiting area but you might not have time seeing this is a quick service.
I stopped to get air in my tire and gas. It was pouring out...the gas attendent is such a nice guy and asked the owner if I could pull inside for the air and they pulled out a screw and fixed my tire.....that is the kind of service you get at Fairhaven Gas.
Helpful, friendly, efficient. Louie (at the full-service pumps; no self-serve) always so kind and pleasant. In & out with inspection sticker and a comfy, warm place to wait.
Excellent service, fast courteous and friendly. No minimum to use debit, nor do they charge debit purchasers more money if they use a card. I really wish Mc/Visa would crack down on the places that do do this. Thankfully, this place does not do that, as I rarely have cash. I also like they are open on Sunday, and still open in the Eve! I've been going there whenever I'm in the area, and need gas, for years!
Fantastic auto mechanic and gas station! I was only there once and the owner's hands on involvement in getting me an inspection sticker just before closing time was a breath of fresh air. I went for gas, they noticed I was due for a sticker and I was immediately brought into the bay for my inspection sticker. Fabulous!
