My son's car broke down during a long trip. Gibbons came to the rescue. They towed the car, gave him a ride to a safe hotel and got him back on the road the next morning. They not only went the extra mile but I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. I highly recommend them!

These guys are the best mechanics I found around here, and I've been to a few. They're honest and sincerely want to help. I don't get the impression that they're simply in it for the money. They care. Good guys. Highly recommend. I was up against a $2,000 fix or an alternate route that didn't put a dime into their pockets. They made me aware of the alternate route, and it fixed my problem. That's the day they became my trusted mechanic shop.

I would just like to say how thankful I am for the help I got yesterday. I had been everywhere for a few small parts and no one even tried to help. But everyone here was so nice and really went above and beyond to get me what I needed. I highly recommend them!!!!

Husband doesn't have a google account so I am doing it for him. Highly recommend these people. Verh friendly service. Husband has wanted duel exhaust for years and finally got it done here. They did an amazing job, didn't have to wait forever, also called us several times to make sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. Went to pick it up and my husband was smiling from ear to ear!!

My wife and I owe a debt of gratitude to the fine folks at Gibbons especially Steve. We were enroute to spend a week in Hatteras when our vehicle broke down on Sunday. Spent the night in Pocomoke MD. Up early the next morning to find a mechanic to work on our vehicle. The talented crew there got us back on the road for us to start our much needed vacation. Thanks again!

They worked on my truck before I went on vacation and I went 5.5 hours there and 5.7 hours back I made it and they have always treated me right..Heard some funny noises but I'm not a mechanic..

Highly recommend Gibbons Auto! On our drive from MA to NC we noticed a grinding sound coming from our back brakes. We stopped at the nearest Jiffy Lube and the gentleman took a quick look and said we were metal on metal. They were too busy to help, but directed us to the red roof barn across the street. The staff at Gibbons were super accommodating and able to replace our pads and rotors and get us back on the road within the hour, even working through their lunch break! Their prices were fair and we were very grateful to have their help in this situation. If you are ever in need of car help in the Pocomoke City, MD area, I would highly recommend Gibbons!

Good place for parts however do not buy hydraulic hoses from them. I paid $45 for a 4 foot hose & went to tractor & supplie & they had the same thing for$19.00 so I will never buy another hydraulic hose from them that's for sure.

Fantastic job. Brought a 200k mile 2003 Honda Pilot in for an exhaust problem. Needed it fixed but did not want to put big $ into it as car has so many miles. Mission accomplished...fixed and not replaced at a fair price.

I have relied on the knowledge, expertise and honesty of the staff of Gibbons for over 30 years, way back when they were located on Old Snow Hill Road. Recently, we had a problem with our 2012 Equinox, they repaired it very quickly and for less than the original estimate. The Equinox is running great again. I posted this review on Yelp as well. I was on vacation with my dearest friend for a week in Ocean City, Md. We planned an outing to go see Furnace Town near Pokeomoke City. Her car had a slight grinding sound that we were concerned about. The day of the outing, it was much, much worse. We searched for a Toyota dealer and found the one in Pokeomoke City. They couldn't help us! We were shocked! She is a loyal customer, we are 4 hours from home (New Jersey) and driving a car that is possibly dangerous and they wanted us to come back the next day! We drove to the Napa center across the highway and they too were too booked up to even look at the car until late afternoon and then do repairs the next day! We were stranded 45 minutes from her house in Ocean City, driving a dangerous car and being turned away at each place. The kind guy at NAPA said "see the red roof across the street, try there, they do brakes". We did - and Steve was our savior! What an incredibly gracious and kind man! Not only did he immediately pull the car he had in the garage out and pull hers in to look at it, but once we knew it was truly dangerous to drive, he called Enterprise across the street, got us on the phone with them for a rental, and since we would have to wait, drove us across the highway to a diner so we could get lunch and wait. When Enterprise let us know they had a car ready, but they couldn't come to us; Steve to the rescue again by sending Michael to pick us up, drive us to Enterprise and then he waited to make sure we got a car! Steve kept in touch with my friend via text, letting her know when the parts came in,(and he had to call numerous places to get the parts too) all the costs, and when the work was being done. His labor costs were more than reasonable and the work was done quickly the next day. Gracious, kind, thoughtful and truly was our hero! Oh, and if you stop in, be sure to give Chance, the adorable in-house pup a treat! Thanks Steve and crew!

We took our Nissan there for a code I didn’t fully fix, then we took our Toyota there to replace a part that turned out to be more than I was equipped to handle. They even used the part I had purchased elsewhere! Today, I called for free advice that they were happy to provide. It looks like my family has adopted this shop as our car people! Thank you! We will see you again.

The employees are so helpful and courteous. Doing their best 2 get my car back on the road when it broke down as I was trying to deliver it to them. Keep u up 2 date on prices & progress. Excellent.

I got an oil change. Everyone was friendly and helpful!! It was done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend this place for car maintenance & repair!!! I have had previous repairs & have experienced friendly people with reasonable rates!!!

I needed my alternator output and battery checked because of a problem with starting the vehicle. It was determined the battery was at fault. The vehicle needed a special sized battery and they ordered it and it was received and installed before closing that same day of my visit. Very helpful and friendly.

Garbage! Went there for an exhaust pipe they said give them an hour and a half came back still haven't touched it told me to come back at 5 came back still haven't touched it! Stood there for 15mins and no one said a word to me finally someone came out and said they couldn't do it today

These guys know their stuff. Used to take my car to the dealership to get worked on and ended up paying more for stuff that didn't need to be fixed. Went right to Gibbons and everything was fixed with zero issues; not to mention you get a face to face talk with the mechanics servicing your vehicle which helps you understand what they are actually doing. These guys are very customer friendly and genuinely care about your car. Great bunch of guys and I will always take my car there to get worked on; from an oil change to hefty engine work, these guys have got it down perfect.

Very reliable, Christian owned company that really cares about their customers!! Definitely my first choice next time something happens to my car!!
