They do nice enough work. Always feel like I’m overpaying. This time they me theywould call and tell me how much it was gonna be before he put a part in. Never called. Went to pick up my vehicle and he charged more than 5x what the part was worth from any other vendor plus labor. Got mad at me when I said I was annoyed. No need to go back.
U-Haul. Don't rent from here. I reserved a trailer 2+ weeks ahead. Got there at the reserved time, no trailer. I was told closest place is 50 minutes away in Hyannis. Screwed up the entire day, and also U-Haul forced me to return trailer out of my way to Hyannis, or I could drop off anywhere for $2,000, seriously. Why didn't they call, because they don't care about U-Haul rentals...
Come here if you want your vehicle to pass inspecion, go elsewhere if you want to have a big R in your windshield just so the shop you took your car to can con you into unnecessary work. Jim may be rough around the edges but this place is HONEST. I just bought a newer A6 Audi and there was no way I was going to go anywhere else for my sticker.
Terrible customer service! I reserved a U-Haul from them serveral weeks ago, and the movers I hired called and told me they were going to be coming later on my move day than originally planned. I called well before and asked if I could pick up my U-Haul later and returned later, to which I was told to come whenever because I had the U-Haul for the whole day. When I arrived at 11:00am to pick up my truck, they almost didn’t let me take it because I was “late”, and they had someone else reserve it for 2:00pm, even though I was told well before I could have it for the whole day. Whatever. I had it back by 1:40pm. I returned it with a full tank and the guy who i returned it to (I’m assuming he’s he the owner of the place) was blatantly rude— I suppose it wasn’t “full” enough (even though on full). He took my card and put maybe $2.00 worth of gas in the truck, handed me back my car and stormed away. I have never left a review online before but between the wrong information with the rental and the guy who owns the place being the rudest person I have ever met, I want to make sure potential customers understand that this guy will make your move day even more stressful than it needs to be! There’s another U-Haul rental right on MacAruther Blvd, go there instead !!
What a terrible experience!!!!! Jim, the owner was completely rude and a jerk to me and my pregnant wife. He told my wife that my Jeep wouldn’t pass inspection due to the tires sticking out 1” past the fenders. This law ONLY APPLIES to non 4wd vehicles. I tried explaining his over the phone and he was a complete jerk to me. After going to get an inspection sticker from somewhere else (yes, it did pass). I call him back to let him know about the exception to the law, and he proceeded to put me on speakerphone so he could continue to berate me in front of his employees. I’m not sure about anyone else, but this is no way to treat PAYING CUSTOMERS....especially from a business owner. I advise everyone to stay away from this place. They are just as scummy as the previous reviewer mentioned.
