I’ve been lucky (or unlucky) to have needed a tow service as great as SMT!! They are very top notch and what I feel is great service with communication and professionalism. I was towed twice by same female driver and she is the nicest, knowledgeable driver I have ever met!!! You have certainly raised the bar for your community of towing service!! Thank you SMT!

A nice change from the normal to see someone taking pride in doing an outstanding job. Using the factory recovery/tie down T-hook slots and not just toss the J hooks around whatever the first thing they can grab on and start ripping things up (been there, had that happen). When you have to call for a tow truck your already in a bad mood, Brandon was a shining star.

Worst towing experience I’ve ever had. To start off on a bad foot it cost me $400 to tow my vehicle 5 minutes down the street to their business. And I was not allowed to grab any of my belongings from the vehicle once they took it. Once they opened we went inside to get more information on how to get my car back. They said they were unable to give me a price breakdown for why my bill was $400 until after I paid it in full. Then proceed to tell me that I cannot pay ahead and then have the tow truck come. Both me and the tow truck must be there at the same time to ensure same day pickup, and that there would be no extra costs from waiting longer than I stated. I asked if I could sign a release form to release my car to the tow truck driver providing his name and giving him the money to pay them. They stated that was not an option as we both needed to be there, then proceeded to say that only a notarized paper stating the release to the driver would be acceptable. We said we would go to the bank to get it notarized, then they proceeded to say we cannot do that, I have to be in the hospital for that kind of situation. A few hours later I went back with the tow truck driver to get my car, they tried to raise the price to $450, even though I spoke with them on the phone and in person discussing the price as $400. Finally got the price straight, paid and go to get my car when I find out they carelessly threw their equipment along with the debris and oil dry absorbent pellets on my backseat (and I paid a $50 cleanup fee for the trash to go in my car). They also left my flashers on for the full 8 hours my car was in there lot, do not recommend this business to anyone, as their employees are clearly not trained on customer service or respect for customers property.

As I carefully maneuvered my Corvette down a gravel driveway, the wide tires wanted to steer right into a shallow ditch ! Thank the Lord for Southern Maryland Towing, with their rapid response and professional operator , Trista. She made several attempts to free my low profile vehicle all the while in sub-freezing temps and her. Lovely smile

Had delonte morsell tow me at 11pm at night. I had broken down at a gas station. Very perfesional and very nice person! My car sits a Lil low but he was able to get it on and off his tow truck with no problems!!

Fantastic tow company! We got our car well and truly stuck in the parking lot at Leonardtown Wharf. We called a different tow company recommended by our roadside assistance but over two hours later in the dark and cold the other guy still hadn't showed up. Called Southern Maryland Towing and the guy was out in half an hour. He was polite, very friendly, and had us back on the road in minutes. Absolute lifesaver and I can't recommend them enough.

I got stuck at a friends place in Huntingtown. My car wouldnt start. So I called AAA and Southern Maryland Towing was dispatched to friends place in Huntingtown. Delonte was super helpful with everything. He took care of my car, took it to the repair shop and informed me when it was there. I was initially told by AAA it would take about 1 hour until someone could help me. However, Delonte was there in less than 30 min. I couldnt have been happier about that fast response and service!!!!!!

The scheduling process was efficient, and the operator was both pleasant and knowledgeable. The driver, Delonte, arrived on time and was helpful in determining the best approach for loading the vehicle onto the truck with minimal disruption to our neighborhood. He communicated via phone throughout the process. Overall, I am very pleased with the pricing and the transportation service. Thank you!

I've had bad experiences before with getting a tow thru my insurance (Geico) I usually get angry tow drivers, but Southern Maryland Towing was so awesome. Especially my driver Delonte. He kept me updated on the arrival time, and was just an awesome person with great customer service.

Delonte was dispatched and arrive quicker than I expected. Hooked up my truck without an issue and transported it to the shop without delay. Truly appreciate the assistance and fast service.

Delonte Morsell was my tow truck driver and he was incredibly professional and even helped me move a car out of the way in order to get to the car that needed to be towed. The car we moved didn’t have keys so he generously helped me push it. He also called and let me know my car made it to its destination safe and sound.

Highlander got stuck in a ditch but wasn't damaged the night of Tuesday 27 AUG. Driver Josh was a total pro and got the vehicle out of a challenging situation with no apparent damage - was able to drive it home. Great job. Much appreciated. Invoice 99696-1

I had an excellent experience with Southern Maryland Towing Company. Josh, the tow truck driver, was incredibly helpful. He communicated the estimated time of arrival clearly and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Despite the inconvenient position it put him in, he was able to accommodate us without any issues. The tow was quick and easy, and Josh made the unfortunate situation of being stuck on the side of the road much more bearable. Highly recommend their services!

Terrell came out to help my neighbor move her camper, he was so friendly and made sure she knew what was going on. She had lots of questions! If I could give him more starts I would. 10/10 will always recommend him and the company!

Spoke with rude representative (tapestry- I'm probably spelling it wrong ) asked a time of when tow driver was coming to my vehicle because they were already behind their 60 to 90 min quote , she said he is about 10 mins away I this was at 12:56 explained I was getting the rental. She said they will wait 15 mins maximum. I explained that would be fine because I should get there at 120. I go to the vehicle nobody is there. I got there at 120.. waited nothing.. so I called, spoke to her again and she said they waited and left. I explained no way because I was there. Then she tells me when she was on the phone with me the 1st time they had arrived and her computer was slow and didn't see they arrived at 12:56. And the driver had another call so he left. I explained I just talked to her and she stated you have to call your insurance and request a resend. * appears customer service and communication is lacking.

My son was in an accident last week and Southern Maryland Towing arrived on scene to tow his vehicle as the first reliable tow service. On scene I was advised that "It would be about $300" to have the vehicle towed. Once the vehicle arrived at my residence (5 miles away) I was advised that the cost was $350. The receipt was not itemized so I reached out to the company to obtain an itemized bill. I was told $300 was for the tow and that $50 was for "clean up". I stated that no clean up was done on scene, the vehicle was loaded and driven away that's it. The receptionist rudely advised me that they have to bill for clean up no matter what. Sounds like standard practice for this company is to bill for services not rendered. To date, I'm still waiting for a response to obtain a refund for $50 for services that I did not receive. Attached are photos from the scene taken 5 days after the accident, showing that no clean up occurred Update: I was advised that my bill is incorrect and should have totaled $340. A $300 Tow fee and a $40 Admin fee.... I was told that I may pick up my $50 refund today as they are waiving the $40l (admin fee). Funny how the story and bill changed..... Be sure to review your bills and ensure you aren't being charged for services that were not received.

A lady name Janine came within 20 minutes for my car. She then took the time to find another shop within the radius that would take care of my car for cheaper than the dealership I was taking it to. I’m a nurse and she let me run in to take care of my patients while she took care and looked around to help me with the car. I really really appreciated her for that.

My fiancé and I Used this place for a Tow through AAA (we’ve used them once before today too). Both times they were very knowledgeable and professional. Janine helped us today and she was just amazing! Thanks so much for your help Janine! ❤️

Highly recommend their driver Janine! She really knows her stuff and treated my truck like it was her own. She even text me when she dropped it off at the shop to let me know it was safe. Will definitely call them again if needed.

Just an outstanding service company!! I called, through AAA, to get a car towed and the pride and professionalism displayed by the lady who initially called me, unfortunately I did not get her name, to Miss Trista, who came to our rescue, were just wonderful!! Miss Trista seemed as though she'd been doing this a lifetime, but she hadn't been doing it long at all. She is a true asset to this company!! Kudos to Southern Maryland Towing and Miss Trista!! I had a great experience. I am sorry I don't remember the woman's name who assisted me. But I had been dealing with my vehicle issue all weekend and once my insurance company finally dispatched them, I was called right away and the operator who assisted me was very familiar with the other tow company I was working with. There were some discrepancies from my insurance company and she immediately called them on my behalf and took care of everything. I wish I could remember the woman's name who helped me but she was so pleasant and just a joy to deal with. If I need them again I will definitely be using Southern Maryland Towing.

What a wonderful and pleasant company to work with. Shawn took very good care of my dad's car when placing and taking it off the bed of the tow truck. Great tow company. Tim went far beyond what a tow truck driver would normally do. He stuck around and helped us move a 1800 lb. embroidery machine off the delivery truck and into the door of our office. Very professional and helpful.
